It was okay.
With many international guests visiting, it was good to see that some staff members were also from overseas and provided attentive service. However, the in-Room coffee seems to be intended to be ground from beans, but perhaps the grinder was not working properly—it took a long time and my hand started to hurt. Please consider improving the way it is provided. Also, while the draft beer service in the post-bath area is a nice touch, the glass is so small that even after multiple pours it ends up being mostly foam. It felt as if you did not want guests to drink much, which came across negatively. If you cannot switch to a taller, slimmer glass, it may be better to discontinue this service. One more minor point: the shape of the container for the mozuku appetizer at dinner was not very practical. I tried to finish all of the marinade without leaving any behind, but I couldn’t because of the container design.

The Room is far from the bathroom.
We stayed in the Luxury Suite as a family of four. The Ryokan slippers were a bit hard and uncomfortable to wear. Other than the distance and cold walk from the Room to the large public bath, everything was excellent. The rental yukata and hair accessories were lovely. On snowy days, we recommend avoiding the Yamanami Highway. We are grateful for the front desk's kind advice on the best route home.

It was very comfortable.
The room, large public bath, private bath, and meals were all well-prepared, allowing for a very comfortable stay. I was surprised by the drink service in the room's refrigerator and the lounge. The majestic view of Mount Yufu from the room, restaurant, and open-air bath is etched in my memory. If I have another opportunity to stay in Yufuin, I will use Saigakukan.

A bit disappointing...
I stayed in the Premium Suite, but there were many ants in the Japanese-style Room, so one Room was unusable despite choosing a spacious one. The food might not be suitable for those who easily get indigestion. The lighter dishes were delicious.
