    The meals were excellent.

    Dinner was very satisfying in both quality and quantity. The way the dishes were served—mixing Japanese and Western styles—kept things interesting and showed thoughtful variety. The live shellfish Plan was fun because you could choose the shellfish yourself, and I thought it was a great idea. Aside from the meals, I personally feel that improving hospitality* and the Facility areas other than the Room and dining area would further increase overall satisfaction. *Having guests’ shoes prepared at checkout (I took mine out of the shoe cabinet myself and lined them up). *Sharing seasonal local tips would be appreciated (e.g., “There’s a temple X minutes by car from the Accommodation where hydrangeas are at their best right now.”) All baths were private, but the bath in my Room was the cleanest and felt open and relaxing, which I really liked. Choosing a Room with an open-air bath was definitely the right decision.

    After the festival a...

    After the festival at Shima Spain Village, I was able to refresh and recover from the fatigue with delicious food and a wonderful bath, so I could take on day two feeling energized! I’d love to come back again for a relaxing stay.

    A Pleasant Accommodation

    We were very satisfied with our stay at this wonderful, comfortable Accommodation. Our Room had a private open-air bath, and during our 1-night, 2-day stay we used it about five times. Every dish was delicious—I think I gained about 2 kg by the time we left. The Room was kept very clean and felt great to relax in. The staff were also very kind and helpful. We would love to visit again next time.

    Relax and unwind

    The Onsen is excellent, and it’s very relaxing. The staff are incredibly warm, and the food is delicious! At night, the sky was full of stars—wonderful! Since the sea is nearby, it’s also nice to go see the sunrise in the morning. We were happy to have complimentary pudding and a late-night snack as well! The fridge had two bottles of water, one can of beer, and one juice, and there was also a coffee maker and tea bags. However, we drink quite a lot of water, so it wasn’t enough for us. Since there are no convenience stores or vending machines within walking distance, you’ll need to plan ahead.

    The food is also excellent.

    It was a very relaxing trip, and we were able to take our time. The Onsen in the Room was on the hotter side, so it took a little time before we could get in, but it felt great. It’s an Accommodation we’d like to visit again with our children. Thank you very much.

    The Onsen is excellent.

    This was my first time staying here. Disappointing points No one greeted us on arrival, there was no guidance to our Room, and there was of course no send-off after checkout. I understood that this may be the Hotel’s policy, but I was surprised that even elderly guests who had difficulty putting on their shoes were not offered any assistance. Is the Hotel severely understaffed? Good points The Room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The in-room Onsen was pleasant, and I used it many times. The amenities were sufficient. The view from this Room was not good at all. Although this Hotel is near the sea, it is located below a seawall, so you cannot see the ocean. The meals featured plenty of seafood and were delicious. The dining area being a calm private room was also nice.

    A Relaxing New Year’s Stay

    The front desk and serving staff were not bad, but I felt there was a lack of explanation. At the front desk, I understood the explanation about ordering drinks via QR code, but I would have appreciated an additional explanation that live shellfish orders needed to be entered separately from the course menu. As for the serving staff, there was very little explanation about our dishes at first, so we had no idea what was happening with our live shellfish order. My daughter became frustrated and ended up speaking in a strong tone—our apologies for that. However, since starting dinner late wasn’t our request but rather something suggested by the accommodation side, it would have been nice if they could have taken their time to explain the dishes and confirm our live shellfish order without rushing. Also, the room was cold. Even when we turned up the heating temperature, there was no floor heating so our feet were freezing cold. As a result, we frequently ended up soaking our feet in the onsen bath in the room just to warm them up. It would have been great if there had at least been a kotatsu in the living area. Additionally, even though we dined in a private room at mealtime, it wasn’t heated beforehand—we had to find and turn on the air conditioner ourselves. Because of this delay with heating, it felt very cold during the first half of dinner. At minimum, please ensure that private dining rooms are pre-heated before guests enter. That said, we enjoyed a peaceful New Year’s stay with wonderful onsen facilities and delicious food including live shellfish dishes—thank you very much!

    A great place to stay.

    There were several private open-air Onsen baths. The Onsen was pleasant, but although it was supposed to be free-flowing, the water wasn't flowing. The meals were delicious! You could choose shellfish to grill, and there were seafood dishes including Ise lobster. Desserts and late-night snacks were served in the room. Meals were served in a private dining room, allowing for a relaxed experience. One of the room doors was difficult to open on one side. If the flooring had underfloor heating, it would have been perfect; in winter, a small rug would be nice to have. Although I don't drink much and drinks are available in the lobby, there was only one can of beer in the fridge. With few rooms available, it felt spacious and relaxing. The food was excellent and satisfying! The atmosphere was also lovely.

    Both the meals and the bath are excellent.

    We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but we were warmly welcomed with a smile. The room had an open-air bath, which we could use anytime. We also enjoyed the private bath when it was available, hopping between baths. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, making it a pleasant experience. Dinner featured plenty of fresh seafood, and we could choose our favorite shellfish to be cooked for us—it was absolutely delicious. There were also dishes like fried oysters, spiny lobster, and meat dishes; everything was so tasty that we left completely satisfied. Breakfast included clay pot rice and various small side dishes. Grilling fish ourselves added to the fun and made it even more enjoyable and delicious. There were also complimentary services like rice balls for a late-night snack and pudding for dessert. The hostess had a wonderful smile, and all the staff provided excellent service that allowed us to relax fully during our stay. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again!

    It was a stay to celebrate the 60th birthday.

    I have stayed at accommodations from this group several times, but this was my first time here. The room was spacious, and with an open-air bath included, I was able to relax very comfortably. As it is an accommodation by the seaside, the seafood dishes were indeed delicious! When I mentioned it was a celebration for a 60th birthday, they kindly prepared a special plate and even provided a red vest—thank you so much. The casual and friendly hospitality matched well with the atmosphere of the accommodation. However, one disappointment was that when I tried to order from the wine list, most of the white wines were out of stock. Since seafood pairs well with white wine, it would be great if there could be more options available in that category. Oh, by the way, there seemed to be a wide variety of sake available, including local ones from within the prefecture. If I have another opportunity in the future, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

    Quite disappointing

    This was the first time I wanted to leave the room as soon as I entered. The meals were excellent, but other services left much to be desired. Despite having an open-air bath in the room, bath towels were on an exchange system (only one thin towel was provided), making it difficult to use towels comfortably. Although the room is said to accommodate up to four people, the bathtub was very small—barely enough for two adults and not spacious enough for both to soak up to their shoulders at the same time. The private bath also showed signs of age and lack of maintenance, offering no sense of exclusivity or special experience. Instead of adding rubber ducks, it would have been better if they focused on cleanliness. Regarding the refrigerator service mentioned in reviews, it was empty upon check-in. When we asked at reception, they admitted they "forgot" and handed us one portion (despite there being two guests). After pointing this out again, we finally received another portion. There were only about four groups staying that day including us. Is reception staffed by part-timers? From a safety perspective alone, it's essential for accommodations to keep track of their guests each day. Additionally, yukatas still had cleaning tags attached with staples—something unexpected from an accommodation that isn’t particularly cheap. While the room itself was clean and we tried our best to overlook these issues, unfortunately, I cannot say I’d want to return again.

    The Room was spacious and stylish, with a comfortable bed. We were delighted that the five private baths could be used anytime if available. The meal portions were just right, and we thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, taste, and tableware—extremely satisfying! The fried oysters were especially amazing! The dried fish grilled over charcoal at breakfast was also delicious. We had a quiet and relaxing stay and are grateful to have discovered Neboya. It was a wonderful trip.

    The Onsen is clean with soft water, and the meals are excellent.

    The room was designed to feel like home, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The meals were luxurious and delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. Being able to soak in the Onsen first thing in the morning is truly blissful. It was such a wonderful experience that we would love to come back again.

    It was great.

    I stayed at an Onsen Ryokan in the Ise area while searching for a good accommodation. Our family's priorities are: ① Meals, ② Onsen, ③ Room. First, the meals were delicious. The fish served at dinner was especially fresh and well-prepared with just the right seasoning. The dried fish served at breakfast was also very tasty. As for the Onsen, I didn't have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised in a good way. It might have been a carbonated spring because I kept sweating even after getting out of the bath—it was quite an experience! I'm delighted to have found such a great Onsen. The room seemed to be part of an older building that had been renovated, making it comfortable and well-maintained. Both the front desk area and inside the room were kept very clean throughout our stay. However, from our room, we couldn't enjoy any scenic views like Ise Bay—perhaps some rooms offer better views? Also, there didn’t seem to be an elevator available; please confirm this if needed. Lastly, we received kind and heartfelt service from all staff members which made our stay truly pleasant—thank you so much! If given another opportunity, I'd love to visit again!

    The meals were particularly excellent. Visually appealing, with beautiful tableware and appetizing presentation, the taste was also delicious. The private open-air bath in the guest room was clean and wonderful as well. I would love to stay at this accommodation again if I have the chance.

    Open-air Onsen Room

    A quiet ryokan in the countryside with no ocean view, possibly only on the first floor. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, but there was no WiFi connection. The food was very delicious, and I think the chef has great taste. If they improve the tableware and cost ratio, it might become a high-end cuisine ryokan. There seemed to be a shortage of staff, but it felt like a traditional Japanese ryokan. The open-air bath in the room was very pleasant, and you can see stars; however, the fence gaps are wide and could be dangerous. I got too absorbed in stargazing from the open-air bath and fell through one of these gaps, breaking my shoulder (my own fault). However, I did feel that their response to this incident lacked attentiveness.

    I understand that my size is larger than average, but I was informed from the beginning that there were no sizes available to fit me. If that's the case, why not prepare for such situations? On trips, I sometimes encounter accommodations without suitable sizes, so I bring my own samue. However, considering this is not an inexpensive accommodation, it was disappointing. Additionally, while the food was delicious, I had been looking forward to seafood given the location in Shima; unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations.

    Newly Renovated Stays Near Completion

    There is a Stays located where you turn off at Koga-guchi from National Route 260 heading from Ugata to Goza, descend the mountain, and reach the coast. The access road and parking lot are spacious and well-maintained, but some parts of the exterior and interior of the Property are unfinished. The private open-air bath is under construction and cannot be used. The Room is new, clean, and has a modern design. The TV is large, and the air conditioning works well. The washroom and toilet are spacious enough. Since the coast is protected by a high seawall, the sea can only be seen from some Rooms on the second floor. If you don't thoroughly research and Complete the Reservation, you might end up with a view of the back yard of the Stays and the vacant lot next door. There are various thoughtful touches in the hospitality, but it left an impression of a "clumsiness" typical of a guesthouse. The two private baths with free-flowing water were previously large baths for men and women, respectively, and are spacious enough for several people to enter together. The system is that if they are available without a Reservation, you can lock the door and use them. Meals are served at a clean, spacious private table that is hard to imagine was once a renovated banquet hall. Conversations of other guests can be heard as the transoms are open. The dishes are served sequentially. (Possibly during the construction period only?) The drink bar offers all-you-can-drink alcohol. The cuisine is indeed delicious seafood from the sea area. It is fresh and intricately prepared. It is quiet at night. Breakfast is served at the same table, with grilled fish and a hot pot of yudofu lined up.

    The room was very clean, and the Onsen in the private open-air bath was also sourced directly from the spring, making my body feel warm and it was very nice. The customer service was also excellent, and the food was very delicious. Thank you very much. I will visit again.

    It was unfortunate.

    The reviews were good, and I had high expectations because it was a natural onsen, but the onsen itself was very disappointing. There were multiple private baths, but only two were available due to construction, though I wasn't concerned because there was a bath in the room. Nevertheless, I decided to try the private bath right after check-in. Unfortunately, the chlorine smell was very strong, and even after bathing, the smell lingered on my hands, which was unpleasant. (I didn't use the private bath again, so I'm not sure if the smell weakened over time.) When I used the room's bath after dinner, it was very pleasant (without the chlorine smell), and I was satisfied. However, the next morning, the water was too lukewarm to use, and even by 9 AM after breakfast, the water was still lukewarm, so I gave up on using it before departure. The meals were delicious and satisfying, but there were too many negative points about the onsen, which was very disappointing. Additionally, I received a 2,000 yen service voucher to use within the facility at check-in, but the souvenir corner only had two types of bottled items and some spices, which was also disappointing.
