    Highly satisfied

This was my first stay here. The Room was spacious, and I was very satisfied to be able to relax in the Onsen. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay here again.

Both breakfast and dinner were a bit strongly seasoned, but very delicious. The in-person service was cheerful and friendly with great smiles, so it was disappointing that the phone response when making the Reservation sounded like a new staff member, with awkward wording and a gloomy tone. The Room had a fun atmosphere for children and plenty of toys, which was wonderful.

A small, tranquil Accommodation with six rooms per floor.

As the Accommodation strongly emphasizes families with children, we chose the top-floor “Bento in Your Room” Plan for our trip as a couple. After enjoying a draft beer in the lounge after our bath, we returned to our Room to find a bento (more than enough for us) already delivered, allowing us to relax and enjoy dinner at our own pace. Since we travel often, buffets can feel like too much food or a hassle to go back and forth for, so this kind of in-room dining is wonderfully calming. The Room is beautifully appointed and feels very elegant. That said, with the sunken kotatsu-style seating area and the futons already laid out, we ended up dozing off without meaning to. We had been looking forward to the late-night soba served with the chef’s signature dashi broth, but before we knew it it was past midnight and even the baths were closed—such a waste! Still, that just shows how comfortable we felt. With only a small number of guest rooms, both the baths and lounge were very comfortable to use. The washing area in the bath has tatami flooring, which seems safer even if children get excited and slip. We didn’t use it ourselves, but there is also a private family bath that should be great for families—though there appeared to be only about six Reservation slots available, so it may be competitive. We were also pleased with amenities like the ReFa shower head and Dyson hair dryer (which we use at home and know is excellent). We truly enjoyed everything that makes an Accommodation of this size special. The staff are well trained as well, making our stay very pleasant. We would love to visit again for another relaxing getaway.

The bento box contained greasy food and felt like a home-style dinner. There was no coffee to enjoy in the morning, so I felt it might be better not to stay alone as an older woman. I think this Ryokan is a good choice for staying with grandchildren.

    The meals were disappointing.

There were lots of toys and facilities that a 3–4-year-old girl could enjoy, so we had a great time. The foreign staff provided good service with smiles, but the Japanese staff were expressionless and gave a gloomy impression. The drink service and late-night soba were also nice.\n\nUnfortunately, breakfast was disappointing: the only hot item was miso soup with crab, and there was nothing suitable to feed a child. Unlike other Onsen Ryokan, this place is mostly families with children, so if you don’t want to put much effort into it, you could outsource it and offer a bread-based menu—adding yogurt or fruit would have made kids happy. The food (rice) wasn’t tasty either.

    Perfect for families with children.

We stayed as a family of four: a couple, our daughter, and our 3-year-old grandchild. On the first floor there was a slide, and there were also toys on the mezzanine level, so our child quickly became absorbed in playing. For adults, there was an all-you-can-drink selection of alcohol and soft drinks (my husband said the draft Super Dry was very delicious and drank quite a lot). Nearby was an automatic pancake machine that easily made kid-sized pancakes. There was honey in a real wooden box, and we enjoyed dipping the pancakes in it—so tasty. There were also various picture books and toys in the hallway outside our Room, so our child could keep playing without getting bored. We were able to use a private bath and relax while bathing. Meals were served in semi-private dining spaces, and since many guests had children, we could spend time comfortably without worrying even if our child cried. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind and welcoming. We made wonderful memories—thank you very much.

The duck bath was worth the Reservation.

We stayed here for our eldest daughter's first Onsen trip. The children had a great time with pancakes, private baths, and the in-house quiz. We requested Room dining, but since the menu was designed for adults, there were few items suitable for sharing with the kids. It would be nice to have more kid-friendly dishes available. Thank you to all the foreign staff members for being so kind!

The weekdays were not crowded, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were delicious and very filling. The staff serving the food were attentive and considerate, which was greatly appreciated. However, the hallway felt chilly, and since the kids' room on the 4th floor is located in a similar area, it was also cold. Additionally, the duvet cover came off easily, which was inconvenient.

A Memory to Last a Lifetime

We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my mother-in-law's 88th birthday and my husband's 60th birthday. The staff provided attentive service, creating an unforgettable lifetime memory for us. We were amazed by the welcome board, rental of celebratory red vests, and even a festive banner prepared for us. We hope to visit again someday. Thank you so much!

It was a hectic stay with a one-year-old.

I stayed with my son's family who live in Kyoto. My grandchild was so excited and noisy, waking up several times during the night. Despite being exhausted, he was just excited without knowing what he wanted to do. He never entered the large tent in the room, perhaps because he was scared. There were toys similar to those he plays with at the children's center, which he seemed to like very much, playing with them repeatedly. We didn't request meals due to allergies, but he enjoyed eating some of the adult meals and the baby food we brought. I learned for the first time that this place is related to Juen in Wakura Onsen. During the Noto Peninsula earthquake, they accepted evacuees as a shelter, and as someone from Noto, I am deeply grateful. Thank you very much. If I have another opportunity, I would like to visit again. Thank you.

I was attracted by the fact that it was a Miki House certified Welcome Baby accommodation and the dinosaur room, so I stayed there. However, the toys in the kids' space were not impressive, and while I could tell they put effort into renovating the dinosaur room, the air conditioning was not working well. They did prepare another room for us, but I thought if they had told us at the time of booking, I would have considered another room.
