    We were completely s...

    We were completely satisfied with both the Room and the meals. The meal for our dog was also a feast, making this a truly happy trip. We would definitely love to stay again.

    Stay with your beloved Shiba Inu.

    The hospitality, especially the care for dogs, was delightful. The meals were very delicious, but the portions were a bit small. The atmosphere of the building and the Facility were great, but it was disappointing that yukata (pajamas) were not provided.

    A charming and pet-friendly guesthouse perfect for your furry friends.

    This is our third visit. A wonderful and dog-friendly pension. The dog run is very spacious and offers a great sense of openness. All the staff provide excellent service, making our stay very pleasant. The meals were incredibly delicious and satisfying. Seeing our beloved dog happily enjoy the "Wan-burg" meal brought a smile to our faces.

    Dog-friendly

    I stayed at the accommodation with my toy poodle. After a long journey, we immediately enjoyed running around in the spacious dog run, which was about the size of 2-3 tennis courts. Although my dog didn’t use it, there was also a pool for dogs. My dog quickly did his business, and I was impressed to find poop bags provided along with a foot-washing station and towels—everything was perfectly prepared. Near the human bath area, there was a washing station for dogs equipped with shampoo, towels, and even a dryer for dogs—it was amazing! For dinner, we enjoyed sitting at the same table while my dog had a special plate (hamburger steak, chicken breast, edamame beans, sweet potato) for just 400 yen—so affordable! My dog also got to try yogurt (complimentary) for the first time and seemed to enjoy it very much. The food for humans was delicious as well. The fresh sashimi stood out as particularly tasty. I had heard from friends that accommodations allowing pets often have an unpleasant smell; however, this place must be thoroughly cleaned because I didn’t notice any odor at all. Even my husband with his sharp sense of smell approved! The room’s interior design had playful touches here and there that made it interesting. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos—please visit yourself to see how wonderful it is!

    Thank you for staying with us again.

    This is my second stay. Thank you for accommodating the change to the originally reserved course. The staff were very kind and treated our dog with great care. The food was delicious and everything was wonderful. I will visit again.

    It was a very good Property.

    I found this site and made a reservation. We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean and well-prepared, the bath was spacious and relaxing, the meals were beautifully presented, delicious, and plentiful. The dog run was spacious, with everything needed for feeding and caring for dogs. There were also many comic books available, showing consideration to ensure enjoyment even on rainy days. Our whole family is talking about how we want to stay again. The property staff treated us with wonderful smiles, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

    Stayed with a 13-yea...

    Stayed with a 13-year-old Miniature Schnauzer. We were able to spend time together in the room, the food was very delicious, and the staff were kind, making our stay truly comfortable. I would like to stay again.

    As per the review, it was a very lovely property.

    I don't usually write reviews, but this property was so wonderful that I wanted to share it with many people. I brought my 5-month-old toy poodle. At first, he was a bit nervous in the new place, but he seemed happy as he was greeted warmly during check-in and meals. Everyone welcomed us warmly, making it a homely and comfortable property. I made the reservation after seeing reviews praising the food, and indeed, everything was delicious and wonderful! From sashimi to meat, it was all very satisfying! I was also happy to have a lot of fresh vegetables for breakfast. We chose a Hollywood twin room, and I liked its chic and calm atmosphere. There was no smell at all, and I felt that it was always kept clean. I was also pleased with the variety of shampoos available in the bathroom. Before checking out, we used the dog run. As the reviews mentioned, it was well-maintained, and my beloved dog ran around happily and safely. We made more wonderful memories with our beloved dog. It's a lovely property that both the dog and the owner would want to visit again.

    A Stays where dogs can have fun and humans can relax.

    The room is spacious with a living area, and the meals include local sashimi. The vast dog run allows dogs that are not comfortable in groups to play in a separated space, making it the best cost-performance among the dog-friendly Stays we have visited. Everything for dogs is provided, so you can travel with less luggage. Humans can also relax, so many people take their time in the bath alone. On the day we stayed, there was no free time, so we waited in front of the front desk and hurriedly took a bath before breakfast. I thought it would be reassuring if a private time for each room could be set for the bath.

    Surprised by the excellent maintenance!

    It was our first time at "Kotobuki Base" with my wife and our two Yorkies, a three-year-old girl and a one-year-five-month-old boy. It was just as everyone said in the reviews. It was our first time staying at a pension with our children, and it was a pleasant surprise. Everything was so clean. From the exterior to the reception, room, bath, restaurant, and the vast dog run... Especially, I was really surprised at how well-maintained such a large dog run was!!! Our two children had a blast exploring every corner of that vast dog run for two days straight. Haha. We've visited various places, but sometimes there are leftover treats or even lost items? Is it the owners forgetting to pick them up?... There are various concerns in places where we can't keep an eye on them, but at "Kotobuki Base," there was no need to worry!!! The maintenance was top-notch! We were truly satisfied. You can tell by how the kids were in the car on the way home! We went straight home without any breaks... Haha. It's really a pension with a lot of passion from the owner. From the music flowing in the background to the radio talk shows, it was like time traveling to America. The meals were incredibly creative. Especially the different sauces for each dish are a must-see... You won't understand until you experience it! We were able to relax and take it easy. Thank you very much. We look forward to visiting again. Next time, we want to try the pool... Please give our regards to the owner... That's what our two dogs said.

    Good Pension

    The meals were abundant, the spacious dog run was delightful, and the location offered excellent access to tourist attractions. There are numerous pet-friendly shops in the vicinity, and the staff were all very friendly, making for a highly satisfying experience.

    It was the best trip.

    This was my first visit. The staff were very kind, and the room, meals, and hot springs were all excellent. The dog run was spacious, and my dog seemed to enjoy running around. It was very comfortable, and I would love to come back if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    Comfortable for both dogs and people.

    The dog run and the bath allowed us to relax as if we were at home. The variety of dishes for dinner and breakfast were something we couldn't replicate at home. The taste was also very good.
