    This Accommodation is perfect for guests who love seafood.

    Even during Golden Week, the total for three guests was JPY 59,565 after the IKYU discount, including dinner and breakfast for one night. At this price, lobster and abalone were included! When we actually visited, we were amazed by how luxurious it was. There was also a sashimi platter, and there were many dishes overall. Breakfast was also lavish, with lobster miso soup and simmered sea bream head included. I think the value for money is outstanding! This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again. The only disappointment was that the bedroom curtains were lace only, so around 5 a.m. it became too bright to sleep. Please install proper curtains in all Rooms! Other than that, we had no complaints.

    Family Trip

    Stayed for one night after visiting Ise with my 1-year-old child. I was initially concerned about the reviews mentioning odors, but during our stay, there were no issues at all despite having a sensitive nose. The thoughtful attention to my child was truly commendable. However, for the delicious meals provided, it would be better if dishes heated with solid fuel could be served in a way that allows guests to enjoy them warm at their own pace. Otherwise, the wonderful food loses its appeal. We chose the Ise lobster course, but found the lobsters smaller compared to those from Toshi Island and felt that the price was slightly high. We had expected a more extravagant sashimi platter typical of fishing towns but were left disappointed. That said, every dish tasted absolutely delicious. A surprising highlight was the seafood curry with abalone served at breakfast—it was so unique and flavorful that I would definitely buy it as a souvenir if sold in retort pouches! Lastly, improving the bedding quality would be appreciated; it might pose some difficulty for those with back issues.

    A Perfectly Wonderful Space (For a Trip to Honor Your Parents)

    A relaxing trip with my mother! The beautifully renovated Room was a perfect match for us! We were overwhelmed by the amazing cuisine, featuring a limited sushi course available only twice a month. As fish lovers, we were truly moved by every dish! Everything was delicious and served in generous portions (though we managed to finish it all, haha). The bath was small and had an old-fashioned charm, but it was impeccably clean and gave off a warm and welcoming vibe that made the Ryokan feel so special. The hostess, who seemed to be the owner, was incredibly kind. My mother enjoyed chatting with her so much—it truly made our stay memorable. My mother loved this place so much that she said she definitely wants to come back again! On our way home, we stopped by Ishigami-san (just one minute away!) and drew an omikuji fortune—got "Daikichi" (great blessing), making this trip the ultimate happy memory of filial piety!

    Thank you for your hospitality. We were looking forward to the meals, but there was a disappointing point. The sashimi platter listed on the menu was missing and replaced with bonito? However, it seemed insufficient for the number of people. When we asked the staff, they were unsure about it. How is the communication between the chef and the staff? Proper explanations would be appreciated.

    The dining room smells musty, which is quite disappointing.

    I visited for the purpose of dining. The dinner room had a strong musty smell. It seemed beyond what a dehumidifier could handle; perhaps a renovation is necessary. Maybe I’m just sensitive to it. When I stayed at Yunoshimakan in Gero Onsen, the building itself had a similar issue. The meal included an entire abalone and one spiny lobster each. I would have preferred grilled spiny lobster instead. I also wished for larger simmered fish, if that could be ordered separately. The seasoning was excellent overall.

    Customer Service

    The meals were plentiful and very filling. The size of the fried shrimp was astonishing! However, the service when arriving by car was disappointing... The hallway being completely dark before 9 PM felt dangerous and scary.

    Warm inn

    The best part was the hospitality, which was excellent above all else. Warm, homely, and attentive care. The meals were very luxurious. Dinner was delicious, starting with a whole sea bream, squid, and turban shell sashimi platter. However, there were some dishes that looked very delicious but we couldn't touch because we were too full. For those of us over 50, it would be nice to have a menu with one less dish.
