    Highly satisfied

This was our first trip to Tateyama as a couple. We made a Reservation because we were drawn to the name “Osashimi no Yado.” The hospitality exceeded our expectations, and the Accommodation was very clean. The food was also excellent. We would love to stay again.

    I felt refreshed!

We stayed to celebrate our sons’ school entrance and to unwind after the hectic start of our new routine. The ocean was right in front of us, the property was spotless, and above all, the food was delicious—we were truly satisfied! I haven’t often found really good sashimi in Boso, but dinner here was excellent!! Thank you as well for your thoughtful kindness toward our children at dinner—they were delighted and finished everything…! We would love to visit again.

    The boat platter is excellent!

We chose this accommodation because our family loves fish. The sashimi boat platter was the most packed with sashimi we have ever seen. The fried scorpionfish was also delicious. It was a very satisfying stay.

The abundant seafood was absolutely fantastic!

We enjoyed a feast of fresh seafood, and everything we had was truly delicious! The abalone and spiny lobster were exceptional! The facility was clean, the Onsen had a gentle touch on the skin, and the staff provided excellent service. Our whole family was thoroughly satisfied.

Stayed with children aged 3 and 7.

The staff were all very kind, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. As expected from an accommodation known for its sashimi, the boat platter was luxurious, and the deep-fried scorpionfish was a favorite of my 7-year-old son. The facility was clean, and while the room was small, it was comfortable to stay in. With the sea right in front of us, we borrowed fishing gear; although we didn’t catch any fish, the children enjoyed playing on the rocky shore and catching gobies. The pool is just the right size for small children to play in. Additionally, there is an excellent Italian restaurant near the accommodation where we were able to park before check-in and enjoy a meal—this was also a great experience!

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

The Room and bath were clean, the view was great, and of course, the meals were very satisfying. All the staff were attentive with smiles and paid attention to every detail, making my entire family express their desire to visit again. The open-air bath on the second floor is exceptional.

A relaxing Onsen accommodation that makes you want to come back again.

I went on a 2-night, 3-day auspicious direction trip with my daughter. In January, I stayed at Shinra and fell in love with Tateyama. This time, I was curious about Tarobe by the sea and decided to stay there. The result exceeded all expectations, even surpassing Shinra. The room we stayed in was called "Tai," located on the second floor with a stunning full view of the ocean. Meals were served in a private dining room; although it was breakfast only, both mornings featured different menus with grilled horse mackerel and mackerel as the main dishes. Everything was delicious! The onsen had high ceilings and clean facilities with excellent water quality. Upstairs, there was an open-air bath where you could enjoy glimpses of the outside scenery through gaps while soaking in one of two tubs. My daughter and I relaxed while admiring the view together. Each time we visited, it felt like a private experience as no one else was around—this added to its charm! Since dinner wasn’t included, we dined at an Italian restaurant just a short walk away that offered stylish ambiance along with delicious pizza and risotto dishes. On our second night, we enjoyed yakiniku at Yamato—it too was fantastic! We also tried soft-serve ice cream from Yamada Peanuts which turned out to be incredibly tasty! This trip made me fall even more in love with Tateyama. Although most days were cloudy or rainy overall during our stay, we were lucky enough to witness a beautiful sunset on the second day that left us deeply moved—not quite Diamond Fuji but close enough for awe-inspiring views. This ryokan is truly wonderful—a place you’d want to return again soon! Next time I'll bring my family along for another visit here—thank you so much for everything!

    The meals are excellent.

We decided to stay at the accommodation due to the high ratings for the meals. The food was as delicious as the reviews said, with grilled horse mackerel and fried scorpionfish being exceptional. Of course, the sashimi was also delightful.

    First-time Use

This was my first time using this accommodation. At the time of reservation, I received a notification that due to a system error, the room could not be prepared for the reserved date. Since it was meant to celebrate with my family, I was unsure what to do, but I managed to reschedule by shifting the date by one day and felt relieved. The room did not have a private bath and was quite standard—neither particularly good nor bad. However, I felt that it was well-cleaned and maintained. The baths were great; while the large public bath was nice, I especially enjoyed the free family baths with both indoor and outdoor options. The onsen provided an excellent warming experience. For meals, we chose the most basic plan but found it very satisfying due to its generous portions. Thanks to a thoughtful gesture from the accommodation, we were served spiny lobster sashimi as well, which made my family very happy—thank you so much! I would love to use this accommodation again in the future!

    Clean Accommodation

The Room was small, but the facility was clean and pleasant. Dinner portions were large, and I ended up overeating. The sashimi was delicious. However, when we tried the private family bath, the strong chlorine smell was disappointing.

    Authentically Japanese

The dishes were delicious, featuring an abundance of seafood in sashimi, fried, and simmered dishes. Additionally, we enjoyed the baths very much, including the private bath with a free open-air bath. The blinds on the second floor of the large public bath are a bit oppressive... Overall, we were satisfied.

Enjoyed the bounty of the sea.

The dinner was very delicious, and both the sashimi and the simmered fish were all tasty. The children are growing up and had many helpings of rice, but the staff kindly spoke to us, and we were very grateful for their thoughtfulness.

While calling itself the Property of Sashimi.

There is a tagline about being a Property specializing in sashimi, but the sashimi was quite ordinary. While the variety of dishes might be important, I would have preferred if only the truly delicious items were served. On the other hand, the other dishes, which I didn't have high expectations for, were very satisfying, with the seasoning, temperature, and other aspects being just right. Overall, the satisfaction level was high. However, the service was a bit lacking, and I felt it would be good to reconsider what it means to work in customer service.

    The sashimi is delicious.

The meals are very delicious. The sashimi, in particular, is exceptional. Since we stayed in a separate room, our family with children could enjoy our time without any worries. It would have been even better if the open-air bath was an onsen. The air conditioning made the room dry, so we hung wet towels to protect our toddler's throat, but later I wondered if we could have borrowed a humidifier. With air conditioning, a humidifier is essential. The staff at Stays are pleasant and make for a comfortable and nice property.

Spacious Room with Private Bath, Delicious Meals, and Cats!

I stayed with my wife for a two-day, one-night trip. The positive points were: ① the Room was spacious, ② there was a private bath available for free, ③ the meals included in the reserved Plan were very delicious and hearty, and ④ there were cats in the Ryokan, and if you're lucky, you might meet them! ① The Room was named "Buri," and it was a large Room with futons laid out, a relaxing space with a TV and table in the back, and a separate area with a toilet, washbasin, and refrigerator, so it didn't feel cramped at all. ② There were private baths that required a prior Reservation and a fee, and those that could be used for free when available. I used the free one. The water temperature was slightly warm, and you could adjust it by adding cold water, which was nice. The back Room had an open-air bath, with a well-structured design that allowed you to see the stars while maintaining privacy. ③ The meals included in the reserved Plan were very luxurious and hearty for both dinner and breakfast. Especially for dinner, there was so much food that it was almost too much to finish, and we were happily overwhelmed. During our visit, there were rare dishes like whole fried Kasago, which we enjoyed deliciously and with fun. ④ During breakfast, a cat came into the dining Room! Just as I thought the door was rattling, a cat named "Chacha" opened the door and came in by itself! It was a very friendly cat, rubbing against my legs until I finished eating and left, which was quite amusing. One point to be cautious about is that, due to the vibrant nature, I saw a spider the size of the back of my hand in the bath. Those who are not fond of spiders should be prepared. Also, for Plans with a private bath booked online, it might be smoother to Confirm the time you want to use it after check-in by phone. I enjoyed this Property so much that I want to come back to Chiba just for this Ryokan! Highly recommended!
