    Accommodation with Delicious Meals

    Stayed during a busy holiday period. It was likely fully booked and very busy, yet the staff provided excellent and attentive service. They kindly assisted with sightseeing advice and guidance. For dinner, we chose Izu beef and abalone as the main dishes. Although I usually prefer meat, the abalone with liver vinegar sauce was incredibly delicious! I’d love to have it again!! The staff also graciously accommodated our request to add an extra Izu beef steak—thank you for that. Of course, we also enjoyed the kinmedai (golden eye snapper) and spiny lobster; everything was delightful. Both dinner and breakfast were highly satisfying, with so many side dishes that it felt overwhelming in a good way! The private-use baths allowed us to relax at our own pace without any rush. This has become one of the ryokans I'd love to visit again!

    A wonderful accommodation no matter how many times you visit.

    The review is a bit delayed. We always look forward to the hostess's cooking, and this year we visited at the beginning of March. The handmade welcome sweets served upon arrival were absolutely delicious. (My mother was truly moved. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.) The discovery that the room had been updated to a bed type and that there was now a sauna was delightful! Although the room felt slightly compact because of this, my parents, who have difficulty with their legs and back, found it easier to get in and out of bed. Both the accommodation and its facilities, including the rooms and baths, are impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. This is an accommodation where you can enjoy happiness filled with relaxation—soaking in the bath at leisure, experiencing the sauna, unwinding in your room watching TV while waiting for dinner to be ready. Dinner offers seasonal delicacies every time we visit. The appetizers, steak, abalone dishes, red snapper rice—everything on offer is consistently exquisite. When we visited at the beginning of March this year, we were fortunate enough to enjoy both fully bloomed cherry blossoms (Kawazu-zakura) and vibrant rapeseed flowers despite their late blooming season this year. There’s a beautiful spot about 10 minutes' walk from the accommodation where you can enjoy these views during a morning stroll. We look forward to visiting again during another season!     The property offers exquisite cuisine and a relaxing stay.

    There is no view. The room is a Japanese-style room with two beds. Since it was for single use, there was no duvet on one of the beds. There is no pot or tea in the room. You can take hot water from the water server (cold water, hot water) along the corridor using the teapot, teacup, and tea canister provided, and bring it back to your room. You can also use a single-serving pack of regular coffee and a coffee cup in the same way. Meal times are fixed at 6 PM and 8 AM. It feels a bit inconvenient, but the landlady's cooking is exquisite. I think her ingenuity surpasses that of professional chefs. The bath system is also excellent. From 5 PM to 6 PM (before dinner), the private reservation system is lifted, allowing anyone to bathe before dinner, and at other times, you can enjoy a leisurely bath with a reservation. This is the perfect property for "doing nothing."
