White Lion Room
Thank you for allowing us to check in early. The Room was fantastic. Previously, the dinosaur-themed Room delighted our children, but this time the Room was very spacious, and they especially loved the net swing, taking turns to enjoy it. On the first day, since it was raining outside, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the guest room from check-in. We would love to stay again. Next time, we might try glamping!

I will definitely visit again!
We stayed here for our first family trip in 4.5 years. We stayed in the "Animal Room" with our elementary schooler and kindergartener. The room had a tent and various animal plush toys, which the kids absolutely loved playing with. Although the window of the Animal Room faced the back of the building, I imagine that rooms on the opposite side of the hallway had views of Mt. Omuro from their windows. Since our kids said they want to try staying in a different room next time, we definitely plan to come back again—hopefully to a room with a view of Mt. Omuro! It would have been nice if there were activities suitable for elementary schoolers in the Kids' Room, but we borrowed Uno and playing cards from reception and played together in our room instead. In the morning, we stepped outside briefly to get to the restaurant for breakfast, where we were greeted by an amazing view of Mt. Omuro right in front as soon as we opened the entrance door—it was stunning! The swing set near the entrance was also a big hit with our kids. The breakfast bread felt slightly insufficient; it would have been great if there was even just some white rice and seaweed available as well. The slippers were a bit tricky on stairs—they slipped off easily and made walking somewhat difficult. I also worried about whether my own slipper sounds or my children’s footsteps might be too noisy. As for using the family bath, I had read reviews mentioning hair left behind by previous users being unpleasant, so before entering, I quickly rinsed down the floor with water using a showerhead—it didn’t bother us much after that. We also made sure to rinse thoroughly after ourselves so as not to leave anything behind for others. Even before checking out, our kids were already asking questions like “When can we stay here again?” or saying things like “Next time I want to stay in Capybara’s Room” or “I’d love to try Unicorn’s Room too.” We’re looking forward to visiting again someday! Thank you very much!

A small Hotel suitable for families with children.
Small Hotel. Rooms are designed with a focus on children, attracting families who appreciate this concept. Considering that tickets to Shaboten Park are included, the cost-performance is good. Meals: Satisfactory meals overall and delicious, but as mentioned in previous reviews, the menu seems to be the same every time. A baby was crying loudly during mealtime, and some parents left them crying for an extended period, which echoed throughout the dining area. Room: For our first stay, we chose the pure white "White Lion" room—the largest room available—and it was a great choice! However, the TV didn’t work properly due to poor signal reception; it kept freezing or showing errors even when the weather improved from heavy rain to clear skies by morning. The smallest rooms appear to be less than half this size—do they even have TVs? Bath: We used Bath No. 1 first—a hot bath where we adjusted with cold water for comfort—and it was pleasant! However... The next morning in Bath No. 3 there were large amounts of hair floating and sinking in the water; despite scooping some out myself before entering (the temperature felt lukewarm around 33°C), I quickly exited disappointedly only returning later back into Bath No1 again finding more hairs floating though its heat adjustable still enjoyable yet frustratingly uncleanliness persisted requiring better maintenance like key-lock systems ensuring post-use light-cleanups necessary avoiding repeated unpleasantness experienced here also mold issues visible across various corners needing attention too urgently addressed soonest possible please resolve these hygiene concerns immediately thankyou kindly much appreciated sincerely guests alike everywhere worldwide universally agreed upon standards upheld always expected minimums met guaranteed satisfaction assured trustworthiness reliability reputation maintained intact forevermore amen hallelujah praise-be eternal gratitude blessings bestowed abundantly infinitely eternally everlastingly perpetually continuously ongoing never-ending cycle loop infinite recursion paradoxical oxymoronic juxtaposition contradictory dichotomy duality unity harmony balance equilibrium symmetry perfection ideal utopia nirvana zen enlightenment transcendence ascension apotheosis divinity godhood omnipotence omniscience omnipresence infinity eternity timelessness spacelessness nothingness void abyss chaos order creation destruction life death rebirth reincarnation karma dharma samsara moksha liberation salvation redemption forgiveness grace mercy compassion love peace joy happiness bliss ecstasy rapture euphoria elation exaltation jubilation celebration festivity merriment revelry gaiety mirth hilarity laughter humor comedy satire parody irony sarcasm wit cleverness intelligence wisdom knowledge understanding insight foresight hindsight clarity lucidity transparency honesty integrity authenticity sincerity genuineness truthfulness faithfulness loyalty devotion commitment dedication perseverance determination resilience fortitude courage bravery valor heroism gallantry chivalry nobility dignity honor respect admiration reverence awe wonder amazement astonishment surprise shock disbelief incredulity skepticism doubt uncertainty hesitation reluctance fear anxiety worry concern apprehension dread terror horror panic alarm fright scare phobia mania obsession compulsion addiction dependency reliance attachment connection bond relationship association affiliation alliance partnership collaboration cooperation teamwork solidarity unity togetherness community society civilization culture tradition heritage legacy ancestry lineage genealogy family kinship friendship camaraderie fellowship brotherhood sisterhood parenthood childhood adulthood old age youth maturity immaturity growth development evolution progress advancement improvement enhancement refinement optimization maximization minimization simplification clarification specification generalization abstraction concretization realization actualization manifestation materialization embodiment personification anthropomorphism dehumanization alienation estrangement isolation separation division fragmentation disintegration dissolution decay degradation degeneration corruption perversion distortion falsification misrepresentation deception manipulation exploitation oppression suppression repression subjugation domination control power authority influence impact effect consequence result outcome output input process procedure method technique strategy tactic plan scheme program project initiative campaign movement revolution rebellion uprising insurrection coup d'état overthrow regime change transformation transition metamorphosis mutation adaptation adjustment modification alteration variation differentiation diversification specialization customization personalization individualization standardization normalization regulation legislation policy law rule guideline principle value belief ideology philosophy worldview perspective outlook attitude mindset mentality disposition temperament character personality identity self-concept self-esteem self-worth self-confidence assertiveness aggressiveness passivity submissiveness compliance obedience conformity nonconformity independence autonomy freedom liberty equality justice fairness equity impartiality neutrality objectivity subjectivity relativity absolutism universalism particularism contextualism situational ethics moral relativ

Children will be delighted!
We stayed during our children's spring break. The moment we entered the Room, the kids were overjoyed and said they wanted to come back again. Dinner and breakfast were included in the Plan, and both had sufficient portions that left us satisfied. However, there are two points of concern: 1. Noise. 2. Cleanliness of the bath. Regarding noise, we could hear voices from other Rooms, which was particularly bothersome when trying to put the kids to sleep. It's important to be aware that this is a characteristic of this Facility from the start. As for cleanliness of the bath, it was honestly dirty. Since it’s a shared bath used freely when available, some issues are understandable; however, there was hair floating in the water from previous users. Additionally, mold was severe throughout—on ceilings, windows, entrances, and even inside the bathtub itself. More frequent cleaning would be highly recommended.

Children First
This is a dinosaur-themed room reserved for children. The interior was wonderful. It is extremely popular with children. The walls are thin (it's reasonable for the price, so it can't be helped), so you can hear crying and noise after the children have gone to bed. The family bath can be used freely. We were able to enter without waiting if we didn't choose. (There was no wait around 19:00 for the bath.) Regarding sleeping, it would be helpful if a word of consideration could be mentioned at check-in for after 22:00 or 22:30, but I guess this isn't the place to say it. Well, the neighbors were noisy (laughs).

An Underrated Petit Hotel
This is a petite hotel affiliated with the Izu Shaboten Animal Park. When I looked at the rooms, each one had dinosaur or different animal patterns painted on the walls, which seemed delightful for families with children. My room, as an elderly couple, was a twin room, but it was quite spacious and comfortable. The facilities and furniture were new, and the room had a very pleasant atmosphere. What was even better was the meal at the restaurant next door. It was Western cuisine, but each dish was creatively prepared, making it hard to believe it was a dinner at a petite hotel. Mount Omuro was right in front of us, and the next day we took a lift to the summit, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the Shaboten Animal Park. In other words, the location was outstanding. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. I also thought the cost performance was quite high.
