  Thank you very much!

  This is a Ryokan I had wanted to stay at for a long time, and it exceeded my expectations. Beautiful fresh flowers throughout, truly delicious cuisine, an impressive hinoki bath, and kind staff—just to name a few. It is an elegant Ryokan with pet-friendly Rooms; we traveled with our Miniature Schnauzer, who tends to be quite wary, but he didn’t bark at all and we enjoyed a calm overnight stay.

  When visiting Kurashiki

  I always use this place when visiting Kurashiki. It's helpful since I have a dog. This time, it was my first Room as the Reservation was made from the waiting list. I noticed a small gap in the window that concerned me slightly. The meals are undoubtedly delicious. Also, I like the atmosphere of the young proprietress. It's quiet and relaxing here. I will use this place again!

  Traditional Ryokan

  Thank you for your hospitality. Service: Thank you to the young hostess for her kind and attentive service. Facility: The lock was a bit difficult to use, but it's understandable given the Showa-era building. Cuisine: It was a trial plan, but the portions were sufficient, delicious, and satisfying. Bath: The ventilation seemed inadequate. However, the large hinoki bath was satisfying. Overall: Although I stayed alone, I was able to experience an escape from reality and felt like I was returning to the countryside. I believe maintaining this building is challenging, but I hope it will be preserved for future generations.

  The Japanese Inn

  A rare inn that continues to uphold the good old traditions in modern Japan, where efficiency is prioritized. The meals evoke nostalgia and emotion with authentic Japanese kaiseki, reflecting the head chef's dedication in every detail. The dishes, including the tableware, exude a silvery glow. Given the challenging location for building maintenance, I sense that management must be tough, but I can only pray for its enduring presence.
