    Although the building is old, the food and service are excellent.

    The building is old, but the excellent service and delicious food more than make up for it. I would definitely like to visit again. In addition to the wonderful hospitality from the staff, welcome drinks, as well as complimentary drinks and ice cream after your bath, are provided free of charge. Dinner is served in your Room, featuring a wide variety of dishes made with local specialties such as Naruto sea bream—delicious and very generous in portion size. Breakfast is also Japanese-style, and instead of a buffet it is served as a beautifully presented set meal, where you can truly taste the chef’s heartfelt care.

    It was great.

    We used the in-room dining option, and I think having meals served in the Room at this price is a great value. The food was excellent with nothing to complain about, and everything was delicious. The bath also had an amazing view and was wonderful. However, for some reason the air conditioner in the women’s bath seemed to be broken, making the changing area feel like a sauna. The fan was covered in dust, and the changing area was littered with trash. The Facility itself is old, but overall it felt well maintained, so it was disappointing that only the women’s bath had these issues.

    An Accommodation with truly breathtaking views

    The views from the front desk and from the Room were absolutely stunning—nothing to complain about. (At night, the weather suddenly changed with heavy rain and thunder, and that amazing view was honestly a bit scary in a funny way.) In the morning, we could see the sunrise, and it was breathtaking again. As for the bath, since the cold bath was located where you can see the Onaruto Bridge, it was a little disappointing that I couldn’t relax in it while fully enjoying the view. There were mosquitoes in the changing room as well, so I’d feel more at ease if insect control measures were taken. The welcome drink service also included delicious locally known tea, which I really enjoyed. The Shuttle Service bus departing the next day can also drop you off at Otsuka Museum of Art, which is very convenient if you’re visiting the museum. I had them take me to Naruto Station. Thank you very much. When staying overnight in Naruto, this Hotel will probably be my only choice—it was comfortably relaxing in just the right way.

    It was very good.

    We stayed with our child, and the Accommodation had thoughtfully prepared many items such as barley tea for children, bibs, toys, and a dedicated diaper bin, which made our stay very comfortable. Everyone was kind and truly hospitable. We also received a letter from the dining staff, which made this trip especially heartwarming. We would love to stay again.

    Spectacular Views and Dinner

    You’re welcomed in the lobby by a view of the Naruto Strait Bridge. This time we had in-Room dining, and everything was delicious—the sashimi, Wagyu beef, and Awaodori chicken. Even my 88-year-old mother unusually finished almost everything. The only disappointment was that there are no handrails for getting into the large public bath tub. Since we saw many elderly guests, I think it would be best to install them. We stayed in a top-floor Room, but the sound of raindrops hitting the outdoor AC unit kept bothering me and made it hard to fall asleep. If it had been sunny, it wouldn’t have been an issue.

    Although the building is old, the breathtaking view of the Naruto Bridge and the wonderful staff make it a great stay.

    Honestly, I was surprised by how old the exterior looked at first, but the inside of the building was clean and well maintained, and all the staff were very kind. The food wasn’t flashy, but every dish was delicious. The lovely woman from the Philippines who served our dinner (in-Room dining) was efficient and left a great impression. My wife forgot her glasses at the breakfast venue, and a staff member went out of their way to bring them to us. The location is excellent—you can see the Naruto Bridge right in front of you from both the lobby lounge and your Room. It was also a perfect base for going to see the whirlpools. Highly recommended!

    It was a relaxing accommodation.

    I chose this Accommodation on my first trip to Shikoku because I wanted to see the Naruto whirlpools in Tokushima. The reasonable price and the appeal of in-room dining also caught my eye, and choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision! The view from the Room was wonderful and we could see the whirlpools, and we could even see them from the bath, which was fantastic. Both the food and drinks were delicious, and being able to relax with in-room dining was great, but above all, the staff were excellent, making our stay comfortable and truly relaxing. The dishes were so good... I ate until I was completely full (lol). All the thoughtful touches made me happy, and it was a comforting, pleasant start to our trip. I’d love to stay here again when I come back to Tokushima.

    From the Room and the large public bath, we could see the Naruto Strait and the Onaruto Bridge up close. We could also walk to the Uzunomichi walkway beneath the Onaruto Bridge. Dinner and breakfast featured a wide variety of dishes made with local ingredients, including Naruto sea bream, and we were very satisfied. The Hotel was a comfortable size and not noisy, and we enjoyed our trip even with our grandchild.

    Accommodation with Spectacular Views of the Onaruto Bridge!

    It’s very close to the Onaruto Bridge, so we enjoyed spectacular views from both the lounge and our Room! The Room is a bit old, but it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There’s an older built-in hair dryer, but a newer hair dryer is placed underneath it—so no worries lol. Mineral water is free for each guest. We were happy to find high-quality coffee and tea in the lobby lounge that you can enjoy freely. We had an evening drink with shochu and snacks bought at the shop. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—especially the simmered Naruto sea bream (ara-ni), which was outstanding. You can also see the bridge from the large public bath (indoor bath only). I always judge based on price and what you get, and I think this Accommodation offers excellent value for money. Another reason we chose this Accommodation was its convenient location near the Onaruto Bridge and the Otsuka Museum of Art. This time, it was a great deal because it included Otsuka Museum of Art tickets. As a standard Ryokan, there’s no greeting on arrival or send-off at departure, but all staff provided good service. Highly recommended for sightseeing in Naruto.

    Dinner was amazing!

    The views are absolutely spectacular. The front desk service was a bit disappointing!? It was unfortunate that the Onsen was not being supplied (heated water?). Dinner was truly delicious. We caused a lot of trouble for the shuttle bus driver (he was very kind). Thank you for your help.

    Although it is old, it was comfortable.

    Although some parts of the building and Facility are old, the view and meals were enjoyable, making for a comfortable stay. There was a shuttle bus to tourist spots, and several attractions were within walking distance, allowing for easy exploration of the area. I stayed for two nights, and the meals were varied each day, which was highly satisfying.

    Magnificent Naruto Bridge!

    Both dinner and breakfast were luxurious, featuring an abundance of fresh local fish and ingredients that were almost too much to finish—absolutely satisfying! Enjoy a welcome drink while taking in the breathtaking view from the lobby. The sunrise was also incredibly beautiful. Being right next to the bridge, you can enjoy watching the tides change over time. The "Uzunomichi" walkway is just nearby, allowing you to leisurely admire the whirlpools from above on the bridge—a truly spectacular experience separate from a cruise! While the Facility is slightly dated, the unique views here make it all worthwhile!

    It exceeded my expectations.

    Providing such excellent services at this price is truly remarkable; even a slight price increase would still be worth it. Both dinner and breakfast were highly satisfying, and having dinner served in the Room allowed us to enjoy a wonderful time as a family. The staff and management were incredibly friendly, and I was impressed by the proper training provided to the employees. Although there is only one elevator, leading to longer wait times which may be difficult to improve now, I would love to revisit for the exceptional service that outweighs this inconvenience.     I booked a one-night...

    I booked a one-night, two-day stay with dinner and breakfast included, along with tickets to the Otsuka Museum of Art. Considering the Accommodation Fee, I didn't have high expectations, but it exceeded them. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were kind, and the view was great. I highly recommend this Ryokan. It's not a Hotel but a traditional Ryokan, which is part of its charm.

    Located right next t...

    Located right next to the Naruto Strait, we were drawn by the luxurious meals and decided to stay here. Although there was a last-minute change in the number of guests, the staff kindly accommodated us, which was very helpful. The building is old, but the lobby, room, and large public bath were clean and comfortable. The room also offered a stunning view. Both breakfast and dinner were so luxurious that we couldn't finish everything. We enjoyed local ingredients and delicious rice from Tokushima Prefecture. The Onsen was at a perfect temperature and very relaxing. While the location near Naruto Strait was excellent, accessing it via public transportation was challenging. It would be more convenient if there were more shuttle buses or flexible arrangements available (we struggled to reach the hotel after getting off at the final bus stop with heavy luggage from Otsuka Museum of Art as no taxis were available). Our child also enjoyed participating in an indigo dyeing event held at the accommodation. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Old but clean and comfortable.

    The building is old, but it was very clean. The drink service and post-bath ice cream were delightful touches. I appreciated the effort, such as having ReFa showerheads in the bath. The staff were friendly, and my grandchild thoroughly enjoyed the indigo dyeing experience. From the Room, we could enjoy a dynamic view of Naruto Bridge and ocean currents, which was wonderful. We savored Akashi sea bream for our meal and were very satisfied. The children's meals were of high quality and great value for money, which impressed us greatly. It’s conveniently located near whirlpool sightseeing spots and Otsuka Museum of Art.

    I was able to relax.

    We booked a reservation for a trip as a couple after a long time, since we love the ocean. The view from the room was amazing. The sea bream kaiseki meal was very delicious and satisfying. We enjoyed relaxing in the bath, and the freely available ice cream was also tasty. However, there was one small disappointment: We stayed during the hot month of August, and the air conditioning in the room didn’t work well. We woke up sweating in the middle of the night due to heat but managed to sleep somewhat after lowering it to 24°C. Still, we’d like to visit again! Maybe next time when it’s cooler!

    The lobby offers a stunning view.

    The lobby view and the free soft drink service in the lobby were impressive, but overall, it felt like a minimalistic Hotel. The room view was nice as well, but the windproof wired glass was a bit disappointing.

    It was a wonderful time.

    The food was absolutely delicious!! The sashimi was fresh and tender, the simmered fish and hot pot had incredibly flavorful broth, and the sea bream rice was perfectly moist—everything was truly delightful. I was so full, but even with the hearty breakfast the next morning, it was so tasty that I ended up finishing everything. The freshly cooked rice in a pot came with a wide variety of side dishes, making it hard to decide where to start. The sea bream miso had a sweet flavor that paired perfectly with the rice! I wish this could be sold at the gift shop! Beyond the food, the staff's hospitality, indigo dyeing experience, and stunning scenery were all exceptional. I definitely want to visit again! Thank you so much for everything!

    Enjoy the Scenic Views of Naruto

    We enjoyed the stunning view of Naruto from the lobby and bath. The service by the staff at the dining area was excellent, and their cheerful advice on how to best enjoy the sea bream rice made for a memorable experience. Suggestions for improvement: The smell in the room was noticeable. It would be better if the room was cooled before arrival. The sliding paper doors could use replacement. In the bath, one-third of it was closed, and only high-temperature or cold water options were available; a tub with a moderate temperature would have been appreciated. The ReFa showerheads and post-bath ice cream were delightful touches. Overall, this accommodation exceeded its price value. The shuttle bus drivers were very friendly and left us feeling happy throughout our stay. We will continue to support you in the future! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience this time around!

    Writing a review for the first time in years.

    I was prepared to book only a smoking room without a view of the bridge since I was traveling alone. However, when I called the day before my stay, I was told that I could change to a room with a bridge view by paying an additional fee directly, so I checked in earlier than planned. To my surprise, upon entering the room, half of the window area was blocked by a wall and the remaining half had wired glass positioned higher than waist level, offering an unimpressive view. The room had an odor reminiscent of an old warehouse, making it difficult to sleep. In hindsight, perhaps staying in the smoking room I initially expected would have been better. That said, the view from the lobby was indeed nice.

    Great location and excellent value for money.

    The location is perfect for Uzushio sightseeing. Enjoy views of Uzushio and the Naruto Bridge from the rooms and the large public bath. While the meal presentation and room layout may feel slightly retro, the food quality and quantity are excellent, and the rooms are clean. Overall, great value for money.

    Solo Travel

    It was my first visit to Naruto. Since the station is a bit far, I requested Shuttle Service, which was very helpful. I enjoyed the Onsen while admiring the beautiful scenery, and it was very relaxing. The meals were plentiful and absolutely delicious. The rice from Tokushima was especially tasty!

    The view is amazing.

    The Great Naruto Bridge was very close and impressive. Although the weather was cloudy and I initially thought the view would be disappointing, the mist created a magical and beautiful atmosphere. The meal was a sea bream course, and the sea bream rice cooked in a pot at the end was so delicious that I ate it all and felt full. In the morning, small dishes were served in little portions, which were also delicious. The staff were friendly with warm smiles. The Room was clean and well-maintained.     If you want to see whirlpools, this accommodation is perfect.

    While there are some areas showing signs of aging, the staff's excellent service, complimentary drinks and ice cream in the lobby and before/after bathing, and overall hospitality make this a perfect experience. I would love to visit again.

    Great views and delicious meals.

    The Facility may be a bit old, but the view from the Room is absolutely stunning. The meals were incredibly delicious, just as everyone has mentioned. The price was very reasonable, and I’m glad I stayed here. Oh! The bath was also clean and wonderful. It even had a ReFa shower head and a sauna—simply perfect!
