    First Stay

This stay became a truly memorable experience. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles, guided us around the Accommodation with great care, and showed thoughtful attention to every detail—service that naturally made us want to return. We felt comfortable throughout our stay. The Onsen was, simply put, outstanding. Our Room had a private open-air bath that we could enjoy all to ourselves. The water temperature was perfect, and from the moment we stepped in, it felt as if all the tension left our body. Soaking slowly while looking out over the beautiful forest was pure bliss, and we enjoyed it many times during our stay. The amenities also had a wonderful fragrance and quickly became a favorite. We chose the sake tasting Plan, and each selection had its own character and was fun to compare. As a sake lover, I was especially happy to be able to order Hiroki Aiyama separately—an exceptionally rare bottle—so finding it on the menu genuinely thrilled me. It paired perfectly with Aizu dishes such as herring marinated with Japanese pepper leaves. Being able to enjoy such precious sake while traveling is a truly luxurious memory, and it felt like something unique to an Accommodation in Aizu. They also lend inflatable rings for the Onsen. At first I thought, “An inflatable ring in an Onsen?” but after trying it, I was honestly amazed by how comfortable it was. Floating effortlessly while soaking lets you relax even more deeply than usual. It made me appreciate both their creativity and their playful desire for guests to fully enjoy the Onsen experience. The inflatable ring left a strong impression—I could soak almost face-down in complete relaxation. The cuisine, Onsen, and service were all excellent; this wasn’t an Accommodation where only one aspect stood out—the entire experience was consistently high quality. Thoughtful care could be felt everywhere, and the whole place overflowed with genuine hospitality. People say travel is defined by where you stay, and this visit truly proved that saying right. From the superb Onsen and heartwarming service to the eye-opening inflatable ring experience, it became a wonderful trip filled with great memories. We would love to visit again in another season—thank you very much.”

    Memories with my wife.

Compared with the time I stayed here with my wife before, the bath used to have a metallic smell, but this time it was rich in metasilicic acid and left my skin smooth—it was excellent.\nHowever, compared with last time, the meals were very disappointing. I felt that the management may have changed.

An accommodation where you can enjoy a large room and a spacious open-air bath in the guest room, but the meals are disappointing.

The large Room and the huge open-air bath are arguably the biggest—perhaps the only—standout features. As for the Onsen, I have stayed in many Rooms with private open-air baths in the past, but this one is overwhelmingly spacious—about the size of an outdoor bath at a public bathhouse. The Room is well equipped with free drinks (including alcohol), coffee you can grind from beans with a mill, a massage chair, and a Bluetooth speaker. With such a large Onsen included, it feels like the concept is to spend your entire stay in the Room. One minor point: there were two beers provided, both craft beers—one quite sour and one an IPA—which may be polarizing. It would be nice if at least one easier-to-drink option such as a lager or pilsner were included. The Onsen was slightly cloudy but had no noticeable taste or smell, so it didn’t feel particularly distinctive. There is a low divider inside the tub that separates hotter and cooler areas, which was convenient (you can move depending on how warmed up you are; my wife who doesn’t like very hot baths could also enjoy it). Another minor point: a hose that seems to be used for cleaning was left out in plain sight, and I was also bothered by how dirty the koi pond outside the bathroom area looked. They lend you inflatable rings at check-in, but because of the odor it instantly ruined any Onsen atmosphere for us, so we didn’t use them at all. Meals are also served in-room. There are many dishes, but they are brought out all at once in two rounds (cold items and hot items), rather than being served freshly prepared dish by dish. Even though they say they split it up, everything—including rice—is on the table within about 15 minutes of starting dinner, so by the time you get to what should be warm dishes they have largely cooled down. That was very disappointing. To be honest, even if everything had been served fresh off the stove it still would have tasted underwhelming. Considering this price range, I felt the food quality was extremely low. Lastly—again minor points: - Female staff name tags show first names only - Information promoting other group Hotels run by the operating company is pushed in various places such as at reception and in guidebooks These slightly detracted from what should have been an atmospheric Accommodation experience.

The in-room open-air bath is outstanding.

The in-room open-air bath was truly wonderful. With free-flowing natural Onsen water and plenty of space, I could relax and enjoy the bath without worrying about time or anyone around me. At check-in, it was recommended to us, and we were also able to borrow a swim ring. Spending the evening soaking in the Onsen while floating and gazing at the moon was pure bliss—something you rarely get to experience at other Accommodation. There are handrails by the open-air bath as well, making it easy to get in and out. The meals were flawless, and the add-on horse sashimi in particular was outstanding! Also, thank you very much for your kind assistance despite the inconvenience caused by my oversight when making the Reservation.

    Second stay. The ple...

Second stay. The pleasant temperature of the open-air bath in the spacious guest room remains the same even when the season changes. I wonder how they keep it at just the right temperature in both the evening and morning. A relaxing Accommodation—on my next stay, I’d like to uncover that mystery. The bedroom has futons on tatami mats, but as I get older, a bed is more comfortable. Do you have any Rooms with beds? If so, I’d like to choose one next time.
