    Having only one key is inconvenient.

    I stayed at the accommodation without bringing a dog. There was a sudden barking sound in the lobby that surprised me, but the room was quiet and comfortable. The entire view of Mount Yufu from the room was wonderful. (I thought Mount Yufu looked too large when viewed from Yufuin Station.) The bath had a warm changing room, but the bathroom itself was cold. It was too cold to use the open-air bath. However, the hot spring water was excellent. There was only one key for the room, and since it also served as a power switch for electricity in the room, it became very inconvenient if someone stayed behind in the room as you couldn’t take it out with you. (Someone staying behind fell asleep and didn’t hear knocking on the door, which caused trouble.) Also, whether it’s due to hotel management or a municipal system I’m not sure, but music played outside at 6 AM which startled me.

    The previous guest...

    This was my second visit. The food and service seemed better during my previous stay. The buffet offers a variety of dishes, but the beef in the hot pot was a bit tough. The sashimi is excellent, and the sushi is also good. It would be nice to have more lightly seasoned options available. I was surprised that I had to purchase poop bags separately. It would be great if there were more supplies like paw cream, poop bags, and pet sheets provided. Looking forward to improvements on my next visit!
