    Shiroishi-Zaō

    I stayed here with the Zao Snow Monsters package in Shiroishi-Zao. The hot spring was excellent and very refreshing. The meals were very generous, and I ended up leaving a lot. I would like an option with smaller portions.

    I stayed at the accommodation!

    The accommodation experience was very good as a trip! Thank you for your hospitality! Regarding the amenities, which I rated 2 stars, they were honestly not sufficient. Personal issues include: - The hairdryer had very weak airflow (both in the bath area and in the room). - Bath towels and body towels were only replaced once. - For the onsen showers for guests, no water came out at all when someone else was using it (there was no issue with the public bath available for day-use). I believe these three points are problematic for an onsen accommodation that promotes its hot springs. The good point was the food! It was very delicious and visually appealing!

    Luxurious Multiple Night Stay

    I stayed at Sanjiro in Togatta Onsen for two nights. The newly renovated Japanese-Western style room from this April was spacious at 45 square meters, providing great satisfaction. I was also impressed by the hospitality of the Ryokan staff. The staff member who guided us was very polite, and even the front desk staff remembered our faces, which I found remarkable. While the first dinner wasn't particularly outstanding, the following three meals were delicately seasoned and truly impressive. It seems they only had Japanese-style rooms before, but renovating to include Japanese-Western style rooms was a fantastic decision. I thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen and was able to relax at the foot of Mount Zao thanks to this wonderful experience.

    Onsen and meals are exceptional.

    Upon arrival, the male staff member warmly welcomed us, which made us very happy. The Onsen left me amazed with how it made my skin feel smooth and moisturized. I have visited many Onsens before, but this one is truly exceptional. The meals were delightful not only in taste but also in presentation. Every dish was delicious, and the panna cotta was so good that I wanted another serving. At breakfast, despite arriving at the last minute, we were kindly served tea as promised. Thank you for your thoughtfulness—it was thoroughly enjoyed. The complimentary sparkling wine and chocolates after bathing were a lovely touch. I would love to visit again!

    We stayed for the fi...

    We stayed for the first time as a family. The large public bath also serves as a day-use onsen, so it was crowded in the evening, but after the day-use onsen ended, only guests could enter, allowing for a very relaxing experience, almost like having it all to ourselves. In the evening, there is a separate bath for guests, which is less crowded. The meals were also very delicious and carefully prepared, and the whole family was satisfied. We would like to use it again.
