  Thank you for visiting us again following your stay in June. We are truly grateful and delighted that you continue to visit us despite living several hours away. Although you usually stay during seasons other than winter, this time you decided to make a reservation in December because the forecast predicted mild temperatures with no snow concerns. Thankfully, the forecast was accurate, and it turned out to be a calm winter in the mountains with pleasant weather. Interestingly, it started snowing the day after your departure—perhaps a testament to your good fortune! At our accommodation, we strive to use seasonal vegetables and ingredients as much as possible for our dinner menu so that guests can enjoy the flavors of each season through our dishes. You have visited Shinshu many times now, but Nagano is a prefecture full of charm with its seasonal natural beauty and delicious local produce. We hope each visit brings new discoveries and enjoyment for you both. We look forward to welcoming you again on a convenient date and meeting you once more. As 2025 approaches in just a few days, please take care of yourselves and have a wonderful New Year ahead! Thank you very much for staying with us this time as well!

  Health comes first!

  Thank you for your hospitality yesterday. It was wonderful to see you again this year after such a long time. As always, I truly enjoyed our conversation and appreciate the delightful time spent together. I hope you managed to visit the dentist today as planned. Despite your husband's health not being at its best, I am always grateful for the delicious meals you both provide each time. Your warm and thoughtful care never fails to impress me. Though our conversations often revolve around health matters, they are still enjoyable moments that I cherish! I sincerely hope that both of you will continue running Miroir with great energy, so please take good care of yourselves! Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

  Thank you for staying with us again this year. We were delighted to meet you both after a year and enjoyed sharing conversations, especially about health, which gave us a sense of reassurance that we are not alone. It was truly a pleasant time together. We were concerned about your car's condition, but we are relieved to hear that you made it home safely. We deeply appreciate your visits over the years since your younger days. When we first opened, our accommodation had nine rooms, but over time, we have renovated and reduced the number of guest rooms gradually. To ensure our guests can relax comfortably in their rooms, we expanded the room sizes and now have three rooms available. Knowing this long history of changes makes us feel closer to you both and allows for enjoyable conversations every time you visit. As we've all reached an age where health becomes a priority, please take care during this season of lingering summer heat and changing weather conditions to stay well. We look forward to seeing you again soon! By the way, I haven’t visited the dentist yet but plan to go in the near future.
