We stayed for two nights during the July long weekend.
To escape Tokyo’s heat after the rainy season, I stayed at this Accommodation near Lake Nojiri for two nights. In short, it was a wonderful experience. Needless to say, the Facility is brand-new and newly opened, and the unobstructed, majestic views of Mt. Myoko and Mt. Kurohime from the Room felt almost unreal. Above all, I was truly moved by the outstanding hospitality of everyone at the Hotel. I have quite a few food dislikes, and they kindly prepared special dishes to accommodate my requests—I’m sincerely grateful. The meals still made generous use of local ingredients, and every dish was excellent. I also enjoyed watching the food being prepared right in front of me, followed by a lively conversation with the chef afterward. On a day when I had to leave early and couldn’t have breakfast at the Hotel, they instead made hearty onigiri for me to take along. I feel that with just one night you might not be able to fully experience everything this Hotel offers, so if possible I recommend staying two nights or more. I would love to visit again in another season. I often use IKYU for Accommodation Reservations, but after this stay I felt compelled to write a comment for the first time.

A Satisfying Stay
Because the Hotel had only just opened and there was also a typhoon forecast before our stay, I arrived feeling a little anxious, but in the end I’m glad we chose this place. From the pickup at Kurohime Station, I felt reassured, and it truly felt like the stay had already begun on the way to the Hotel. When I entered the room, a calm space surrounded by rich nature opened up before me, and I felt excited knowing I could relax here. It rained often during our stay, but the fresh greenery of Mt. Myoko seen from the window was truly beautiful. The misty forest viewed from the bath and, at night, the moonlit mountain silhouette seen from bed after raising the blackout screen were especially memorable. The room was fully equipped with appliances, and there was also a great selection of snacks and drinks—it was fun just looking through everything as we spent time inside. Dinner suited the atmosphere of the Hotel perfectly and gave us a wonderful sense of escape from everyday life. It had a refined French touch, and in particular, dessert left a strong impression. The next day we had to change our plans due to the typhoon’s impact, but I really appreciated how kindly and thoroughly the staff offered advice and support. Although we can’t say we were lucky with weather this time, it was still a very satisfying stay. I’d love to visit again in another season.
