    Dinner time

    If you plan to book with dinner, please note that the only available dinner times are 18:00 or 18:30. I didn’t check carefully enough, but when I arrived after 17:00, I was asked for the first time then, “Dinner is at 18:00 or 18:30—what would you like?” If you check in late, you may end up having dinner without taking a bath first. If, like me, you want to relax in the Onsen before dinner, please be aware of this. I stayed in a mountain-side Room, and the floor is bare concrete. Footwear is provided, but it’s better to bring your own slippers. The air conditioner is old and noisy. There is no bath in the Room. The Onsen Facility and meals are average. In the evening there are many local regulars at the Onsen Facility. Their parking manners are poor, so even after arriving it can be hard to see the signage clearly. Overall, I did not have a good impression.

    It was amazing!

    Everything was excellent, from the service to the Facility and meals. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away. The Room was clean. The Onsen was also great. I would like to stay again next year.

    I was able to relax and take my time.

    The Room was S-1, and we had a beautiful ocean view. It was spacious, with a terrace and garden, and the bedroom on the second floor made it feel very relaxing. The bathroom was also large, with a sauna, cold plunge bath, and open-air bath, so we could unwind. Dinner and breakfast were delicious as well. Before check-in, we went to a nearby beach—it was wide, with clear water and clean sand, and we really enjoyed it. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    My spouse and I stayed here during a motorcycle touring trip. The building has a stylish design, and the Onsen was excellent. The flowers displayed throughout the property were lovely. Dinner was served as a set meal, and we enjoyed it with drinks, so the portions were more than enough. The sashimi and tempura were delicious. All of the staff were very kind, and we had a truly comfortable stay.

    Dinner

    Given the naturally rich surroundings, it may be unavoidable, but when I took a bath in the morning, I was a bit surprised to find a centipede submerged in the bathtub. I also felt dinner could have had a bit more volume. If it’s not enough, I guess you can eat something extra in your Room, so it’s not really an issue. For those who are sensitive to insects... Overall, I was able to relax and take it easy. The staff were kind and courteous as well. Thank you for taking care of us.

    I hope this will be helpful for couples planning a trip...

    We stayed in a sea-side maisonette Room... First of all, it is described as recommended for couples, but I cannot recommend it. The walls are thin, and you can clearly hear the neighboring guests’ voices, footsteps, and other noises.... There is a shower in the Room, but it is very small. I also confirmed this by phone, and was told the shower was spacious, so it was disappointing... It may be suitable for a large group of friends or for families, but it is not suitable for couples at all. However, the food was very delicious. The restaurant staff provided good service as well, so that part alone deserves a high rating.

    What does fully accessible rooms mean?

    Used with a family member in a wheelchair. Chose this accommodation with confidence as all rooms were advertised as barrier-free, but the Japanese-style Room M1 we used had stairs to reach it and a step of about 70 cm at the entrance, which caused difficulties. The step was not shown in the room photos either. It raises questions about what is considered "barrier-free" for all rooms. Additionally, the futon provided was uncomfortably thin and did not allow for restful sleep. This stay turned out to be disappointing after a long time. I felt that the information disregarded users who are conscious of accessibility needs. On a positive note, the large public bath was lovely, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious.

    A Tranquil Accommodation

    The room faced the mountains, but the serene view from the terrace was incredibly refreshing. The blue sky and the surrounding fields created a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The seaside bath offered a stunning ocean view, making it hard to leave. Starting the BBQ fire felt nostalgic, like going back to childhood, and was quite enjoyable. The dinner BBQ was so plentiful that I couldn’t even finish my rice. Breakfast was delicious as well, and I ended up having seconds of rice! It was a very satisfying stay overall, but there are a few things that could be improved: Since I wanted to visit the bath multiple times, it would have been nice to have hooks for drying bath towels. I also wished there had been an outlet near the mirror in the room for using a hairdryer while looking in the mirror. As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I would prefer cheese fondue made with milk instead of wine—it might also be easier for children to enjoy this way. Having a fan available when starting up the charcoal would make lighting it quicker and easier. Still, it was such an enjoyable trip that I’d love to stay at this accommodation again when visiting Tango!

    Warm your body in the hot springs and your heart with comfort.

    A chilly weekday in March. Due to a sudden cold, my companion couldn't join, and it turned into a solo trip. The guest room felt spacious with its high ceiling, and the stove warmed up my chilled body. The provided samue and outerwear were stylishly designed. The Onsen facility was also spacious, with soft water that provided great warmth. Although I didn't use the mini kitchen this time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay next time and cook lunch myself. The shop next to the front desk had ingredients suitable for self-catering as well.
