    Meals

    Came to the countryside for dinner, but it was disappointing that frozen food was served instead of local cuisine.

    A small Ryokan is ideal.

    A cozy Ryokan with a calm atmosphere, perfect for those who prefer a quieter stay. With only about 10 rooms, it can also be rented out entirely for company retreats or private events. The Onsen (bath) is small but offers excellent quality water. However, the dripping water from the ceiling is less than ideal.

    Father and child enjoy lively moments at the open-air bath campsite.

    The accommodation is located along the Yasugawa River at the foot of the Shiga Prefecture side of the Suzuka Skyline, which connects Hino Town and Yunoyama in Mie Prefecture. It features an attached campsite. Guests can carry their luggage from the spacious parking lot to the front desk for check-in. The staff is minimal, giving it a nostalgic feel reminiscent of a former national holiday village. The efficient self-service system is satisfactory. The building is new, with rooms that are more spacious than those in city hotels and very clean. It seems to be a public accommodation. The room I stayed in was larger than others, close to being barrier-free as it was a corner room; however, it did not offer great views. The large bathhouse is located in a separate building connected by a roofed walkway. During the day, it is open to non-staying visitors for bathing but becomes exclusive to main building and campsite guests after evening hours. There are four washing stations each for men and women, which can get crowded at times. Families camping nearby seem lively and cheerful even in the bathhouse. For staying guests, simply soaking in the large indoor bath or lukewarm outdoor bath (which is shallow) may suffice; however, using your room's new and spacious unit bathroom might be more convenient. Although its bathtub fills up completely within about 10 minutes despite its size—there’s only one washing station available inside—it offers privacy. Meals are served at a bright restaurant overlooking both river scenery alongside adjacent campsites directly ahead—a serene dining atmosphere perfect especially among family groups present here frequently too! True-to-reviews quality food options include plenty local sake varieties alongside craft beers aplenty likewise complementing overall experience well-roundedly altogether therein! Bedrooms themselves meanwhile remain quiet-spacious-comfortable ensuring restful sleep uninterrupted entirely devoid external disturbances whether stemming traffic noises nor sounds emanating nearby campgrounds alike respectively assuredly guaranteed satisfaction ultimately delivered comprehensively end-to-end inclusively!

    A quiet and relaxing accommodation.

    This is my second stay following last year. It was a very quiet and relaxing accommodation. The room was spacious and clean, and the meals were delicious and consistently good. I would love to stay at this accommodation again when I visit the area. I bought a KAMOTANS T-shirt for my child! It's very cute.
