  Staying with a 2-month-old baby

  The stairs were a bit challenging, but the bath was one floor up and became a private family bath after dinner, so the three of us, including my daughter, had a wonderful time. Every dish was delicious, including the proprietress’s homemade desserts and pickled plums—this is an Accommodation we’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much!

  The ocean view from ...

  The ocean view from the Room was truly breathtaking, and I was able to relax and unwind. The Room was also very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The panoramic bath can be reserved for private use, and soaking in the bath while gazing out at the vast ocean right in front of you felt wonderful. Every dish at dinner was delicious, especially the deep-fried rockfish and the grilled abalone—both were outstanding. The portions were very generous—more than I could finish. I’m sorry I couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast was just as satisfying. Although we unfortunately had bad weather this time, it was still a lovely stay. Next time, I’d love to return on a sunny day.

  It was a very satisf...

  It was a very satisfying trip. I made the Reservation between work commitments and forgot to mention in advance that it was my birthday. Although I understand you normally require notice at least three days in advance, you still prepared a wonderful gift even after I told you on the day, which made me truly happy. Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality.

  When choosing an Acc...

  When choosing an Accommodation for a mountain trip (Mt. Amagi), we decided on this place because it’s not too far from the trailhead. What convinced us was the free-flowing hot spring straight from the source, the small size with only four groups, and the food, which looked absolutely delicious. Since we live on the Sea of Japan side, a cold wave led to preventive road closures starting the day before departure, and we were worried about whether we could even make it there. It turned out the area was in turmoil due to the heaviest snowfall in 15 years. The Accommodation also had a tough time—the water supply stopped the day before we arrived—but it was restored by our check-in, and we had no issues at all during our stay. Just as expected, the meals were so good that we finished everything even while saying we were stuffed, and we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean view from the scenic bath—100% satisfied. The hostess gave us lots of helpful tips, and thanks to her we also enjoyed an unplanned walk along Jogasaki Coast. We’re truly glad we chose this place.

With the cold wave, we called to say, “Please don’t push yourself—if it seems dangerous, please turn back,” and we were also worried about your journey. It was the heaviest snowfall in 15 years, and even I don’t remember anything like it—truly astonishing. When we saw you arrive safely, we felt such relief. We are delighted to hear that you were satisfied with everything—from our cuisine to the ocean view from the scenic bath. We also truly appreciate that you finished your meal even while saying it was “tough”—it greatly encouraged both my husband and our son, and we are sincerely grateful. We’re also very glad to hear you enjoyed a walk along Jogasaki Coast. That your trip in such severe weather became a good memory—and that you stayed with us on that day of heavy snow—are unforgettable for us as well. Please do come again in a different season.   It was delicious.

  The facility is somewhat old but well-maintained and sparkling clean, with thoughtful touches to meet every need. The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi, which was almost unusable—but if you think of it as a digital detox, it’s not so bad. The cheerful hostess and staff provide warm hospitality, and the fresh seafood dishes straight from the nearby fishing port are incredibly generous in portion size and absolutely delicious. Even the dessert is outstanding! The pickled plums placed in the room were so exceptionally tasty that they alone make a visit worthwhile. Although the bath is slightly small, making it available for private use on a time-scheduled basis shows considerate planning that adds to its charm. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise over Oshima Island right in front of you; they even post tomorrow's sunrise time on the stairs—impressive attention to detail! (I made sure to enjoy it from the bath!) It’s such an excellent accommodation that you might not want to share this hidden gem with others!
