The bath description and the meals...

I felt there was a significant difference between staff who provided good service and those who did not. During the check-in explanation, I would have liked to be told that the large public bath and the open-air bath are in completely separate areas; since there is no washing area, it was really inconvenient. Another negative point was that I made my Reservation looking forward to the “Hōraku-yaki” dinner, but when the meal was served it had been changed to “rock oysters” without any explanation. Later, someone who seemed to be the proprietress came to explain that it had been changed, but I would have appreciated an explanation from the start. On the other hand, everything else—such as the hot spring water quality, feeding the black kites, breakfast, and how kindly staff responded when we passed them—was excellent. I’m sure many guests make a Reservation specifically looking forward to the food, so I think it would be even better if explanations were provided more thoroughly.

    Definitely coming back

We stayed in the Yunagi Room this time! The Room was beautiful and spotless, with a great sense of cleanliness. It also had a private bath, and the view was amazing! Meals were served in a private dining room, featuring sea bream, abalone, spiny lobster, and Matsusaka beef—far too luxurious for me—and we enjoyed a delicious and wonderful time. The hospitality from the experienced attendant during meals was truly outstanding. The front desk staff were also flexible and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Quiet with a great view, but there is room for improvement.

I tried to let an insect out of the Room through the window, but when I opened it, dust fell down and the dirt on the window was very noticeable, which was disappointing. If breakfast could start a little earlier, it would help reduce crowding and make it easier to plan travel schedules from early in the day. Feeding the black kites was fun.

It may be difficult for elderly guests.

I traveled with my elderly father, but it was difficult because the Hotel front desk was far away and up a slope, and the large public bath and open-air bath were also far away and accessible only by stairs. They also forgot to lay out the futons, so we unfortunately had to contact the front desk ourselves. The service from the foreign staff members was very good.

A warm and welcoming Ryokan you'll want to return to again and again

We stayed with two young children. The room with a private open-air bath was very comfortable for families with kids. The hostess in charge of the room was incredibly kind and wonderful. We enjoyed the meals—sashimi, spiny lobster, Matsusaka beef, and oysters—and the sea bream was the best we have ever had. We would love to come again.

This Facility offers thoughtful and kind hospitality from the staff.

I stayed here with my elementary school-aged son. We arrived in the rain, and a staff member in the parking lot offered us their own umbrella while they helped us wearing only a hood. After that, another staff member came to greet us with an umbrella, and I was impressed that everyone assisted us with wonderful smiles. Thank you very much for doing your best to communicate with us in Japanese. The Onsen in our Room was a bit lukewarm, but we had a very comfortable stay. The Room was also clean and comfortable. Dinner was a luxurious meal featuring very fresh seafood and Matsusaka beef. We were extremely satisfied. At both dinner and breakfast, a female staff member from Aomori kindly chatted with my son, and he seemed to enjoy his meals. At breakfast, one older female staff member who was moving around very busily gave me an intimidating impression—whether she was in a bad mood or that is simply her manner—but aside from her, this Facility had many kind and wonderful staff members. If we have the opportunity, we would love to visit again. Thank you.

    Warm hospitality and unforgettable experiences

From the moment we arrived at the Hotel, the staff kindly checked on us and asked about the weather and how we were feeling. The large public bath was also very clean.\nThe view from our Room was wonderful. The next morning, feeding black kites was a first for me and became a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.\nEven when we were leaving, the staff spoke to us warmly. This is a Hotel that made our trip a great memory. Thank you very much.

The meals and the Onsen were satisfying.

Because we had a 1-year-old child, the meals were accommodated early, and everything was served at a good pace exactly as we requested in advance, which was excellent. The staff member in charge of meals was also very pleasant and kind. However, the older man in charge of the parking lot did not guide us to a space at all, and when we tried to unload our luggage, he criticized how we parked, which was extremely unpleasant. My daughter and her husband, who arrived later, received the same treatment; it would have been better if he hadn’t been there. His manner of speaking was not appropriate for dealing with guests, and it made us feel very uncomfortable before our stay even began. I feel this Hotel is making an effort overall, but the first impression was far too negative and put me in a bad mood from the start. First impressions really matter. We stay in the Ise area every year around this time, and this was by far the worst parking service we have experienced. It’s truly disappointing.

We believe this is the only Hotel in Ise-Shima with such a view.

I stayed in a corner Room in the East Wing, and the view was simply breathtaking. Because it’s at the tip of the building where it forms a triangle, sitting in the chair let me take in two directions at once, almost giving a floating-in-the-air sensation. Dinner portions were generous and very fresh. My friend from Singapore said that oysters sometimes upset his stomach back home, but the oysters here were fresh and delicious. An incident before arriving at the Hotel dampened my expectations, but both the man from the Shuttle Service and the woman who served dinner chatted with us openly about various things. Their friendly, unpretentious service made me feel relaxed as well. From my Room window I watched the sun rise over the sea, and for the first time in a while I felt truly refreshed.

    Prime Location

Located on a hill much higher than the surrounding accommodations, this place offers breathtaking views of both the sea and mountains. The staff's hospitality and meals were highly satisfying. The meal portions were just right, and the plan featuring Matsusaka beef, abalone, and Ise lobster was incredibly luxurious. There was also grilled oysters available; although I usually don't like them, I managed to try them for the first time here. During this season, we could see the sunset from our room's bath—it was perfectly centered in the view and absolutely stunning. However, water stains on the windows of both the bath and room were quite noticeable, which was a bit disappointing given how amazing the scenery is. What stood out compared to other accommodations: having not only a hairdryer but also a straightening iron in our room; offering not just standard one-piece yukata but also two-piece sets; thick mattress-style futons in Japanese-style rooms that provided excellent comfort; and beautiful ocean views from both private dining rooms and parking areas. Next time, I'd love to stay in another room with an open-air bath!

    I felt relaxed.

We enjoyed the Onsen. The meals were fresh and very delicious. The service was also satisfying. We would like to visit again if we have the chance.

    Highly satisfied! Definitely coming back!

We stayed in a room with an open-air bath for our couple's trip. The scenery and cuisine were breathtaking. The view from the room was stunning, and we could enjoy it anytime while soaking in the private open-air bath, offering an extraordinary experience. The meals featured dishes like spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef served one after another, with both taste and portion size being exceptional. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options, leaving us very satisfied. Above all, we truly felt the heartfelt hospitality of the staff, making it a perfect trip. We'll definitely be back!

It was a wonderful accommodation perfect for our wedding anniversary.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, which provided a sense of escape and was incredibly relaxing. The private bath was also clean and comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely time. The heartfelt hospitality from the staff was excellent, making my stay pleasant throughout. It took me some time to understand the layout between the main building and the east wing, but thanks to their thorough explanation, it became a memorable experience as well. The meals were highly satisfying in both taste and portion size; every dish was delicious and created a special moment. Additionally, feeding the black kites was an impressive experience as I marveled at their powerful flight up close—a truly unique activity. Everything exceeded expectations, and I would love to visit this accommodation again!

It was an old Hotel, but...

We chose Ishigami Daiichi Hotel Kagura as our first-night stay for sightseeing in Ise, Shima, and Toba. The exterior was quite old, but the guest rooms were very clean and we were extremely satisfied. The ocean view from the private open-air bath in the room was fantastic, allowing us to relax while enjoying the Onsen. Dinner was served in a private room, where we enjoyed delicious seafood. We would definitely like to stay here again.

    Excellent Accommodation

Upon arriving at the parking lot, we were warmly welcomed by a gentleman with a smile despite the heat. A lady guided us to our room after check-in, and another lady took care of us during dinner. Everyone provided exceptional service. The staff at the shop also carefully packed souvenirs from Ise-Shima to send to my daughter in Kanto. The cuisine and the private open-air bath in the room were outstanding. This is an accommodation I would absolutely recommend. Thank you very much!

    Everything was completely satisfying!

Stayed in the spacious room "Mori to Umi to" with a private Onsen open-air bath. The room was new, very clean, and perfect for our family of four to relax comfortably. The Onsen in the room was spotless, including the washing area and bathtub, making it incredibly enjoyable. In the morning, we could bathe while watching adorable black kites flying above. The public Onsen was also pleasant, but since the open-air bath is located separately, we preferred using the private Onsen in our room. Meals were served in a nice dining space with an abundant menu featuring abalone and spiny lobster that left us completely full. As for the view from the room, there is a large tree right in front of it; those prioritizing scenic views might want to choose a different room instead. We were extremely satisfied—thank you very much!

    We stayed for one ni...

We stayed for one night as a group of three to relax with my parents. The property is located further up a hill from the famous Pearl Road, known for its scenic drives. When we arrived, it was covered in thick fog and completely whiteout, but it gradually cleared up, allowing us to enjoy stunning views of the sunset and the Pacific Ocean from the private dining room and the open-air bath in our Room. Dinner featured freshly caught seafood, including grilled abalone and spiny lobster prepared right in front of us by a staff member. The simple yet flavorful seafood dishes were plentiful and satisfying. The breakfast buffet's highlight was a large platter of grilled sea bream head—tender and delicious! As for Facilities and amenities, while the older building's layout made navigating to the public bath slightly confusing, and we had to be mindful about noise when opening or closing our Room door at night, everything else was excellent. They offered various sizes of yukata robes along with pajama-style loungewear, two bath towels per person, skincare products like lotion, hair irons, and even towel dryers. If I had to nitpick—the coffee provided in-room was weak compared to the delicious coffee served at the dining area. The service wasn't overly formal but warm; all staff members were kind and accommodating. We enjoyed a relaxed stay without any pressure or pretense. My parents were very pleased as well—thank you so much!

    Couples' Getaway

The food was excellent, but the pace was slightly fast. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, but it was crowded, making it a bit rushed to finish within an hour. The staff member from Aomori was friendly and provided great service.

Clean and highly satisfying accommodation, but lacks detailed explanation.

We recently stayed at your accommodation for our anniversary. We had been looking forward to it for days and chose the "Yuunagi" room after checking various social media platforms. I even called twice with questions, mentioning that I had reserved "Yuunagi." However, upon check-in, we were told we would be staying in the slightly smaller "Shiosai" room next door. When I mentioned that I thought we had reserved "Yuunagi," the staff checked and confirmed our reservation but said both rooms were similar in size and view, asking if it was okay to stay in "Shiosai." When I insisted on staying in "Yuunagi," they informed me someone else was already checked into that room. This left us confused as there was no clear explanation or resolution offered. Despite expressing dissatisfaction, nothing was done to address the issue. While the "Shiosai" room itself was clean and pleasant, later on, we noticed guests entering the adjacent "Yuunagi" room. This made us wonder why we weren’t allowed to stay there first as originally planned. The explanation provided about both rooms being similar felt inadequate since there were noticeable differences: “Shiosai” is slightly smaller with a mountain-facing bath instead of an ocean view like “Yuunagi.” As this was our wedding anniversary celebration, we tried to enjoy dinner despite this disappointment. We had expected an ocean-view private dining experience as described for “Yuunagi,” but instead found ourselves in a standard private dining area without an ocean view—unlike what guests of “Yuunagi” seemed to have received. This discrepancy left us puzzled since part of our surprise plan relied on having an ocean-view setting for such a special occasion. That said, while disappointed by these issues regarding room allocation and communication during booking confirmation calls beforehand—the actual accommodations (even within “Shiosai”), meals served throughout dinner service alongside exceptional hospitality shown by restaurant staff—all exceeded expectations overall! However small details like unclear pricing policies (e.g., extension fees listed at ¥1,500/hour yet charged ¥3,000/hour) detracted from what could’ve otherwise been flawless experiences altogether!

    We had a wonderful trip.

Although it was a bit far from Ise Jingu for my first visit, the view from the Room was great, and the open-air bath was very relaxing and comfortable. The meals, including fresh abalone and sashimi, were incredibly delicious! The staff's pleasant hospitality made the experience even more satisfying. I would love to stay here again.

    Very comfortable

Stayed in a room with an open-air bath. Fully enjoyed the open-air bath. The view was great, and we also enjoyed feeding the kites. I would like to use it again.

I had an enjoyable summer vacation.

We visited as a group of four: my husband and I, his sister, and her grandson (a fifth grader). The view of the sea from our room's window was expansive, and the open-air bath in the room was full of a sense of freedom. The food was also very delicious and satisfying. The staff who served us engaged in conversation with the fifth-grade boy, making our meal enjoyable. Feeding the kites was unexpectedly fun and well-received. The children of guests from abroad were also very delighted. It was an enjoyable summer vacation.
