    A Pension in the Forest

    I found that only one Room was available the day before, so I made a Reservation. Even though accommodation rates have skyrocketed, the price was reasonable and all the meals were excellent. I’ll definitely come again!! Thank you very much.

    It felt like an Acco...

    It felt like an Accommodation in a grand Western-style mansion. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. The Room is on the small side, but it was more than enough for two children, two adults, and one dog. There was none of the typical odor you sometimes find at dog-friendly Accommodations, and everything is kept very clean. As other Reviews mention, the meals tasted like they came from a high-end restaurant, and we were impressed from start to finish. The appetizers made the most of the ingredients’ natural flavors while still offering a carefully crafted depth, and the two pasta dishes were outstanding! The meat and desserts were truly delicious. I think it’s an Accommodation that offers more than its price suggests.

    We had a relaxing stay with our dog. Thank you very much. Since the use of dog diapers is strictly enforced, the Room was very clean and we were able to stay comfortably. The meals were also delicious, and we truly enjoyed them.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed here with my husband and our dog. The owner is a true dog lover, and our dog was able to relax and feel at ease. The Accommodation was very clean, thoroughly well maintained down to every corner, which made our stay very comfortable. And most of all, the bath was a wonderful surprise! The open-air bath was fantastic. Since we were the only guests this time, we could enjoy it at our preferred times and soak in peace—it felt like a real luxury. Dinner was Italian cuisine: appetizers, two pasta dishes, Nasu beef, and dessert. Everything was truly delicious. For breakfast we could choose between pizza muffins and French toast, but we wanted both so we ordered both and shared. The French toast in particular was outstanding! We had a relaxing and enjoyable time with our dog, making it a very satisfying one-night trip. We would love to visit again.

    The Italian dinner is amazing!

    The food was outstanding. Two types of pasta were served, and the main dish was a Nasu beef steak. The wine was offered at reasonable prices. For breakfast, my wife had French toast (Western-style), and I had grilled salmon with simmered beef (Japanese-style). The rice was delicious. The bath was spacious, with an open-air bath as well, and two or three people can relax in it at the same time. The water temperature was perfect! I ended up using it three times. The dog run is small for a Corgi—more suitable for small dogs. It’s a very stylish building, and we’d love to visit again.

    This is my second stay.

    This was our second stay, following our visit last November. This time, we stayed with my sister-in-law and her husband who were visiting from Nagasaki. Everyone was very satisfied with the delicious food, the newly renovated Onsen, and the warm hospitality of the owner. We’ll be back again.

    This is a small Hotel where you can relax and enjoy your stay with your beloved dog.

    This was our first stay at a petit Hotel with our dog. I expected more of a pension-style place, but true to the name “petit Hotel,” the exterior was beautiful, the property felt very clean, and the food was excellent. They also offer in-Room alcohol service. Dinner started with a vegetable-filled appetizer, followed by two kinds of pasta and a steak—quality well beyond the price, and we were truly impressed. For breakfast we had their popular French toast; it was fluffy, not overly sweet, and absolutely delicious. Tomato soup, drinks, yogurt, and fruit were self-serve with free refills, and the service—including the setup—was outstanding. During meals, our dog and all the other dogs were very quiet, so we could relax and enjoy our food. Afterward we were able to interact with other dogs in a friendly atmosphere while keeping a comfortable distance—it was such a lovely time! The Room itself felt like being at home and comes with a unit bath. It does feel slightly dated, but it’s clean. Even though they were fully booked, it was extremely quiet—we couldn’t hear any barking from other Rooms at all. Since dogs are not allowed on the beds or sofa, there were no odors that concerned us. The private bath can be reserved at check-in; both the open-air bath and indoor bath are stone-built—beautiful and very relaxing. The slot is 40 minutes long, so be careful not to take too long! Located in a quiet forested villa area, we enjoyed fresh air and green walking paths while strolling with our dog among azaleas and many other flowers. We also loved the well-maintained garden and dog run—it truly refreshed us from the heart.

    Stay in Nasu for One Night with Your Beloved Dog

    We searched online for a place to visit before the end of the year. When we arrived in Nasu, it was cold with light snow falling, but we felt relieved upon reaching the Hotel. We were allowed to check in a little early. The exterior and interior of the living area were charming, with a lovely Christmas tree and fireplace adding to the atmosphere. The highlight was the Italian course meal, which was elaborate and delicious. Breakfast was also very filling. The owner-mama was friendly, and apart from our family, all other guests seemed to be repeat visitors. Our dog felt at ease and ate its usual meals without any issues. The open-air bath with Onsen water became our favorite spot; we used it multiple times during our stay. However, it took some time to get used to how cold the changing room and room toilet were. We would love to return during a more pleasant season! Thank you for your hospitality!

    Found a wonderful place.

    Despite the low price on the weekend, my expectations were exceeded. This is an accommodation I definitely want to revisit! The room was incredibly clean, hard to believe it's 30 years old. When I saw the carpet, I thought I might suffer from house dust tonight, but to my surprise—no symptoms at all! The food was delicious, and the owner was friendly and easy to talk to. I've found a wonderful and homey accommodation!

    First Trip with Your Dog

    We had the pleasure of staying at this accommodation for a long-awaited trip with our beloved dog. The clean and well-maintained facilities, room amenities, and dog supplies made our stay completely comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the meals and the bath were absolutely exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious. The bath included a spacious open-air onsen, which could be reserved by time slots for each guest, allowing us to relax fully without sharing with others. There was also a dog run right in front of the accommodation, which was a first-time experience for our dog but brought so much joy as they ran around happily. The surrounding area is quiet and offers an excellent environment overall. For those planning to visit, we highly recommend this place! Our first trip with our dog created wonderful memories. Though it was a short stay, thank you very much for taking care of us!

    I will become a repeat guest!

    We used this accommodation for the first time for my wife's 60th birthday trip. The atmosphere was very homey, and we quickly became friendly with other guests staying there. The meals were delicious. While the facility is old, it was clean, and the onsen was especially wonderful. Most of the other guests were repeat visitors, so we look forward to joining them as regulars!

    We created wonderful memories.

    We recently got a puppy and were looking for pet-friendly accommodation when we found this hotel. The exterior, interior, and furnishings were all lovely, the food was delicious, and the quality of the onsen water was excellent—we loved it. The owner was kind and attentive to every detail, allowing us to enjoy a very comfortable stay. Our puppy also had a great time interacting with other dogs at the dog run and dining area, creating wonderful memories despite being a little nervous. Thank you very much!

    Both the meals and the Onsen were satisfying. However, while dinner was very delicious, the portion was too large, and I couldn't finish it. A slightly smaller portion might be better.

    A wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed at the accommodation for the first time as a couple with our beloved dog (Yorkshire Terrier). The facility was impeccably clean, and the room we stayed in had no noticeable stains or trash on the carpet or sofa, no pet odors, and was very clean and comfortable. The meals we were looking forward to were absolutely delicious for both dinner and breakfast, leaving us completely satisfied. The onsen bath (including an open-air bath) requires a reservation for each room, allowing us to enjoy it privately without sharing with other guests. It was such a wonderful bath! The owner kindly interacted with us and was very friendly towards our dog as well—a truly great person. We had such an amazing experience this time that we would love to stay here again!

    A boutique Hotel you'll want to visit again and again

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with my husband, daughter, and our Schnauzer. The dinner was Italian, refined with excellent ingredients and seasoning. Even the side dish potatoes were meticulously prepared, reflecting the sincerity and dedication of the owner and chef. The wine selection was also impressive. The Hotel was dog-friendly yet completely odor-free, impeccably clean in every corner, allowing us to have a very comfortable stay. We would love to visit again!

    This was my first visit. The Room and bath were clean and comfortable. The food was to my liking, and I was more than full. I was also able to interact with the dogs, and I am very satisfied!

    I was able to relax.

    It was a lovely pension with a kind owner who was also friendly to dogs. I would like to visit again when I go to Nasu. Since I couldn't leave the dog alone in the room, the private time for the Onsen was limited to 20 minutes per person, which was a bit hectic and unfortunate. The meals were very delicious.
