    The staff’s hospitality was excellent and made our stay very pleasant.

    Perhaps because our Room was a “shame Room,” we were disappointed that the view from the window was blocked by a building wall, and the atmosphere around the window felt a bit different from the photos. However, all of the staff were pleasant and made us feel comfortable, even those from overseas, especially during meals. We also enjoyed the food. It would have been nice to have coffee available in the lounge.

    A quiet Accommodation where you can enjoy Futami

    Choosing this Accommodation for a visit to Futami Okitama Shrine was the right decision. The shrine is only a 7–8 minute leisurely walk along the seaside, so I was able to visit twice during my stay. Dinner was very satisfying in both menu and portion size. Since it was served in a private room, I felt completely relaxed. Breakfast was also excellent, especially the overnight-dried pufferfish. From the Room, I enjoyed a wonderful view of the sea stretching out beyond the pine trees. It is a lovely Accommodation founded in the Meiji era and still continuing into the Reiwa era. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    A Charming Traditional Accommodation

    I was able to relax at this historic Accommodation, but after dinner the beer brought to my Room was lukewarm. When I asked for a replacement, a staff member said something like it had become warm because it had been left in the Room. Then I was given another lukewarm beer, so I ended up drinking it anyway. I mentioned this at checkout, but it was a very disappointing experience.

    - The meals were tasty overall, but both at breakfast and dinner the white rice and tea were not good. In particular, the dinner rice tasted like it had been kept warm in a rice cooker for a long time, which was very disappointing. - The changing room in the bath area had been renovated and was clean, but I felt concerned about hygiene because there was debris floating in the tub and drain flies were flying around. For some reason there were two types of hair conditioner among the amenities; I thought it would have been better to provide facial cleanser instead. - There were renovated areas and non-renovated areas throughout the Facility, which gave an unbalanced impression. The furnishings also felt like a mix of Japanese and Western styles with no sense of unity. - The staff were kind, and especially the person who assisted us provided very pleasant service that made us feel comfortable. Thank you very much.

    Charming Accommodation by the Seaside

    A serene and tranquil atmosphere by the seaside provided a refreshing escape and a much-needed moment of relaxation. At the back of the lobby, there is a grand piano that adds to the calm ambiance. While I wished to play a tune, unfortunately, I was unable to do so.

    I had a great birthday.

    I chose a trip to Ise as a birthday present. I usually stay at Hotels, but Ryokans are nice too. The staff provided warm hospitality, and I had a relaxing time. It was a bit disappointing that there was no open-air bath though.

    It was a very lovely Ryokan.

    We stayed for 2 nights on a family trip. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was very pleasant. Although we arrived late on the first day, they kindly prepared a meal for us. On the second day, our children (high school students) couldn't eat certain items from the previous day's meal, so we requested to have them removed without changing the price. Instead, they went out of their way to adjust two meals into Western-style plates for them. Thank you so much! We also borrowed lanterns for free during our evening walk, which made it a lovely experience. Since there are stairs up to the third floor, it might be challenging for those with weak legs or knees. Despite being an older building, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable. If we have another opportunity, we'd love to stay here again!

    It was excellent.

    I stayed at Hamachiyokan during my visit to Ise Shrine and Meoto Iwa. They kindly picked me up from the Futamiura bus stop and even dropped me off at the station on my way back, offering very flexible and thoughtful service. Meoto Iwa is within walking distance, and the sunrise I saw early in the morning was truly breathtaking. The staff at the ryokan warmly welcomed us with constant smiles, providing a comfortable and pleasant hospitality experience. The room had a slightly old-fashioned charm but was well-maintained and clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. The large public bath was also convenient for relaxing after a day of travel. What stood out most was the dinner, which exceeded expectations with its generous portions. From abalone teppanyaki to Ise lobster and premium meat, every dish featured luxurious ingredients that left me completely satisfied. This accommodation is highly recommended for those looking to enjoy sightseeing in Ise along with delicious meals!

    Before visiting Ise Jingu.

    It was a perfect accommodation, as I was told it is good to visit the shrine at Meoto Iwa before visiting Ise Jingu.

    This accommodation offers a stunning ocean view.

    I stayed for one night and two days for a visit to Ise. Although my check-in was after 6 PM, I appreciated the pick-up service with a HiAce van from Futamiura Station. The interior of the building had the charm of a traditional ryokan, while the room featured a spacious ocean-view window, and both the bathroom and toilet were clean. However, it would have been nice if welcome drinks or water were provided in the refrigerator. As for the private bath, having it as an onsen-style flowing bath like a large public bath would have enhanced the ryokan experience even more. The meals consisted of kaiseki cuisine centered around fresh sashimi and sukiyaki with Ise beef, allowing me to fully enjoy their freshness. While overall service and location with an ocean view were excellent, it felt unfortunate that many facilities seemed outdated.

    Worth the price

    The next room was supposed to be vacant, but it was noisy with voices, footsteps, and door opening and closing sounds. The food was just okay. I won't stay here again.

    Kindness

    The staff were friendly and kind, making it a very comfortable stay. Although our child became unwell from fatigue and we couldn't fully enjoy sightseeing, everyone was considerate and offered kind words. The view from the room was great, and the food was delicious, making our satisfaction high. Choosing this property was a great decision, and it truly saved our trip. We would definitely like to use it again for our next visit to Ise!
