We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast.
The food was absolutely delicious! The colorful presentation, small side dishes, and beautiful plates made dinner time truly enjoyable. In particular, I was very satisfied with the Japanese-style meat and potato stew sold at the shop as well, the whole simmered golden eye snapper, and the sashimi.

Celebrating My Father’s Birthday
We stayed with our grandchildren to celebrate my father’s 91st birthday. There were five of us, so my father and the grandchildren stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and we stayed in a different Room. My father was very satisfied. The only concern was that the bath on the 4th floor is accessible only by stairs, which was a bit difficult for my elderly father. What worried us was that our Room’s refrigerator contained partially eaten food—possibly left by a previous guest—which surprised us and made us question whether cleaning was being done properly. The staff were friendly overall, which was nice.

This is our third time staying here, and it was a very enjoyable trip.
The food was delicious—nothing to complain about. This is an Accommodation you’ll want to visit again and again. The bath in the Room was also excellent.

The food is amazing.
The food was simply outstanding. We fully enjoyed a variety of seafood, including spiny lobster, abalone, and golden eye snapper.

A small accommodation with vibrant and delicious cuisine.
Spent the New Year holidays in a room with an open-air bath. The dishes were more beautifully presented than expected, allowing us to fully enjoy the festive New Year's atmosphere. Additionally, the rooftop private open-air bath, which is usually closed from night to early morning, was open all night. We were able to enjoy all four private open-air baths except for the paid ones. The room with a Taisho-era romantic feel was charming and pleasant; however, it would have been even better if it had been slightly larger to provide more closet space for an even more satisfying stay.

An ordinary accommodation in every aspect.
I stayed in the most expensive room, "Kurashin," but the floorboards were old and dirty, the water flow was weak, and the faucet was wobbly. It was just a room with an open-air bath. The food was disappointing as well; despite being located by the sea near a fishing port in Uchibo, the portion of sashimi from their specialty "Sudate Mori" was too small. I came all the way to Chiba hoping to enjoy more seafood dishes. The only dish I found satisfying was the simmered golden-eye snapper. There are five private open-air baths available; although they are not Onsen, they were spacious and enjoyable. Overall, it is an ordinary accommodation without any standout features. For a price of just under 60,000 yen for two people, there wasn’t much that felt worth it.

The second stay was just as wonderful.
The staff who welcomed us, the staff carrying luggage, the staff we just passed by, and the dining staff were all wonderful. This place is highly rated in Reviews for its meals, but it would be great if more people knew about how amazing the staff are. The meals were as delicious and beautifully presented as last time. The open-air bath in our Room was also very relaxing to enjoy.

The accommodation, food, and staff are all wonderful.
I often stay at Ryokans and Hotels, and the cuisine here was exceptional, with flavors that impressed me and beautifully seasonal presentations. I stayed in the Taisho Kokoro room with an open-air bath, and the Room was excellent. The staff explained the meals carefully and had wonderful smiles. The other guests (especially many couples) also created a calm and lovely atmosphere. I would love to visit again when the seasons change!

Accommodation where you can enjoy Onsen and meals in a retro atmosphere
This accommodation offers a true onsen experience with relaxing baths and delicious meals. The facilities and rooms are well-maintained, providing a calm atmosphere without excessive extravagance. Private baths, except for paid ones, do not require reservations. Even if your preferred bath is occupied, the limited number of rooms ensures that another bath will be available. Enjoy soaking at your own pace while exploring different baths—a unique way to enjoy this accommodation. The open-air bath in the room provides a sense of freedom and is very comfortable to use. Meals are satisfying in both taste and quantity, with thoughtful presentation and attention to detail reflecting the hospitality of the accommodation. The staff provided courteous service with warm smiles throughout our stay, for which we are deeply grateful.
