    Autumn Foliage

    The autumn leaves just started, which was wonderful. The view of Mt. Iwate from the Room was also great.

    I had a relaxing time.

    The room was spacious and comfortable. Although it was a type without an indoor bath, amenities were well-prepared, and the basket bag provided for going to the bath was convenient. It was also nice to be able to choose the size of the yukata. The facility wasn’t brand new but had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. I prefer Onsen water to be slightly hotter, so I deducted one star for that. Meals were served in a large hall, and each dish—whether warm or cold—was served at the right temperature and tasted delicious. There was no coffee in the room, but freshly brewed coffee with free refills was available in the lobby, which was great. The staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which I appreciated. Being able to settle payment before check-out was also convenient.

    Unfortunately.

    Unfortunately, it was a disappointing stay. On that day, there was a large party being held, and we had to pass by the reception area for the party to get to our room, the bathroom, and the dining area. Many party attendees in suits were gathered near the reception area, and walking past them in a yukata felt out of place and required considerable courage. Since there were rooms available that did not require passing through the party reception area, it must be said that there was a lack of consideration for guests. Additionally, even though we requested beer before dinner started, it took a long time to be served and only arrived after we made follow-up calls. Furthermore, dessert was served before one dish listed on the menu had been brought out, effectively ending dinner prematurely. Honestly speaking, there was nothing enjoyable or exciting about this experience; my wife also felt disheartened by this trip which turned out to be quite disappointing overall.

    Quite different from the photos.

    The overall condition of the facility and the room's age (such as peeling wallpaper) was noticeable. Despite being casual, there is a significant discrepancy from the photos shown. If I had known the actual state, I would not have chosen this accommodation. Satisfaction may depend on expectations. It might be suitable if you imagine something like a guesthouse or youth nature center as the facility type.

    A quiet Hotel in the mountains

    The food was delicious, and the bath had a charming atmosphere. The Room was clean and sufficient, but it would have been even better if it were slightly cleaner.

    The Onsen is excellent, and the meals are delicious.

    The Onsen uses natural spring water, so the temperature cannot be adjusted; it may feel lukewarm in the morning but hot in the evening. The Onsen's aroma can be enjoyed throughout the facility, and it's a bonus that you can use it even after check-out. Meals are delicious, and the complimentary drink service in the lobby is a nice touch. However, the toilet paper in the Room is made of recycled paper and tears easily, making it inconvenient to use; upgrading it to match at least the quality of that in the lobby restroom (which is also not very high) would be better. The toothbrush provided has a bent handle and is difficult to use. Although travel takes time, there are local buses from Morioka as well as sightseeing buses from Heights to Mount Hachimantai's summit, making it convenient for tourism.

    We had a wonderful time.

    The hospitality was excellent. All the staff provided very pleasant service. The room, meals, and bath were all outstanding. As others have reviewed, it was a wonderful accommodation. Thank you very much!

    It can't be helped...

    The Onsen is crowded with day-trip guests, making it difficult to enter. The shoe lockers are also full. Although there seems to be a time limit, some people are bathing regardless. Dinner is not buffet style, which leaves a good impression; the content is not exceptional, but the taste is not bad, and the service is good. The bath has very strong Onsen minerals, so be careful not to stay in too long. That means it's good. The Room is the worst ever... It's too cold to sleep. The futon is like a thin mat. It feels like the Showa era. In the morning, a staff member came all the way to the Room and asked, "What time will you leave? We want to clean," which was shocking.

    The service was attentive.

    The private bath and the large public bath were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious. The downside was that during the checkout time, the cleaning of the guest rooms was underway, and the hallway smelled dusty.

    The hotel here was a...

    The hotel here was amazing! We stayed as a family because we suddenly had a three-day weekend. The customer service and overall service were excellent, and we felt comfortable the entire time. The food was delicious, and the all-you-can-drink option was very appealing! The cakes available at the shop were incredibly tasty! The hot spring was slightly lukewarm and a bit chilly (though it allowed for a long soak), and the UFO catcher in the game corner seemed impossible to win (which disappointed the kids), but overall, it was fantastic. I definitely want to stay there again.
