    The facilities are good, but there seem to be some issues with the service side.

    The building layout makes the flow of movement hard to understand. The breakfast venue is a good example: the food stations are located at one end, but the room is long and narrow, and there are no trays. You have to go back and forth through a narrow aisle many times, and the staff guidance and tableware setup are inadequate. With a bit more thought, this could be a higher-grade hotel. The in-room light switches are also inconvenient to use. Overall, it is good for a Candeo Hotels property.

    The location is very convenient.

    The facilities are new and clean, the location is great, and the staff’s service was excellent. I would love to stay here again.

    The rooms and service are excellent, but spa etiquette among guests can be an issue.

    The room was very clean and well maintained, and the staff’s service was excellent. However, perhaps because most guests are from overseas, poor etiquette in the signature Sky Spa (such as leaving towels behind) was noticeable, which was disappointing. Also, the amenities felt quite minimal. Given how wonderful the rooms and service are, I think this could be an even more comfortable and outstanding hotel if patrols in the large public bath and efforts to encourage proper spa etiquette were strengthened a bit more.

    We highly recommend the Sky Spa.

    By the window, there was a couch sofa, and it felt wonderful to lie back while looking down over Midosuji’s business district, City Hall, and the Bank of Japan. The hotel spa is highly recommended: the view from the 31st floor is excellent, and there is an open-air bath. There are hotels in Osaka with spas on upper floors as well, but this one is better. The breakfast venue also has sofa seating facing the windows, so you can enjoy your meal while taking in the view. The only drawback was that the toilet lacks depth, so my body would bump into the inner door when opening or closing it. Not considering usability inside the toilet—such as making the door narrower or using a sliding door—seems like a design mistake. I imagine it would be especially difficult for larger foreign guests.

    The view was truly soothing.

    At the spa, I could forget about time for a while and enjoy the city view. The water was pleasantly lukewarm, so I could soak and relax. Most guests were from overseas, but overall their manners were fairly good. If possible, I’d like you to post a notice asking guests to shower before entering the cold bath. Also, I would appreciate it if the sauna towels could be changed at least once every 90 minutes, or alternatively if sauna mats could be provided. The restroom door would be better if it opened outward. Overall, this is a hotel I’d like to stay at again. I stayed here for a concert at Festival Hall, and it was very close and convenient. The young woman at the front desk was warm and welcoming—it made me smile. Checked in at 2:00 PM on September 24, 2026.

    It feels like the ho...

    It feels like the hotel is mainly targeting foreign guests, which made it a bit difficult to use. The facilities and the large public bath were clean and satisfying, but isn’t the larger locker in the bath area pointless without a hanger? The food selection is good, but to be honest, the Japanese dishes—including the rice—taste bad.

    I was soothed by the window-side sofa and the wonderful view.

    The room was spotless and very clean. It was a twin room, but quite compact—so much so that we had to shift the table a bit to make space when sitting on the sofa. That said, the window-side sofa was extremely comfortable, and we were able to relax while enjoying the view. I understand it’s due to the layout, but the toilet area was also very small, and I bumped my knees a few times when opening and closing the door. The washbasin area was a little dim as well. There are plenty of mirrors, but it isn’t ideal for doing makeup, so I recommend using the powder room in the public bath in the morning. On the other hand, the public bath was excellent. When I first got in, the water felt quite lukewarm, but it gradually became properly warm and very relaxing. The views from both the room and the public bath were wonderful—I imagine you can enjoy great scenery from any room. Breakfast was delicious too, and overall I was very satisfied. This time we enjoyed daytime views, so next time I’d love to stay again during Nakanoshima’s illumination season.

    What a waste.

    Everything was excellent, but the floor cleaning in the Sky Spa was not great—there was trash on the floor and it felt slippery. I know it must be difficult with so many foreign guests, but it would be perfect if the area could be cleaned more frequently.

    I was disappointed.

    I was surprised because the restroom was difficult to access. I also felt that the towels on the sauna floor had not been changed for a long time. The wash area in the large public bath was inconvenient to use because there were no chairs, and there was a very long line at check-in. I don’t think I will return.

    Excellent facilities, service on par with a Business Hotel.

    Using the lounge increased my overall satisfaction. It may be unavoidable given the large number of guests, but I felt the guidance to the Facility and the breakfast venue was not very helpful. The staff quality felt like that of a Business Hotel or even below. It was unclear whether the training concept is aimed at a luxury Hotel or a Business Hotel. The building and Facility were excellent. The breakfast venue was relaxing, which was very nice. Handling that many people at check-in and check-out must be difficult as well. Thank you for your hard work.

    The staff’s attitude is extremely poor.

    I called about a lost item, but they kept insisting there was nothing like that. I repeatedly asked them to check the locker room, and they reluctantly said they would, with an unpleasant attitude. In the end, it was found. When ending the call, they also hung up first abruptly, which left me feeling uncomfortable. There were several staff members who were very unpleasant.

    The bath is amazing, but...

    The top-floor panoramic bath was amazing—offering a sense of openness and views you can’t experience at a Hotel in the city center! Since I wanted to relax, I think lowering the bath temperature a bit would make it easier to soak longer. Breakfast felt fairly standard, so it would be nice to have some signature menu items that highlight the Hotel’s strengths. I was happy with the wide variety of vegetables at the salad station, but because it takes time per person, lines formed and it didn’t feel ideal during busy mornings. A pre-portioned small-dish style might work better. The Room was also clean, and overall I thought it was a good stay.

    Great value for money in terms of location, views, and atmosphere.

    The nearest station is Yodoyabashi, with convenient access to anywhere in Osaka. JR Kitashinchi Station is also reasonably close. The view from the high floors overlooking Midosuji to the south is well worth it (my Room was upgraded as well). The mirror-heavy design can also feel luxurious in its own way. The sky-high large public bath and open-air bath are unique highlights you won’t find elsewhere. There are many foreign guests (especially Westerners), and plenty of Western travelers stay here. There’s also a gym and laundry facilities, and both were busy. Although the breakfast venue is spacious, it can feel a bit unsettled due to the crowds—sometimes your seat may be very far from the food—but it also offers great views, and for this price I was satisfied with everything overall.

    A stunning view and a cozy Room

    I had to stay on short notice and chose this Hotel based only on the idea of “a new Hotel near Umeda with a large public bath and great views” (it was convenient—about ¥1,000 by taxi from Osaka Station/Umeda). In the end, I was very satisfied, especially with the facilities (the building, the view, the Room, etc.). (The view may depend on which direction your Room faces.) The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets felt wonderful. The open-air bath on the top floor was also amazing—an incredible view unique to this Hotel. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and pleasant. Being able to move around the building in loungewear—and even have breakfast in it—was easy and really helpful. Overall, my impression is: “luxury-level facilities with a casual atmosphere,” like an upscale Business Hotel. It’s a balance that seems common but is actually hard to find. The only disappointment was breakfast. I went during the 9 o’clock hour and it was very crowded. For the number of guests, the buffet area felt too small—I wondered if it was a design issue. (There are two buffet areas, but only one was operating; if both were used, I think it would feel completely different.) Some dishes were lukewarm, and I felt there’s room for improvement in flavor as well. Since my Plan included breakfast it wasn’t too bad—but if it were an additional ¥4,000, honestly I wouldn’t order it next time. The view is outstanding though, so that part is recommended. Most guests were international visitors from all over the world—it almost felt like being abroad. It didn’t feel like Osaka at all; it felt special and out of the ordinary. Even though it was a weekday, check-in and check-out times were extremely busy, so shifting your timing might be best. This ended up being a long review—but it’s definitely a Hotel I’d love to stay at again.

    A Hotel with a breathtaking rooftop sky spa, an upscale lounge, and impressive Facilities.

    I stayed in a high-floor Executive Twin during a business trip to Osaka. Considering the location and the Accommodation Fee, the sense of luxury is outstanding. The interior feels refined throughout, the view from the room was excellent, and for this price range I felt the value for money was very high. Most impressive of all is the top-floor Sky Spa. The openness of soaking while looking out over Osaka is exceptional—it truly deserves to be called a “spa in the sky.” Spending time in the bath while enjoying the night view is one of the biggest reasons to stay at this Hotel. The executive lounge also had a great atmosphere, and I was able to relax in a calm setting. The breakfast venue was wonderful as well, and between the scenery and overall space it made for a pleasant start to the day. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Facility. That’s why it was disappointing that some guests’ manners detracted from it. At the Sky Spa, I noticed behavior such as swimming in the bath, taking up multiple washing stations alone, and leaving areas quite messy after use—issues that stood out among guests who appeared to be visiting from overseas. With such an excellent spa available, I hope management will strengthen guidance on proper use and increase staff patrols. Also, perhaps due to its Kitashinchi location, there were some guests with a distinctive vibe later at night. The Hotel itself is extremely well executed. In terms of location, luxury feel, views, Sky Spa, lounge, and breakfast—the hardware side delivered very high satisfaction. In particular, seeing Osaka from this “sky” Sky Spa is well worth experiencing at least once.

    Overall, it was very good, but the toilet door opens inward, which makes it difficult to get in. Unfortunately.

    The infinity open-air bath is amazing.

    Candeo Hotel in a high-rise building along Midosuji in Yodoyabashi, Osaka. The signature Candeo offerings are as great as ever: a breakfast buffet packed with local B-grade gourmet favorites, a sauna and large public bath that will leave you fully refreshed, and a long window-side sofa perfect for relaxing with drinks in your Room. On top of that, the restaurant and open-air bath make the most of the Midosuji-facing, high-floor location. The open-air bath is especially impressive—set on a corner of the building with views over Osaka Castle Park and the river, and designed as an infinity-style bath—creating one of Japan’s finest bathing spaces. Even including luxury hotels, it’s among the top one or two most accomplished hotels to have opened recently in Kansai. Highly recommended for both leisure trips and business stays.

    Fully geared toward inbound travelers.

    Pros - Great views - Good ventilation in the room Cons - The toilet has a push-style door - The large public bath was crowded with foreign guests and manners were poor (a lot of hair left in the sinks; someone took my slippers) - Far too few seats at breakfast (no seating guidance, so you end up wandering around after entering because there are no available tables) - Very limited breakfast selection, and the pickup area is very small

    For business use with a Multiple Night Stay of 3 nights.

    I stayed for three nights on a business trip. The Facility was luxurious and excellent. The in-room shower was also easy to use and very good. The location is just behind Kitashinchi, with plenty of restaurants nearby. If I had one request, the rooftop bath water temperature was lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. With many international guests, I wondered if it’s set that way to suit them. However, the meals were lavish, and considering the Facility and location, the value for money is outstanding.
