    The staff’s attitude is extremely poor.

    I called about a lost item, but they kept insisting they didn’t have anything. When I repeatedly asked them to check the locker room, they reluctantly said they would check with an unpleasant attitude. In the end, it was found, but when ending the call they hung up first right away, which left me feeling uncomfortable. There were several staff members who were very unpleasant.

    The bath is amazing, but...

    The top-floor panoramic bath was amazing, offering a sense of openness and views you can’t experience at a Hotel in the city center! Since I wanted to relax, I think lowering the bath temperature a bit more would make it easier to soak longer. Breakfast felt fairly standard, so I think it would be better to have some signature menu items that are unique to the Hotel. I was happy with the wide variety of vegetables at the salad station, but because it takes time per person, lines formed and it didn’t feel ideal during busy mornings. A self-serve option where staff portion items into small bowls might work better. The Room was also clean, and overall I thought it was very good.

    Great value for money in terms of location, views, and atmosphere.

    The nearest station is Yodoyabashi Station, with convenient access to anywhere in Osaka. JR Kitashinchi Station is also reasonably close. The view from the high floors overlooking Midosuji to the south is well worth it (my Room was upgraded as well). The mirror-heavy design also feels luxurious in its own way. The sky-high large public bath and open-air bath are unique highlights you can only experience here. There are many foreign guests (especially Westerners), and plenty of Western visitors stay here. There is also a gym and laundry facilities, and they were lively. The breakfast venue is spacious, but because it gets crowded, your seat may be very far from the food, which can feel a bit unsettled; however, the view there is also great, and for this price I was satisfied with everything overall.

    A Stunning View and a Cozy Room

    I had to stay on short notice and chose this Hotel based only on the information that it was “a new Hotel near Umeda with a large public bath and good views” (it was convenient—about ¥1,000 by taxi from Osaka Station/Umeda). In the end, I was very satisfied, especially with the facilities (the building, the view, the Room, etc.). (The view may depend on which direction your Room faces.) The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets felt great. The open-air bath on the top floor was also amazing, with scenery you can only get at this Hotel. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and pleasant. Being able to move around the building in loungewear—and even have breakfast in it—was easy and really helpful. Overall, my impression is: “Luxury-level facilities with a casual atmosphere—a high-end Business Hotel.” It’s a balance that seems like it should exist more often but actually doesn’t. The only disappointment was breakfast. I went during the 9 o’clock hour and it was very crowded overall. For the number of guests, the buffet area felt too small—almost like a design mistake. (There are two buffet areas, but only one was operating; if both were used, I think it would feel completely different.) Also, some dishes were cold, and I felt there’s room for improvement in taste as well. Since my Plan included breakfast it wasn’t too bad—but if it were an additional ¥4,000, honestly I wouldn’t order it next time. The view is outstanding though, so that part is recommended. Most guests were international visitors—and from all over the world—so it almost felt like being abroad. It didn’t feel like Osaka at all; it felt special and out of the ordinary. Even though it was a weekday, check-in and check-out times were extremely busy, so shifting your timing might be best. This ended up being quite long—but I’d definitely like to stay here again.

    A Hotel with a breathtaking Facility, featuring a sky spa in the heavens and a refined lounge.

    I stayed in a high-floor Executive Twin during a business trip to Osaka. Considering the location and the Accommodation Fee, the sense of luxury is outstanding. The interior feels refined throughout, the view from the room was excellent, and for this price range I felt the value for money was very high. The highlight is the top-floor Sky Spa. The openness of bathing while taking in a panoramic view of Osaka is exceptional—it truly deserves to be called a “spa in the sky.” Soaking in the bath while enjoying the night view is one of the biggest reasons to stay at this Hotel. The Executive Lounge also had a great atmosphere, and I was able to relax in a calm setting. Breakfast was wonderful as well; with both the scenery and space, it made for a pleasant start to the day. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Facility. That’s why it was disappointing that some guests’ manners detracted from it. At the Sky Spa, I noticed behavior such as swimming in the bath, occupying multiple washing stations alone, and leaving areas quite messy after use—mainly by guests who appeared to be visiting from overseas. Given how excellent this spa is, I hope management will strengthen guidance on proper use and increase staff patrols. Also, perhaps due to its Kitashinchi location, there were some guests at night with a distinctive vibe. The Hotel itself is extremely well executed. In terms of location, luxury feel, views, Sky Spa, lounge, and breakfast—the hardware side delivered very high satisfaction. In particular, seeing Osaka from this “sky” spa is absolutely worth experiencing at least once.

    Overall, it was very good, but the toilet door opens inward, which makes it difficult to get in. Unfortunately.

    The infinity open-air bath is amazing.

    Candeo Hotel located in a high-rise building along Midosuji in Yodoyabashi, Osaka. The signature Candeo offerings are as great as ever: a breakfast buffet packed with local B-grade gourmet favorites, a sauna and large public bath that will leave you fully refreshed, and a long window-side sofa perfect for relaxing with drinks in your Room. In addition, the restaurant and open-air bath make the most of the prime Midosuji-facing, high-floor location. The open-air bath is especially impressive—set on a corner of the building where you can enjoy views of Osaka Castle Park and the river, and designed as an infinity-style bath—creating one of Japan’s finest bathing spaces. Among recently opened hotels in Kansai—including luxury hotels—it ranks at or near the very top in overall quality. Highly recommended for both leisure trips and business stays.

    Pros - Great views - Good ventilation in the room Cons - The toilet has a push-style door - The large public bath was crowded with foreign guests and manners were poor (a lot of hair left in the sinks; someone took my slippers) - Far too few seats at breakfast (no seating guidance, so you end up wandering around after entering because there are no available tables) - Very limited breakfast selection, and the pickup area is very small

    For business use with a Multiple Night Stay of 3 nights.

    I stayed for three nights on a business trip. The Facility was luxurious and excellent. The in-room shower was also easy to use and very good. The location is just behind Kitashinchi, with plenty of restaurants nearby. If I had one request, the rooftop bath water temperature was lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. With many international guests, I wondered if it’s set that way to suit them. However, the meals were lavish, and considering the Facility and location, the value for money is outstanding.
