More suitable for kids than babies.
We stayed as three generations. For my husband with bad knees and our 2-year-old grandchild, moving around the sloped grounds felt risky, and there was no elevator inside—only stairs. It would have helped to have at least handrails. That said, there were many Facilities that could be enjoyed for free, which made our grandchild very happy. I think it’s best suited for children around elementary school age.

Summer Vacation Trip with My Grandchild
We stayed here during our summer vacation. There were multiple play areas for children both outdoors and indoors, and even karaoke and games were free—truly a dream Hotel for kids. Adults could also enjoy drinks and karaoke without worrying about extra charges, making it a wonderful summer memory. We checked out at 9:00 because we planned to spend the next day at the beach, but we recommend staying until 11:00 to fully enjoy the Hotel.

A Hotel Designed with Children in Mind
I may have expected too much from Instagram. In my mind, it would be a renovated old villa area filled with toys—a place where you could let your kids play while having a beer. I’m the type who looks for an extraordinary sense of luxury in a Hotel, so it wasn’t the right fit for me. [Room] Since I made a last-minute Reservation and left the Room assignment up to the property, we ended up in a Room that—oddly—seemed to be the only one located right next to the restaurant... It has been renovated, but it felt damp and didn’t get much sunlight. Some things like outlets looked old, and perhaps because it was close to the dining area, there was an unpleasant smell. It also had an atmosphere that made me worry about bugs, which was disappointing. The massage chair (apparently available in every Room) was nice. Also, one side of the bed cover had a strong smell of cheap detergent that made me feel sick. It smelled so bad that we forced two people into one bed. There were no disposable slippers, which made me concerned about hygiene as well. There were dead insects on the window frame. [Meals] Both dinner and breakfast had lots of kid-friendly options and were set up so children could serve themselves easily. However, from an adult perspective none of it was satisfying... Even my child took one bite of the kids’ omurice and said it wasn’t good. Many items looked good but didn’t taste great. And since there were so many children around, hygiene also felt questionable—for example, I saw kids sticking marshmallows they had licked into the chocolate fountain—an unusually anything-goes vibe that I haven’t seen even at other Resort Hotels for families. [Baths] When we went to the large public bath right after check-in, the open-air bath was full of insects and leaves. It didn’t feel like somewhere you could comfortably get in at all. The private bath also gave off a “bugs might appear” feeling even from the changing area, and my child didn’t want to go in either—if you hate bugs, I don’t think this is doable. [Play Areas] My 6-year-old enjoyed it! The ride park was also nice—you can play there during cooler hours with a drink in hand. Even if they get bored quickly, it’s like “Where next?” If adults are willing to keep up with them, kids can play endlessly. Hope this helps as reference. My child had a great time—and since I’d been curious about it on Instagram too—I’m glad we went; however, I don’t think it’s good value for money. At this price point you could stay at other international Resort Hotels instead, so if it were cheaper my impression might have been different.

Enjoy a relaxing bath.
We have a large public bath, and also many private baths. The private baths do not require a Reservation—use them anytime if available! You can check availability via QR code, which is very convenient. The semi-open-air baths are especially exciting. Baby amenities are also provided, so families with children can use them with peace of mind.

Izu is definitely unique—in a good way.
I found out the day before that it was a three-day weekend, so I booked and stayed on the same day. We chose a Room with a hammock. Since my daughter is 3 years and 9 months old, she was thrilled and kept spinning around again and again. The in-Room toys were more for babies, but she still played with them—maybe because they felt nostalgic to her. The Facility is spread across several areas, but you can reach the buffet venue and play areas in about 2–3 minutes, so as long as it’s not rainy or snowy, it’s no problem at all. What surprised me most was that everything for kids to enjoy (the arcade, sports activities, playground equipment, etc.) was free! And even though it was a three-day weekend, it didn’t feel that crowded! The private Onsen could be used for free multiple times! There’s also a large public bath. It was fairly clean—and not crowded at all. Plus karaoke is unlimited until 1:00 a.m.! It’s heaven for adults as well as kids! And the buffet was pretty good too! I often go to New Otani’s The Sky, and I think this could compete in terms of variety—sure, the taste is a bit simple, but kids will love it. It was amazing! We had such a great time!

Though the price is high, the resort stay was absolutely satisfying.
We stayed at Anda no Mori Izu Ippekiko over the weekend as a couple. In conclusion, while the price is indeed high, the satisfaction exceeded expectations, making it a hotel we definitely want to visit again! First and foremost, the quality of the buffet was outstanding. With a wide variety of Japanese cuisine, Western dishes, and desserts, everything was truly delicious. We ended up eating more than we intended! The freshly prepared dishes from the live kitchen were especially amazing. The facility was spotless everywhere you looked. Both our room and shared spaces were impeccably clean down to every detail, giving off a sense of being in a top-class resort. The staff's service was exceptional. Their subtle greetings and thoughtful attention made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality conveyed their genuine desire to delight guests—it left us deeply impressed. The cocktails at the bar in the evening were exquisite. The bartender crafted them with care, creating an atmosphere that was simply perfect. And we can't forget about the late-night "Yonaki Soba"! It was such a treat to enjoy after staying up late having fun—it tasted incredible! Activities were incredibly abundant: table tennis, darts, an arcade center, karaoke rooms, billiards—all free and unlimited! We played all day long and felt like we had gone back to our student days (laughs). Honestly speaking, while it does come with a price tag, we felt that every aspect—food, facilities, service, activities—offered value far beyond its cost. We would absolutely love to return for special occasions or when seeking complete relaxation! If you're looking for a resort hotel in Izu, we wholeheartedly recommend this place with confidence. It was an unforgettable stay worth more than five stars!

We stayed in a detac...
We stayed in a detached villa room as a three-generation family. As expected from a high-priced room, the room was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Unlike many accommodations that do not provide items like lotion or moisturizer, they were provided in full bottles here, which was impressive. There were plenty of activities available, all free of charge. The private onsen bath was also complimentary. Considering that most facilities charge for activities and private baths, we found this highly satisfying and commendable. However, while the service and hospitality during meals (breakfast, dinner, and late-night snacks) were good, the number of dishes was limited and the taste was average. Especially since we stayed in the most expensive room category, there was a noticeable gap between the cost of the accommodation and the quality of meals. It made us feel that staying in a less expensive room might have been sufficient. Although managing such a large facility must be challenging, increasing local produce options or adding more variety to dishes—especially improving desserts and fruits—could significantly enhance customer satisfaction even further.

The accommodation wa...
The accommodation was in a quiet location with plenty of baths and an all-inclusive service, which was great. There were many spots to take photos as well. Although it was a bit inconvenient to go outside the building to access the large public bath and family baths, exploring the various family baths was enjoyable! However, since our room was above the restaurant, passing through the back of the restaurant to reach our room felt a bit awkward. It would be nice if there were a dedicated entrance for guests staying in the restaurant building. The meals were buffet-style and everything was delicious. At the buffet entrance, there tended to be lines; it might be smoother if staff encouraged guests to start from any section they like without waiting in line. The shuttle service driver carefully loaded our suitcases onto the bus, which made us feel very welcomed. Additionally, hotel staff kindly offered to take photos for us and left a great impression!

A perfect match for your needs ensures an enjoyable time.
As two adults stayed, there were several points that did not meet our needs. The following three points stood out in particular: ① The unique smell lingering throughout the Facility from the moment we entered. ② A large black insect appearing in the private bath. ③ The book corner consisting only of a few comics and magazines. Regarding ③, perhaps providing books specific to the area could spark visitors' interest in the region and encourage repeat visits. That said, trying karaoke—something we likely wouldn't have done otherwise—was a valuable experience made possible by this Facility.

Great for families with children!
Overall, it was good, but getting there by train was quite far. The kids' playroom was nice. The meals were so-so.

Accommodation where children take the spotlight
We stayed in a Room with a space for children to play, but since there were plenty of outdoor play areas, we hardly used it. The weather was great on both days, and it was wonderful to see the kids playing enthusiastically and sweating while enjoying various outdoor playgrounds. Dinner was organized into three time slots, making it smooth and enjoyable. Although there was some waiting time for breakfast due to overlapping schedules, the kids played at a nearby park-like area, so the wait felt effortless and time passed quickly.

Lost and Found
My grandson loves Plarail, so we chose this place. We moved from one play area to another and didn’t realize we had forgotten a hat until we got home. We contacted the Hotel, and they promptly sent it to us via courier. Thank you very much! Unfortunately, the indoor Onsen was too hot, so we couldn’t relax in it. When I tried to buy cup noodles at the shop during lunchtime, most of them were extremely spicy—I wished there were more regular flavors available. The staff's service was excellent!

A 2-night, 3-day stay is just right.
This was our first time using the Property. We stayed with a 6-year-old, and it seemed like they enjoyed the game corner and hammock. I thought that as they grow older, they would be able to enjoy activities like table tennis even more. Some of the outdoor play equipment was a bit old, which was slightly disappointing. The meals were buffet-style, but I felt that by the third day, we might get tired of the menu options. Since we stayed for two nights this time, it felt just right and overall, the adults were mostly satisfied.

It was a fun family trip!
We stayed for a 2-day family trip. The first thing that surprised us was the spacious grounds and the impressive building where we were to stay. We had seen it in photos, but upon arrival, it was even more wonderful. Additionally, the staff's service was impeccable, with attentive care and pleasant greetings. The activities within the Facility were abundant, and we were very satisfied as the whole family could enjoy them until late at night! At night, we enjoyed the beautiful starry sky and refreshed ourselves in the Onsen, making it the perfect choice! Next spring, we plan to welcome a grandchild, so we will use it with our family of six.

It seems that Anda no Mori was experiencing a power outage...
This time, I had booked a 2-night stay at Anda no Mori for my son's 3rd birthday. The day before our stay, I received a call from Anda Resort Izu Kogen, informing me that Anda no Mori was experiencing a power outage with no estimated time for recovery, and they offered us to stay at Anda Resort Izu Kogen instead. Since they mentioned we could use a spacious room, we decided to take the alternative option and stay at Anda Resort Izu Kogen instead of canceling our trip. Reflecting on our stay, I felt that Anda no Mori would have been better with two young children... 1. The room we had reserved at Anda no Mori was one where the children could play a lot indoors. Although the alternative room was spacious with many beds, from the children's perspective, a room where they could play indoors would have been better... 2. The dinner at Anda Resort Izu Kogen was a course meal, not a buffet, which was not child-friendly. If the younger child started fussing, with a buffet, we could carry the child and get food from the buffet table, but with a course meal, we couldn't do that, and more than half of the meal time ended up being spent outside the restaurant trying to keep the child happy. 3. Additionally, we had expressed our desire to stay at Anda no Mori if it became available during our stay, so we expected to be informed of any changes in the situation. However, since there was no such communication, we had to inquire about the situation several times without knowing anything. There were good aspects like the dinosaur bath and late-night snacks, but since we had been looking forward to staying at Anda no Mori for our child's birthday for months, wanting to let him play to his heart's content in the Plarail room, we were filled with disappointment... In cases like this where unforeseen circumstances require a change in accommodation, we would appreciate it if you could consider providing a bit more care during the stay.

It was fun.
Everything a family with children could want was available, including services, food, drinks, and play equipment.

Please respond.
Construction was being done in the garden facing the Room, and while the noise in the afternoon to evening was tolerable, the noise from the morning was bothersome. Moreover, I was surprised to see a male construction staff member right in front of the Room window. I wasn't informed beforehand that I wouldn't be able to open the curtains or windows. There was a shortcut-like entrance that wasn't prohibited, so when I proceeded, the soil had been tilled, leaving no path to walk on, and my shoes got dirty. The dirt won't come off. Were announcements made to others, and were we the only ones who weren't informed?

Enjoy a Trip for Three Generations
We stayed for two nights as a three-generation family, including a 3-year-old child. The facilities for play were amazing, including mini-golf, table tennis, badminton, curling, tricycles and other rides, ball pits, an arcade center, Plarail trains and blocks, pretend play sets, and more. We enjoyed them until just before bedtime. Among these attractions was a real fire truck where kids could dress up as firefighters—our 3-year-old son loved it! The buffet meals were delightful with morning fisherman's rice bowls and evening sashimi and tempura dishes. The late-night ramen was also a hit with the kids. For those who enjoy drinking alcohol, unlimited beer and wine from daytime onwards is sure to please. The Room had kid-friendly spaces and spacious beds that made our stay very comfortable.

I had fun.
The facilities for play were well-equipped and enjoyable. Since my child was an infant, I think we could enjoy it even more when they grow older. I felt the dinner was slightly geared towards children, so I would have liked more options for adults. There were many steps, making it difficult to move around with a stroller. The breakfast menu was varied and delicious.
