  The meals are delicious.

  Thank you for staying with us and for your review. This summer was quite cloudy, so it was a shame you couldn’t enjoy the refreshing mountain views, but we’re glad you enjoyed the meals.   Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  A friend recommended Kiyosato to me, and my long-awaited 3-night, 4-day stay during the Obon holiday finally came true. We were very well taken care of at Country Inn Orchard. The owner welcomed us warmly, and everything—from the meals to the interior design—was beautiful, making our memories in Kiyosato truly unforgettable. By the time I boarded the train out of Kiyosato on the last day, I already wanted to come back again soon. Thank you very much!

  A lovely family-run property!

  Congratulations on your 47th anniversary—I hope you’ll celebrate your 50th and 60th as well. Roasting marshmallows after the meal looked like so much fun. The thoughtful attention to detail and care in the dining experience was wonderful. Even after the concert at the Highland Lodge Music Hall, there’s still plenty of time to make it for dinner. From now on, I’ll be staying in the Kiyosato area.

  An Accommodation Experience to Feel "Kiyosato"

  We stayed at the accommodation while attending the Field Ballet. The owner couple and their son were wonderful, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful time. The building, garden, and facilities were charming, giving a sense of being cherished over many years. Although we only had breakfast, the food was delicious. There was also a blueberry field where we enjoyed picking berries during our morning walk. In this area of Kiyosato, you can feel the care for nature, objects, and people alike. It was truly an accommodation that embodied the essence of Kiyosato. We hope to visit again with someone special in the future. Thank you very much!

  The Classic Pension Experience

  The accommodation is located on "Ainohara Street" (a one-lane road with little traffic), just a short walk south of the popular tourist spot "Moegi no Mura." It is said to be one of the pioneering pensions built before Kiyosato gained attention. Despite its convenient location, it is quiet and free from traffic noise. The building and interior are as charming and solid as shown in online photos, offering a calm atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, you can hear the chirping of bush warblers even from your room. Being in a mountainous area, the climate is comparable to Hokkaido's, so cherry blossoms have not yet bloomed unless you descend to lower altitudes like those along Chuo Expressway. As expected from a pension stay, the owner couple warmly welcomes guests. They also provide rich information about local attractions and regional topics. The room's bath is combined with the toilet and does not have a washing area; however, there is a private bath available by reservation. The large bathtub holds plenty of hot water at an ideal temperature that seems to circulate constantly. Dinner is served at a set time for all guests together. You can enjoy seasonal dishes rich in local flavors paired with fine local sake. The meals are neither extravagant nor overly elaborate but offer gentle flavors that cannot easily be replicated by amateurs. The rooms and beds are clean, quiet, and warm—possibly thanks to double-glazed windows—but compact in size with slightly steep stairs that may require support for guests who need assistance with mobility. On quiet nights, you might hear owls calling outside. Breakfast can be enjoyed at your own pace in a relaxed manner. Check-out time is set later than usual for added convenience.
