  This was an Accommodation I’m glad I chose.

  We stayed here as a couple. We made a Reservation because we were looking for an Accommodation where we could relax around Lake Yamanaka, and it turned out to be even better than we expected. What we loved - The grilled rainbow trout at dinner was excellent. We don’t often get the chance to eat it, and it was especially memorable among all the dishes. - The wine-fed beef tenderloin was very tender and cooked perfectly. The garlic grilled rice ball we ordered as an extra was also a great choice. - Breakfast was just as enjoyable, with freshly made hot sandwiches and handmade soba. The soba had a wonderful aroma that really stood out. - The Room and bath were spotless and comfortable. Even details like the placement of outlets were convenient, and we could feel the thoughtful care throughout. - We were happy to have a view of Mt. Fuji from our Room. - Above all, the owner and his wife were truly lovely people. They welcomed us warmly and also told us about Myojinyama Panorama Terrace (mentioned below). The next morning, we visited Myojinyama Panorama Terrace as recommended, and enjoyed an amazing view overlooking both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka—one of the highlights of our trip. We suggest going a bit early, ideally by around 9:00 a.m., since parking is limited and it gets crowded. Everything—from the food to the scenery to the hospitality—was highly satisfying, and on our way home we kept saying how glad we were that we chose this place. We highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone who wants to spend a relaxing time in Lake Yamanaka. We’d love to visit again in another season.

We’re relieved and delighted to hear that you enjoyed each dish—from the teppanyaki featuring Yamanashi rainbow trout and Koshu Wine Beef, to the breakfast hot sandwiches and handmade soba. Thank you as well for adding the garlic grilled rice balls; we’re happy to hear they were “the perfect choice.” Thank you also for your kind words about the cleanliness of the Room and bath, as well as our Facilities. While we are a small Accommodation without extravagant amenities, we always strive to ensure a comfortable stay, so your feedback is very encouraging. We’re also glad you enjoyed the view from Myojinyama Panorama Observatory, just a 4-minute drive from our pension. The sweeping scenery overlooking Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka is one of our own favorite spots. Thank you for mentioning even the parking congestion—this will be helpful information for future visitors. With so many Accommodations around Mt. Fuji, we imagine it wasn’t easy to choose, so hearing that you went home saying, “We’re glad we chose this place,” means more to us than anything.   I was very satisfied.

  Since it was a weekday Thursday stay, we were the only two guests and enjoyed a quiet stay. The meals, including appetizers, rainbow trout, and wine beef, were all exceptionally delicious and paired perfectly with the red wine we ordered by the bottle. Breakfast featured delicious sandwiches served on a single plate; although it seemed like a large portion at first, we managed to finish everything. In the morning, the weather was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a close-up view of snow-capped Mount Fuji for a truly pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

  Delicious cuisine

  I made a sudden plan and stayed without much prior information, but it was a very good stay. The room and facilities, though small and casual, were warmly welcoming and kept clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. Above all, the meals were delicious! The full-course dinner using local ingredients and the delicious wine exceeded expectations. The trout dish was exquisite. The owner couple were also very pleasant. I arrived after it got dark, but the sign at the entrance from the road was not noticeable, so I passed by it. Please be careful if you visit after dusk.

As our pension is small in structure, there might have been some inconveniences, but we are glad to hear that you were able to relax during your stay. We are relieved to know that the meals suited your taste. The rainbow trout meunière is fresh and thick, resulting in a fluffy finish. We apologize for the difficulty in finding the entrance to the pension from the prefectural road. The sign becomes hard to see after sunset.
