    I don’t think there’s anything else.

    Because it was a weekday and there were few guests, the large lobby was always dimly lit, and there was often no one from the Accommodation present. The attendants did their best to assist us, and I think the Facility is above average. However, I was surprised by the front desk staff’s service. After handling only the payment at checkout, they went back inside; no one saw us off, thanked us, or helped carry our luggage, which truly surprised me.

    It was pleasant.

    The Room was clean and comfortable. The meals were also delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. If I have the chance, I would love to stay again.

    More than satisfied with this wonderful, traditional Ryokan that exceeded expectations

    We stayed in a Japanese-style Room with a private open-air bath fed directly from the source. First, about the Onsen: the open-air bath in our Room was truly luxurious and easy to access from the Japanese-style Room. Even though it was still a bit chilly seasonally, we were able to use it comfortably. The large public bath is located in a secure area inside the building, and although we stayed just before a holiday weekend and had it almost to ourselves, we never felt uneasy about safety. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath were very comfortable. As a result, we enjoyed going back and forth between the private open-air bath in our Room and the large public bath many times! Next, about the meals: dinner was very filling, and we enjoyed a wide variety of local ingredients from appetizers through to the main course. The luxury items—especially grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) marinated in yuzu sauce and Noto beef—were beyond what we had imagined. Breakfast also offered various delicious “rice companions” that paired perfectly with great rice, so we thoroughly enjoyed it. Since this is not a new building, I was initially concerned about heating and other measures against the cold, but there were no issues with temperatures either in our Room or throughout the Facility. We were able to relax comfortably in a spacious, clean, calm Japanese-style Room. We had packed plans for the next day as well, so we left early on the first Shuttle Service bus; looking back, I think it would have been nice to take things slower at this Accommodation. There aren’t many places to visit right around this Accommodation, but we did enjoy short walks such as Rosanjin’s Iroha Soan and around an atmospheric public bath area nearby. Access is also reasonable: it’s about 10–15 minutes by Shuttle Service bus from Kagaonsen Station (and it takes only around 5 minutes from getting off the Shinkansen to boarding). There isn’t a lobby café or trendy services like breakfast buffets that you often see these days; however, for anyone who wants to unwind at a calm Ryokan with an old-fashioned sense of comfort and security above all else, I can highly recommend this Accommodation. It may also be because we splurged somewhat on a good Room option they prepared for us, but overall my spouse and I were completely satisfied—we couldn’t find anything to fault. Lastly, thank you very much to our attendant for your warm hospitality. We would love to stay again.

    This is my fourth visit.

    I stayed here three times in the past, and this was my first stay again in over 10 years. I remembered the spacious bath, the generous and delicious meals, and the roomy Room. This time was just as I remembered, and I was very satisfied. Thank you for upgrading our Room. The bath in the Room was also spacious and very nice. In the past, there used to be a salad buffet at breakfast using local vegetables that guests could serve themselves, so I was disappointed that it is no longer available. I will stay again.

    Hot Onsen

    The large public bath was pleasantly hot and very relaxing. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality also made me very happy. However, the first-floor lobby felt quiet and a bit lonely.

    The food exceeded expectations.

    Thank you for kindly accommodating us despite our same-day Reservation. We enjoyed meals that exceeded our expectations at a reasonable price. The sashimi was fresh, and many of the dishes were carefully prepared, so we were very satisfied. The bath was spacious and nice, but the open-air bath was lukewarm while the indoor bath was quite hot—adjusting each by about one degree would have made it even better. There was also a comfortable massage chair.

    Thank you very much.

    Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. Our whole family was very satisfied. The staff who assisted us were kind, which we appreciated. The Onsen was simple and nice, but we noticed some cobwebs and dust on top of the shelves. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious, which was nice, but it wasn’t very practical to use. The sofa was comfortable and the view was great, but there was only a TV in the bedroom, so we couldn’t watch TV while sitting on the sofa. The air conditioner didn’t work very well, and it was cold. The meals were very delicious. The grilled dried horse mackerel served at breakfast in particular was outstanding. I wanted to buy some to take home. In any case, all of the food was delicious.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I made a Reservation because the Room has a semi-open-air hot spring bath with free-flowing natural spring water. As the Accommodation 안내 indicates, it is a bit of a walk from the front desk to the Room. You’ll use stairs and elevators, but it’s easy to find your way. However, guests with limited mobility may need a little extra time. The Room has two separate spaces, each with a low table and TV, so you can relax comfortably without worrying about each other. There are also two washbasins, and the restroom includes a men’s urinal area, making it clean and convenient to use. The semi-open-air bath is kept at a consistent temperature at all times, so you can soak with peace of mind. Meals were served in a private dining room, and ordering drinks via QR code was very convenient. The spiny lobster hot pot at dinner was so delicious I drank every last drop of the broth. Breakfast was plentiful as well, including overnight-dried horse mackerel, yudofu (tofu hot pot), squid sashimi, and more. The Kutani ware dishes used for the meal were all beautiful, and I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and presentation. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles, making our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

    Stayed for one night.

    Thank you for your stay. The service was welcoming and made us feel comfortable, which was great. However, the building is quite old, and it was necessary to wear a jacket when leaving the Room. It felt very cold wearing just a yukata. The dining venue was excellent, but personally, my feet felt cold, making warmth seem absent overall. While the front desk service was adequate, the draft from gaps in the old building made it too cold for a comfortable night's stay.

    Annual family trip! The room was clean, and they were considerate of my son's dietary restrictions, so we were very satisfied with the meals. One small issue was that there was no hot water in the room's bath, but the large public bath (Onsen) was excellent, so it wasn't a problem. We would love to stay again if we have the chance!

    The large public bat...

    The large public bath and the Room bath were great, but the shower water pressure was weak. The atmosphere of the front desk, lobby, and hallways felt dark, which is a shame. Directional signs and markers were hard to understand. There were many stairs, making it difficult to carry luggage. It would be better to change the smell in the hallways. The meals were extremely delicious and top-class. Not having an outlet in the washroom was inconvenient, and the hairdryer was too old. The futon mattress in the Japanese-style Room was too firm. It might be good to encourage more young staff members as attendants.
