It was a quiet and pleasant Accommodation.
The Room was very clean, the meals were delicious, and the Onsen in each Room was wonderfully relaxing. We visited to celebrate my mother’s Respect for the Aged Day and her birthday, and we had an amazing day. I’d love to come again.

A charming Onsen Accommodation that captures the spirit of Rausu
This was a wonderful Accommodation that truly captured the spirit of Rausu, with a great atmosphere overall. The interior and guest room design, featuring extensive use of wood, was especially impressive and felt perfectly suited to the local character. The kelp tea (kombu-yu) served at check-in was delicious, and I appreciated this Rausu-style hospitality. The Onsen temperature was just right, making it very relaxing. On the other hand, there were a few areas that could be improved to make the stay even better. There was a slightly noticeable odor in some shared areas and near the elevators. Also, since Rausu is such an amazing destination, having a minibar in the room with local beer and dairy products would make the stay feel even more connected to the region. Regarding meals as well, because both the Accommodation itself and its location are so appealing, I felt that incorporating more local ingredients and stronger Rausu character would further increase satisfaction. The staff were very polite, and I really liked both the Onsen and the building itself, so I hope it continues to improve even more in the future.
