    While there are area...

    While there are areas for improvement—such as outdated Facility features, long elevator wait times, a washer-dryer that is not very effective (laundry dries faster when hung outside), and long waits for breakfast—we were able to enjoy the pool until late at night, the food was delicious, the Room was spacious, and it was a fun and fulfilling resort stay.

    Unfortunately.

    I was surprised that the parking fee and the large public bath both cost extra. I should have checked at the time of Reservation, but this was my first time experiencing a Hotel like this. Breakfast was also disappointing—the same menu for three days. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair stiff and rough. It was a disappointing three days.

    We stayed for three nights at Whale Watch and Junglira.

    Hope for sunny weather during your stay! With a bath and a jacuzzi, we fully enjoyed Okinawa in winter. Some guests took their breakfast in a doggy bag to enjoy at the beach or on the golf course, and we appreciated the flexible service.

    The free Shimauta live performance was a luxurious treat.

    I checked in in the evening, and as I was heading to my Room with lively music coming from the poolside, there was a live performance by an artist from Okinawa! It was a truly wonderful time. The Room was also spacious enough, and I especially liked that the amenity hairbrush was sturdy and well made. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

    The Facility is old,...

    The Facility is old, but it is well-cleaned and comfortable. The staff includes many foreign employees who are very friendly, making the stay pleasant. However, communication may take some time with certain staff members, so increasing the number of Japanese employees would be appreciated.

    Overall satisfied.

    I stayed for three nights this time. The price was more affordable compared to other hotels, and I was satisfied with the quality at this cost. For dinner, we had barbecue on one night, and French cuisine and grilled meat at the neighboring Exes on the other two nights. I also enjoyed using the spa services. Additionally, I fully enjoyed marine sports for two days. Since the accommodation cost was reasonable, I could spend more on meals and leisure activities, which made me very satisfied. I would love to stay here again!

    Best value for money!

    I stayed for three nights. Although the room was not specified, I was assigned an ocean-view room. It was the farthest from the elevator but being a corner room, it had two windows making it bright, and probably the largest balcony. The room was spacious even with four beds and both the room and bathroom were renovated and clean. Bed-making service wasn’t provided unless staying for four nights or more, with only trash collection done, but since I used my own bedding, it didn’t bother me much. Breakfast was included, and I used the dinner buffet twice; however, most of the dishes were almost identical over three days which was a bit disappointing though they tasted good. The pool is large but felt more like a warm bath rather than a pool; we only used it once during daytime and once at night. Onsen access required an additional fee but I enjoyed both forest-view and ocean-view Onsens—watching sunsets at Ocean Onsen and morning baths in Forest Onsen’s open-air bath exceeded my expectations as I didn’t think I'd experience an Onsen in Okinawa! Overall, my children also had fun so we were very satisfied. *The photo is from the dinner buffet. *Children's pajamas were available only in 100 cm size. *There were no towels provided for washing your body.

    Is it really a Resort Hotel?

    Stayed in "Superior Twin Oceanfront / 4th-6th Floor (Twin) × 1 Room with Dinner and Breakfast" as a family of three. ■ Room Dark and outdated. ■ Meals Both dinner and breakfast were very disappointing, making this the top hotel I would never stay at again. The adult dinner price is 5,300 yen per person, but the content feels worth only about 1,500 yen. You'd be much more satisfied dining at a family restaurant instead. Even breakfast at business hotels like APA offers significantly higher quality. This seems excessively overpriced. ■ Public Bath The bathing hours are short, and the facilities lack refinement, failing to provide an extraordinary experience.

    Full of resort vibes

    This Hotel offers a full resort experience. The Facility feels a bit dated, but it is spacious and provides a relaxing atmosphere.

    Guests with tattoos are allowed in the bathhouse and pool.

    The Hotel itself was good, but I felt uncomfortable as there were many guests with tattoos in the large public bath and pool. Although the bath is supposed to prohibit tattoos, it was disappointing that no staff members addressed this issue.

    The room and breakfast were excellent. The view from the room, especially the sunset, was beautiful. Breakfast tends to get crowded before 8 AM, so we went around 7:20 AM and entered without waiting. During our two-night stay, the dishes varied slightly each day, and despite the number of guests, it wasn’t overly crowded. The food was so delicious that I wanted to try everything on offer. The tables were spacious with plenty of seating arrangements, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed meal. However, as we left the venue later on, there was already a line forming outside. Depending on the time you go, it might take some time to get in; however, for those in a hurry or wanting a more relaxed experience, lunch packs were available. What disappointed me was that the large public bath required an additional fee and that you couldn’t return to your room wearing loungewear or slippers from there. Although our room was cool during this hot season, perhaps due to its open structure design inside the hotel building itself felt warm—making it uncomfortable having to dress up and wear outdoor shoes just to return after bathing. On a positive note though—the glass-making experience was fantastic! The staff taught us very patiently and even with their "do-it-yourself" course option I managed something truly satisfying! With discount tickets available too—it turned out both affordable yet incredibly enjoyable! Thank you very much!

    The breakfast area can get crowded, which may be disappointing.

    After staying at this accommodation for the first time in over 10 years, I found it to be reasonably renovated and did not feel much of its age, allowing for a comfortable stay. The cost-performance was good and I was generally satisfied, but the breakfast venue was extremely crowded. I opted for takeout, which reduced the enjoyment of the buffet experience. Perhaps measures such as increasing venues or implementing a time-slot system could be considered?

    We had a wonderful time.

    The Hotel is relatively old, so the building itself shows some age. However, the Room we stayed in, which had two toilets and two bathrooms, offered an absolutely stunning panoramic ocean view! Enjoying drinks on the balcony while watching the sunset was pure bliss. The meals were not overly luxurious but each dish was genuinely delicious and satisfying! One slightly disappointing aspect was the smell in the breakfast buffet area and the dirty windows overlooking the courtyard, which dampened our mood a bit during breakfast. On a positive note, the pool was very clean, and our kids were absolutely delighted!

    A Hotel Popular Among Locals, Offering Good Value for the Price

    Stayed with kids during Golden Week! The open atrium at the entrance, accessed by climbing up from the beach, is reminiscent of hotels built during Japan's affluent bubble era. There are quite a few similar hotels in Onna Village (Renaissance, Sunmarina, Moon Beach, Rizzan Sea-Park, etc.). Renaissance and Sunmarina cater to the luxury market (recently Moon Beach as well?), while Rizzan and this Kariyushi Hotel are more budget-friendly. It seems that lunch buffets and pool day-use options are available here, attracting many locals alongside staying guests. There also appeared to be relatively few foreign visitors. As a hotel from the bubble era, its facilities are exceptionally luxurious. The pools include two impressive outdoor ones as well as an indoor pool. While it seems they aim for affordability and openness to locals too, charging extra fees for public baths or offering cheap amenities and restaurant options felt like a missed opportunity to me. Within Kariyushi Resort itself, there are four accommodations: this one along with EXES, Oriental (formerly Marriott), and LCH. In terms of ranking: EXES (luxury for couples), Oriental (luxury for families), LCH (beach entry-level). This hotel has such grand facilities but feels underwhelming due to its budget approach—what a waste!

    You can relax and unwind.

    The majority of guests were families, so the atmosphere was relaxed and casual. There are plenty of shopping options, and it's convenient to buy souvenirs at the Hotel and have them shipped. The staff at the Hotel, breakfast venue, and shops were all very kind. The amenities were impressive, from a high-quality comb to toothbrushes, and I was thrilled that the shampoo products were from L'Occitane. The breakfast venue gets crowded with families, so I recommend going early. Although there are many parking spaces available, they fill up quickly due to the number of guests. Once you leave your spot, it can be difficult to find parking again upon return; many people opted to walk outside instead. Parking was the only major issue—it was tough climbing back up that hill!

    Good value for money and reasonably satisfying.

    Overall, it was a cost-effective and satisfactory Hotel. Although the building is old, it was clean and well-maintained. The Facility is large with spacious interiors, but the access routes to the paid public bath and pool are inconvenient, so bringing beach sandals would be helpful. There is no swimsuit dryer or plastic bags available at the pool area. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and was delicious. It was disappointing that there was an additional parking fee.

    Photo Wedding

    We used the service for our photo wedding this time. On the day of the photo wedding, we were very grateful to have the hair and makeup artist come to our Room. Thanks to you, we were able to take a wonderful photo wedding and create the best memories! There are many attractive dining places around the Hotel, and I would like to stay again when I come back!

    About the cleaning of the Hotel

    I stayed during the New Year holidays. There were two stains on the sheets of one bed. I thought it was dirty, so I used the bedding from the extra bed. Please make sure to check properly. There were not enough power outlets, which made charging difficult. The countdown event was very good.

    We had a great time with our grandchildren. The Room was spacious with four beds, and it was comfortable with a separate bath and toilet. It was disappointing that the breakfast buffet had almost the same menu for two consecutive days.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    The sea was fully visible, and since it was a room with a new bathroom, I had a pleasant stay. It would have been nice if we had been informed in advance that swimming was prohibited from that day, even though we could go to the beach by private bus.

    Both dinner and breakfast were too attractive...!

    In a word, I'm glad I chose this place! The pool offers free towel rentals and you can use it even before check-in. It's wonderful. The meals, especially dinner, were so impressive that I lost count of how many times I went back for more... The menu is attractive, the food is delicious, and the desserts are perfect. With no time limits, the value for money is amazing. I'm very satisfied. I didn't know this before, but it seems there's a Plan that allows you to take a helicopter from the airport, which I'd like to try someday with my friends who have kids. It takes just about 20 minutes compared to over an hour by car. You can return to the airport by limousine bus, which I thought was wonderful! Looking forward to visiting again!

    I stayed for four ni...

    I stayed for four nights at the Ocean Tower with an ocean view and a plan that included breakfast and dinner. The weather was great, and the view from the room was wonderful. The facility is old, but it has been nicely renovated. However, it was disappointing that there was only one outlet by the bedside, but I solved this by borrowing a three-way adapter from the front desk. The in-room Wi-Fi was problem-free and comfortable. The plan included breakfast and dinner, and it was helpful that we could choose any time between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM for dinner. Many hotels specify dinner times. Without time restrictions, I ended up overeating at the buffet every day. I thought the food was good, but if the plan wasn't included, it seemed like it would cost 5,000 yen per person, so I probably wouldn't have used it. For dinner, we could choose between a buffet and BBQ. The hot spring was not included in the plan, so I didn't use it as it required an additional fee. I rated it one star because it was a paid service for guests. There was a live performance every night in September, and it was a very satisfying four days.
