  Great location! A welcoming inn with heartfelt hospitality

  First of all, the location is outstanding. It’s just off Yufuin’s lively main street, so they kindly let us park our car before check-in and enjoy sightseeing on foot at a relaxed pace. It was also reassuring to be able to use the restroom beforehand. The inn has a charming atmosphere from the entrance, and the irori hearth was a wonderful touch. The room was spacious enough. The building does feel a bit old overall, but the bathroom facilities were new and very clean, which made it very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were so lavish we couldn’t finish everything, and we also loved the all-you-can-drink service after dinner in the irori lounge area (sake, wine, and soft drinks). All baths were private: two indoor baths and two open-air baths, available 24 hours a day. Many of the staff were international, but everyone truly embodied Japanese hospitality. They even offered to take a commemorative photo for us at the entrance when we left, then bowed deeply and waved until we were out of sight—it genuinely moved us. Thank you so much for creating such wonderful travel memories for us.

  My daughter stayed w...

  My daughter stayed with two friends she hadn't seen in a long time. They said the private bath was excellent. The breakfast was also very luxurious and delicious. The owner was very kind and recommended great restaurants for dinner since they hadn’t included it in their stay, making their experience even more enjoyable. They were extremely happy with their time here.

  It was a wonderful accommodation.

  I stayed at this accommodation with my overseas friend who wanted to experience a ryokan. Although we chose a plan without meals since there are many shops nearby, it was a great experience! The staff were all kind and wonderful, and the foreign staff spoke English, which made my friend feel at ease. The room was very clean and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the room was beautiful, and the starry sky seen from outside or the open-air bath was absolutely amazing. I would love to stay here again when I visit Yufuin!
