    It was a very enjoyable trip.

    A one-night trip with three friends. On the day of our stay, they picked us up at the station regardless of our arrival time, and after checkout they stored our luggage and later drove us back to the station after sightseeing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, we were able to relax in the Onsen, and the Room was spacious—making it a truly wonderful trip. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

    Highly satisfied.

    All the staff were cheerful and courteous, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The meals were delicious, and I also enjoyed taking my time with the sake tasting service. Thank you very much. This was my first stay, but since it’s close to home, I would definitely like to stay again.

    The breakfast was excellent!!

    I stayed for one night because I suddenly had plans to visit Wakayama. Since I arrived late, I didn’t add dinner, but the meals had great reviews so I requested breakfast. (I had mistakenly made a Reservation with No Meals Included, so I called to ask—and they kindly accommodated my request.) In the end, I’m truly glad I chose the breakfast plan. For a small additional fee, I enjoyed a luxurious seafood-rich breakfast. At the buffet, there were many delicious sides to go with rice, and I ate plenty of fluffy rice with whitebait (shirasu), grated yam (tororo), and egg over rice. The seafood was genuinely excellent. The lounge drink service—tea, coffee, and herbal tea—was also great. The roasted barley tea was especially fragrant and memorable. Although my stomach is sensitive so I didn’t try it, there is also shaved ice service at night. It was also wonderful to be able to visit the nearby Awashima Shrine. I’ve come to love Kada. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    An Onsen Accommodation in a prime location overlooking Kada Bay

    On our drive back from Mount Koya to Kansai International Airport in a rental car, we wanted to take it easy for a bit. While looking for an Accommodation, we found this one and made a Reservation. With an outstanding location overlooking the calm Kada Bay, everything was excellent—wonderful cuisine and attentive service. We were completely satisfied.

    Great meals, but disappointing cleanliness and attention to detail.

    This was my first stay. Both breakfast and dinner were very delicious. The lounge was great, with coffee and other cold drinks available 24 hours a day. Most of the servers were young women, and there were moments when their choice of words stood out to me, but I hope to see them grow going forward. I had high expectations for the Onsen after seeing the photos on the website, but it was smaller than expected. The open-air bath was screened off, so there was no open view at all, which was disappointing. However, the water quality was good. The Room had been renovated and was very clean and stylish. However, when I looked at the teapot to make tea, there were still stained drips left from a previous guest’s tea, and the inside of the teapot was wet. It seemed like it had only been lightly rinsed. I would like them to wipe off water droplets as well. After seeing that, I didn’t feel like drinking the water in the insulated pot provided. Also, an extra futon set (+1 person) had been prepared in a bedroom with beds, but there was a large stain near the head area of the mattress—completely visible. At minimum, it should be placed at the foot end or flipped over; more consideration is needed. The futon itself was a firm cotton futon and not comfortable to sleep on.

    The breakfast was excellent!

    We stayed here during our wedding anniversary trip. Due to an unexpected incident, we arrived much later than planned and missed the open-air bath while watching the sunset we had been looking forward to. Dinner ended up being rushed as well, but we were able to enjoy premium ingredients. Breakfast was also excellent. During our stay, a male staff member was very kind and helpful. Because it is quite far away, we cannot visit often, but we would like to return if we have the opportunity.

    On the sea side, the wind was strong and the window kept rattling. It was cold near the Room window. The meals were delicious.

    Delicious meals

    As mentioned in the reviews, the food was truly delicious. I usually don't eat much fish and am not a big fan of sashimi, but every fish dish I had at the hotel was amazing! I would love to visit this accommodation again.

    I felt completely refreshed.

    I had some free time over the weekend, so I was searching four days in advance and luckily found one available room and made a reservation. Without much prior research, I booked it simply because the room had an open-air bath and they seemed to focus on their meals, but I was extremely satisfied! The room was very clean, and the open-air bath stayed warm all the time. I used it right after check-in and enjoyed it three times—at night, in the morning, and again later. Dinner was incredibly luxurious; apparently, the head chef is quite famous and has even produced meals for first-class flights of an airline! Each dish was carefully prepared, which left me very satisfied! Breakfast was also delicious. I definitely want to visit again!

    Neither good nor bad.

    Thank you for staying with us from August 27th to 28th. The service during check-in and dinner was excellent, but breakfast service was quite disappointing. There were no morning greetings, it was hard to hear, and there were no explanations provided. The meals for both dinner and breakfast were delicious; however, the miso soup at breakfast was difficult to eat. I stayed in a room on the second floor, but footsteps from the upper floor were very audible. The view and the open-air bath are absolutely stunning.

    Highly satisfied.

    First-time visit. The facility was very clean, and it felt like being in Kyoto even though it’s in Wakayama. There is the famous Awashima Shrine nearby, making it perfect for outings, and I was impressed by how delicious the meals were. The breakfast quality was also excellent, and of course, the Room had been renovated and was beautiful. Completely satisfied.

    Reasonably Priced Accommodation

    There are no elaborate dishes or the latest facilities, but it is a clean accommodation filled with care in every detail, giving a sense of sincere management. The onsen had a gentle water quality. Highly recommended!

    A wonderful accommodation that feels like a power spot for women!

    This time, we visited for a mother-daughter onsen getaway to create special memories! Previously, we traveled to places like Shirahama and Awaji Island, but as my mother has aged and long trips have become difficult, we decided to stay here for the first time. It’s just over an hour from home and features a natural onsen. Upon arrival, opening the entrance door revealed a lobby that was more beautiful than I had imagined. The Hina doll decorations lifted our spirits, and above all, the warm and courteous welcome from the staff heightened our expectations! What surprised us even more was when we were shown to our room. We had booked a C-type room due to last-minute availability; however, on the day of arrival, they upgraded us to a room with its own natural onsen bath! We were thrilled! From the large windows offering views of Kada Port to stylish chairs where you can relax while enjoying a big-screen TV—and most importantly—the private natural onsen bath spacious enough for two people made it an exceptional space promising ultimate relaxation. The large public bath on the 5th floor also offered stunning ocean views with plenty of openness where we could fully enjoy soaking in the hot springs. For dinner, we chose the deluxe plan that allowed us to select three main dishes. Every dish—from fatty tuna sushi and Kumano beef to sea urchin—was exquisite. The beautifully arranged kaiseki cuisine was visually delightful as well as delicious down to every last bite. Additionally, one staff member who served us provided such attentive hospitality that my mother commented how wonderful their service was. Later on, I learned this person is considered a future candidate for becoming "Wakadanna" (young master), which made me feel even more excited about this ryokan's bright future! Throughout our stay at every moment—all staff members greeted us with smiles full of hospitality—just seeing their smiles alone made me feel it was worth coming here even after returning home. This heartwarming accommodation continues leaving such impressions upon me now too. Until now when thinking about Kada—it seemed like mainly fishing-oriented or male-preferred destinations—but my perception has completely changed. Right next door stands Awashima Shrine where women can pray for health blessings; within this ryokan itself are countless thoughtful touches appealing especially towards women’s hearts: charmingly clean interiors exuding warmth alongside soothing hospitality paired perfectly alongside relaxing facilities featuring onsens plus scenic ocean views altogether making it truly empowering spot rejuvenating female guests alike feeling enriched overall during stays spent here filled gratitude overflowing immensely! Next time surely saying “I’m back!” will visit again without fail!

    Very satisfied

    We stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary. The view of the Kada sea from the room was very beautiful. The food was also delicious, especially the fresh and tender cutlassfish sashimi, which was excellent. We are considering staying again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay...!!

    Very satisfied

    We were very satisfied except that the bath in the room was not an onsen. We reserved two rooms for our group, and the bath in the room with an onsen was spacious and nice! The washbasin, washing area, and bath were each in separate rooms, so it was comfortable to wash without feeling cold. The building is clean and beautiful, and it was easy to walk around inside without slippers. The room had a sofa where you could lie down, making it spacious and relaxing. We felt hospitality in every corner and were satisfied. Thank you for taking care of us.

    Meals, water quality, room, and service Everything was satisfactory. The food, especially the fish, was delicious and plentiful. The onsen water is thick and viscous, providing long-lasting warmth. The lounge's all-you-can-drink option allows you to enjoy drinks while cooling off on the terrace with a beautiful view (especially the sunset) that is soothing. The staff were very kind, making it a satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

    Good cuisine.

    It was hectic with children, but the food was good. We were satisfied with both the quantity and quality. It's a Ryokan we would like to visit again. The Onsen water was nice, but it would be perfect if it were a bit more spacious.
