    The food and the views were outstanding.

    The meals featured a variety of Japanese dishes centered on local seafood. Every dish was carefully prepared, and we enjoyed them very much. We stayed in a guest Room with an open-air bath. It was thoroughly cleaned and there was no smell of tobacco. The bathroom has a hinoki (cypress) bath with a pleasant aroma. There is also a door leading directly outside to the open-air bath. Outside the Room is a private garden with views of both the sea and the mountains. Although it was summer, there were no mosquitoes or other insects even at night. Because there are only a small number of guest Rooms, we were able to relax in a very calm atmosphere throughout the property. Notes: 1) Even some first-floor guest Rooms have about five steps. There are also about ten steps to reach the large public bath. Please keep this in mind if you have difficulty walking. 2) Regarding guest Rooms with an open-air bath: This will be explained by staff on the day, but the water temperature is very hot. Please check and adjust the temperature before undressing. 3) The private garden for each guest Room has a fence on the sea side, but part of it is not continuous. Beyond that point there is an approximately 3-meter slope down toward the sea. Please take extra care not to take your eyes off small children.

    Thank you for the peaceful stay and warm hospitality.

    As far as the eye could see, the sea shimmered like deep blue jade, with no one in sight. Over the early-summer blue mountains, only a single heron flew—there was nothing else moving. I felt truly happy to be able to take my time and enjoy such a quiet, beautiful view. The staff were kind and welcoming as well—this is a wonderful Accommodation. Thank you very much.

    It’s a quiet and pleasant location.

    It was quiet, and the fresh greenery around us was beautiful. It was a shame the weather wasn’t very good. The Room was spacious, the private open-air bath in the Room was very good, and we enjoyed delicious meals. The staff were friendly. The Room felt a bit old, and we were bothered by how noisy the ventilation fan was, but everything else was excellent. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

    It was absolutely wonderful!!!

    This was our first stay, and we made a Reservation for a Room with an open-air bath. We arrived an hour early, but they kindly allowed us into the Room and assisted us with great care. The food, the Onsen, and the spacious garden were all wonderful, with beautiful views—we had a truly lovely day. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    It was absolutely amazing!

    I always spend New Year's at a hotel. I had booked one in Mie Prefecture, but this accommodation became available by chance, so I immediately made a reservation. The room had an ocean view, was spacious, and kept very clean—such a great atmosphere! The onsen was also wonderful! Dinner was all about crab dishes, and breakfast included plenty of traditional New Year’s dishes. The staff were kind and everything was perfect! I truly want to stay here again next time while enjoying some golf as well! Thank you so much!

    A memorable family trip.

    During my first trip to Kumihama, I avoided the crowds and had a very relaxing time. The beach scenery was incredibly beautiful and moving. Regarding the accommodation, overall it was excellent. I chose a room with a garden where I could enjoy the beach view right in front of me, which made me very happy. The service was very kind and accommodating, especially towards foreigners and children. As for the meals, I'd rate them around 75 points. There were many varieties of dishes, and the fish was fresh; however, the main dishes of pufferfish and Tajima beef were just average, which was a bit disappointing. I hope to have another chance to visit again someday.

    Relax and unwind! The garden is beautiful too.

    We stayed for one night during Golden Week. Although listed under the casual category on IKYU.com, the accommodation felt luxurious both inside and out. Despite its age, everything was well-maintained and clean, making our stay very comfortable. The decor had a charming ambiance that we truly appreciated. From the lobby, you can see Kumiyama C.C., offering beautiful and relaxing views. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Thank you very much!

    We used a detached room with a golf package at Kumihama Country. The view of Kumihama spreading out right near the room was beautiful, and it was a precious inn that probably couldn't be built like this anymore. Being a long-established inn, it had a certain level of age, but since key areas were renovated, it didn't bother us. For dinner, we enjoyed delicious dishes such as abalone grilled on a hot plate, Tajima beef sukiyaki, sweetfish kamameshi, and simmered akara. We couldn't finish all the food, but they kindly allowed us to take it with us and even stored it for us during our golf play, which was impressive. Most of the holes on the golf course's out course were along the sea, making it a spectacular course. I'm glad we found such an inn. With this price and content, golf lovers and inn enthusiasts should definitely visit.
