    Stunning view

The Facility is old and access is unique, but the view is unparalleled. We arrived late at night, so we missed the sunset, but both the night view and morning scenery were spectacular. There was no large public bath; it was a Room bath instead. However, it seemed to have been renovated as it was clean and equipped with a ReFa showerhead. Exploring Yashima after check-out was also enjoyable.

The location is hard to find.

I stayed at the accommodation by car. I had reserved the hotel's parking lot in advance. Following the navigation system, it ended near the mountaintop parking lot. It was dark at night, and I couldn't figure out my surroundings. Unsure whether to enter the parking lot or not, I nervously made a U-turn in the darkness. Still unable to find my way, I entered the mountaintop parking lot and contacted the hotel from there. They instructed me to proceed left along a walkway near the exit of that parking lot without actually exiting it by car. As I followed their directions, I found the hotel ahead. The parking area is narrow and tricky to park in, so please be cautious when entering it. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and cleaned thoroughly, making for a pleasant stay. The bath is only available in-room but was clean as well.

    Seto Inland Sea Sunset

A reunion at the historic scenic spot, Yashima. Blessed with good weather, we enjoyed dinner while watching the sunset. The relaxing time spent at Yashimaru and Yashima Temple was delightful, and the visit to Shikoku Mura and Shikoku Mura Café made it a truly memorable reunion.

    Shikoku Travel Journey

The final accommodation of the 4-night, 5-day Shikoku tour was in Kagawa Prefecture. I chose accommodations with varying styles, including hotels and ryokans. After researching recommended hotels and ryokans in Kagawa online, I made my decision. The view was spectacular, the room had a retro atmosphere and was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and toilet were newly renovated. When I opened the window, I could see all the way to Takamatsu and even catch a glimpse of Shodoshima Island's silhouette. Looking down at the Seto Inland Sea dotted with small islands, I learned that this area was once a battleground for historical dramas like the Genpei War. The unexpected beauty left me deeply moved as I sat by the window enjoying coffee while gazing out at this historic scenery. Visiting Yashima—a place renowned in history—was truly worthwhile. I also visited a nearby shrine where historical figures from the Genpei War were depicted. The night view was exceptional as well; while enjoying bird sukiyaki (chicken hot pot), I found myself captivated by its beauty. The owners were thoughtful yet unobtrusive, allowing me to relax comfortably during my stay. Being so close to Osaka makes it easy to visit again—I definitely plan to return!

I was satisfied with my first stay.

I found it to be an excellent Hotel. Located on a hill, the view is great, especially the sunset and night scenery are outstanding. The meals were satisfying in both quantity and quality, and the service was very courteous. I would definitely like to stay again.

The location is difficult to find.

I arrived after sunset, but the location is quite difficult to find. There is a path that continues into the back of the coin parking, and from there, it felt like I was somehow aiming for the aquarium. The staff's response was good. The view from the Room is excellent!

A hotel with a beautiful view

It was a stay without meals, but the staff was very unfriendly. I contacted them by email to reserve a parking space, but there was no reply, so I called to confirm. The response was only, "Didn't you send an email? We have your parking reservation." There was no apology, which left a bad impression. Upon arrival at the hotel, the instructions for parking and the passport verification at check-in (my husband is a foreigner, but they asked even my child and me) did not make us feel good. Despite having suitcases, there was no elevator, and we had to carry our luggage ourselves. A friend also stayed and was equally upset with the staff's response and attitude, and it was difficult to calm them down when they decided to change accommodations. The night view was beautiful, and the night view of Kagawa was the best.
