This is my second stay.
This was our second stay. Our previous visit left a strong impression, and we were looking forward to coming back. The owners’ warm hospitality was just as wonderful this time, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Accommodation was kept spotless throughout, making it a relaxing place to be. The meals were excellent, and we especially enjoyed trying ingredients we rarely get to taste, such as wolf eel. This trip was also for a special anniversary, and thanks to your thoughtful kindness, it became a truly memorable stay. Thank you very much. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to see the starry sky like last time, but every sightseeing spot you recommended was fantastic, and we were able to fully experience the charm of Eastern Hokkaido. When we visit Eastern Hokkaido again, we would love to stay here again.

Stargazing Accommodation
About a 10-minute drive from Mashu Station, this Accommodation stands alone on a vast plain. From the dining room windows, we could truly feel the endless landscape of Hokkaido stretching out before us. After dinner, we went stargazing with the owner, and under clear skies there were an astonishing number of stars. They even took photos of us with the starry sky as a backdrop. It felt like a drama or movie poster and became a wonderful memory.

A soothing stay under a sky full of stars, with warm hospitality.
This was my first time staying here. I travel to various places throughout the year, but this was my first time staying at a pension. The Room was very clean, and I was able to relax with peace of mind. Most impressive of all was the starry sky—so beautiful it may have been the best I’ve ever seen, and it moved me beyond words. The snowy scenery and sunrise visible from the Room were also truly wonderful, making for a special time that will stay with me. The hospitality was excellent as well, and I felt genuinely comforted by your warm and attentive service. You also kindly suggested sightseeing Plans, which allowed me to fully enjoy the charms of Eastern Hokkaido. This stay made me fall in love with Eastern Hokkaido, and I definitely want to visit again. When I do, I would love to stay here again.

The Beauty of Tranquility
It was my first experience staying at a pension. The warm hospitality of the owner couple made it a truly happy time for someone as particular as me. The adorable cat that brought back childhood memories and the breathtaking starry sky under the starlit night changed my life—it’s no exaggeration to say so. I discovered how wonderful silence can be, which was a precious experience. Have you ever seen Saturn's rings? Have you ever seen Mercury flowing? Have you ever seen Altair and Vega across the Milky Way? You can see them all here. You can even take photos of the starry sky with your phone! The owner will guide you through everything. While weather conditions are essential, this accommodation is absolutely recommended!

Thank you for choosing Polaris. Although it was a bit cloudy before dinner, the stargazing after dinner was wonderful. It was one of the best starry skies we've seen at Polaris. We enjoyed observing various constellations, from summer to autumn ones. As winter approaches, lively winter constellations like Orion will greet you. Polaris
The warm hospitality of the owner couple was wonderful. The view from the room, the delicious meals, and the welcoming resident cats made the experience unforgettable. Every sense reminded us that we were in Hokkaido. For a brief moment when the clouds cleared, we looked up to see the Summer Triangle in the night sky. Although there is no onsen, everything else was perfect. Drawn by the name of this accommodation, we stayed here for the first time and are grateful for this encounter. It has become a place we would love to visit again. Thank you for a fantastic journey!

I would love to stay here again.
I had a pleasant stay at the Hotel surrounded by nature with excellent service. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so I couldn't see the star-filled sky, which was a bit disappointing. I thought it would feel wonderful to play the piano in such a place. Lastly, the Hotel was impeccably clean. I believe this is something that guests appreciate the most. Thank you very much.

It was a guesthouse I would love to visit again in a different season.
From the window of the pension, you can enjoy a vast meadow and distant mountains, offering a truly expansive Hokkaido experience. The room had no TV, providing a quiet and relaxing space to escape daily life. The hospitality of the owner couple was attentive, allowing for a very peaceful stay. A photo taken with the Big Dipper in the background became a wonderful keepsake. Meals made with local ingredients featured rare items that were pleasantly surprising. It was my first time trying "wolf fish," and it was quite delicious. Since my stay was on July 7th, "Tanabata decorations" had just started. I wrote my wish on a strip of paper and tied it up. This is a pension I would love to visit again in another season!

The stars were beautiful.
The weather was unexpectedly good, and despite the bright moon, the stars were beautifully visible. A small rabbit could be seen from the Room. Dinner was delicious. The cat is adorable. Thank you for everything!

It became a very good memory!
It was a very charming and homey pension with a completely different appeal from a Hotel or Ryokan! I wanted to see the starry sky, but due to lack of research, it coincided with the biggest supermoon of the year. However, I was lucky that the Atlas comet was also present, and with the owner's guidance, I was able to successfully take photos of the comet! The meals were all delicious, and they kindly provided guidance on the starry sky and sightseeing, making it a truly fulfilling experience. Next time, I definitely want to revisit in midwinter for the starry sky and Shimaenaga!

I want to visit again!
This service offers discreet and meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring a thoroughly satisfying experience. Enjoy nighttime stargazing (complete with photos of the starry sky!) and receive the latest information on your next destination to enhance your journey. There are also features such as bird feeders where you can see small birds and squirrels, and large windows offering views of deer running through the meadows. This is a guesthouse you'll want to visit again.

It was cozy and comfortable. Stargazing was enjoyable.
It stood alone in the vast grassland. During nighttime stargazing, I was able to see Saturn's rings directly through a telescope for the first time. The craters on the moon's surface were also beautifully visible. It is conveniently located as a base for visiting Lake Kussharo and Lake Mashu, and I was provided with local information. I woke up early in the morning to go to Bihoro Pass, where the sunrise and sea of clouds were beautiful. The homely atmosphere made for a wonderful memory.

We stayed in Teshika...
We stayed in Teshikaga on the first day and around Lake Akan on the second day. The food was delicious, and the attentive service allowed us to spend a very pleasant time in a comfortable space. There were discreetly placed toys in the bath that made children want to play. Thank you for everything.
