    Onsen

    I was supposed to bring the Room towels to the Onsen, but a staff member who happened to be checking the water kindly brought me towels, so I could relax in the hot water and feel refreshed. The dinner was also delicious.

    Year-End Family Trip

    The Ryokan is located in the center of the onsen town, with a convenience store right in front, making it very convenient. There are a few parking spaces available in front of the entrance, and the compact layout of the facility makes it ideal for families with small children or elderly guests as there is minimal walking required. When noting food allergies during the reservation, meals were prepared without allergenic ingredients on the day, allowing for a worry-free dining experience. However, the hallways and elevator can be cold, so it's recommended to bring an extra layer when leaving your room.

    I want to visit again!

    The staff's courteous service and their wonderful smiles made this accommodation truly delightful. Although the accommodation itself is a bit old, it was very clean and well-maintained. The onsen lived up to its reputation as a famous hot spring, with the water being absolutely amazing. The meals were delicious, plentiful, and highly satisfying. The cost-performance was exceptional. This time I visited for a girls' trip, but next time I’d love to bring my daughter and her husband along. It became a truly memorable trip for me. Thank you so much!

    A Momentary Rest

    As it gets colder in Hokkaido, I suddenly thought of going to an onsen, but since I haven't changed to winter tires, I decided to look for a stay at a nearby onsen area instead of going far. At this age, I prefer a property where I can enjoy a leisurely meal served at the table rather than a facility that offers buffet meals where you have to line up in front of the dining venue. Compared to Takinoya Main Building, there are significant differences in price, scale, and the type of hot spring. The building is old, and I couldn't help but laugh with my husband as we could hear the snoring from the next room; it was a nostalgic stay at a traditional inn. However, the interior is well-maintained, and although the large bath is small, there is also an open-air bath, and the family bath is equipped with both an indoor bath and an open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water. Considering the accommodation fee, I think the meals are quite satisfying. The handmade raw chocolate by the head chef was very delicious. For us, as with the main building, the warm atmosphere we feel from the property makes our stay comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The main building is...

    The main building is impressive, and I was looking forward to it, but it was completely different. Unfortunately, I should have spent a little more money to stay in the main building. I didn't expect such a difference. It was a disgrace to the name of Takinoya. The reception service was particularly terrible, and when I went for a bath before bed, the staff ignored me while brushing their teeth at the reception. I am still displeased.
