    A Simple Accommodation

    While it is not lavishly decorated, this Accommodation offers a comfortable stay where you can truly relax without feeling self-conscious. The meals have a local, regional style, and the fish is exceptionally delicious. Since we were traveling as two women, the portions felt a little large for us. The Hotel staff were all kind and pleasant.

    The sunsets are truly beautiful, and the location is one of a kind. The building is about 30 years old, but it was very clean and well maintained.

    The Room was spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The meals were also delicious. I was satisfied with the Hotel amenities and in-room facilities. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    The seafood barbecue was delicious.

    Warm and friendly hospitality made for a relaxing stay. The grilled seafood, including turban shells cooked over a net, was served hot and tasted amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes to our heart's content.

    Near Gonoura Port, spacious Room!

    The location near the port (and relatively well-lit area) was very reassuring, especially since I was cycling around the island. The island gets quite dark after sunset, which can feel a bit unsettling for those unfamiliar with it. It’s also conveniently accessible for early morning ferry departures! There are restaurants about 1 kilometer away, which I used this time, but next time I’d like to try the meal options offered here.

    The meals are delicious.

    The most impressive part was the delicious food. The sashimi, grilled fish, and steamed oysters were all excellent, and even the mirin-dried fish for breakfast was tender and flavorful, allowing us to fully enjoy Iki's local ingredients. Although there was no open-air bath, the indoor bath had warm water that felt great. From our Room, we could see ships coming in and out of the port, giving us a sense of the harbor town atmosphere. The chairs and table provided were very convenient for us as we are not used to traditional Japanese-style rooms. The staff treated us kindly, making our stay enjoyable. Thank you very much!

    The cuisine is excellent.

    We decided to visit Iki Island with our family. For dinner, we wanted to try various local restaurants on the island, so the business plan was perfect for us. Although we had a multiple night stay, the breakfast menu was changed, and we enjoyed delicious meals on both days. The fish was incredibly tasty. The miso soup was so good that we had seconds. The room was renovated and clean. We were delighted with the service of Iki's manju and mineral water. The water-related facilities were old but cleaned well. It would have been better if it wasn't a unit bath. If the water facilities were renovated, it would be even better. The large public bath was not crowded this season, so we could use it comfortably and were satisfied. On the first night, the bathwater seemed a bit cooler. I thought it might feel a bit cramped if more people came. Next time, I would like to stay in a newly renovated, spacious room. We enjoyed fishing all around and caught a lot of squid. Iki Island is rich in nature, a self-sufficient island where we enjoyed seafood and Iki beef. The location of the View Hotel was also good. It's a hotel we want to visit again.
