    It was nice that this small Accommodation was quiet and peaceful. The Onsen had a gentle sulfur scent and natural mineral deposits, which felt good for the skin. Meals were served in a private dining room, so we could relax without worrying about others.

    We’re doing our best.

    The all-you-can-drink sake and wine in the lobby was much appreciated. I was surprised by the noise from the neighboring building (it seemed to be under construction). The vibrations from the noise had damaged the toilet interior. The food was okay.

    A lovely atmosphere

    The property has a relaxed atmosphere, and the Facility is explained with great care. Two tasting coins per person—sake and wine! A wonderful service. Dinner was served in a private room, with attentive explanations, and we were very satisfied as dish after dish featured seasonal ingredients. They are also very particular about their ceramics. There was coffee service in the morning as well, which made for a truly relaxing stay. As for the bath, the indoor bath has no window, so it feels a bit enclosed. Other than that, since we chose it on IKYU, there’s no doubt about it.

    Fukushima is highly recommended during cherry blossom season.

    This was my first visit to Dake Onsen. The Accommodation looks like a small, old building from the outside, but the interior has a modern feel. In the lounge, we were served matcha as a welcome drink and given coins that could be used for two complimentary drinks (sake or wine). The Room with an open-air bath was wonderful, and the water was excellent. Above all, dinner was elaborate and everything was delicious. It looked beautiful, and the ingredients were surprisingly high quality for a mountain area—like a course meal at a modern Japanese restaurant in Tokyo. Breakfast consisted of simple local dishes made with regional ingredients; it also had a comforting warmth and was very enjoyable. We had requested Shuttle Service as well, and on the way back they took us via Sakurazaka and Kagami-ga-ike Pond before dropping us off at Kasumi Castle Ruins, which made us very happy. Just as we had hoped, we were able to see many beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom in Fukushima.

    An Accommodation Close to Your Ideal

    The Room’s open-air bath was incredibly spacious—number one of all I’ve experienced! Not only the size, but the acidic cloudy hot spring water was also wonderful. The elaborate dishes made with plenty of seasonal local ingredients were absolutely delicious.

    Warm waters and soothing hospitality

    I stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The welcome drink was authentic matcha paired with a traditional sweet, tamayokan, which brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood. I was deeply impressed by the thoughtful hospitality. The interior of the Ryokan has a charming Showa retro style, featuring stained glass windows and tatami-lined hallways that add to its unique atmosphere. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious, with perfect timing for serving each dish. The Onsen had milky white water that was warm and soothing. Although the bath felt slightly small for our group of five, we enjoyed it together, sharing stories while relaxing in the Onsen. This Ryokan has a cozy and homely atmosphere that made my stay very comfortable. I am extremely satisfied!

    Changed to a room with an open-air Onsen. The room was spacious, and I felt it was too much for just one person. The Onsen was also large, allowing me to stretch my legs and relax comfortably.

    The private open-air bath in the room is excellent.

    We stayed here to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. Thank you for preparing the cake and traditional red vest. The private open-air bath attached to the room was especially amazing. However, I found it a bit difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower in the room's bath, so it would be even better if that could be improved. Overall, it was a highly satisfying and wonderful accommodation.

    It was very good.

    I stayed for the first time. The building from the Taisho era has a charm and I was able to relax very much. The service was good and I want to visit again. The food was great and we, in our 60s, were very satisfied. The hot water was also strongly acidic and enjoyable. The downside was that the Room was cold and it would have been nice to have a knee blanket. Also, I couldn't adjust the temperature of the hot water myself. The toilet was also cold, so please provide heating. I will visit again.

    I enjoyed a relaxing...

    I enjoyed a relaxing and leisurely bath in the spacious open-air Onsen where Yunohana danced. The meals were considerate of a Multiple Night Stay, and I was delighted by the rich Onsen eggs and local sake tasting available in the lounge, making it a blissful stay that satisfied both body and soul. The smiles and attentive service of all the staff were also wonderful. I would love to visit again on a Milky Day.
