  An Accommodation you’ll truly want to return to from the bottom of your heart

  I don’t usually write Reviews, but this Accommodation was so wonderful that I really wanted to leave one. Although it faces the street, the moment you open the door and step inside, it feels like a different world. The first thing that catches your eye is the beautiful garden. The carefully chosen furniture was also truly lovely, and I heard that each Room has a different interior style. The Room was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed a relaxing stay with the Onsen and sauna. The amenities were more than sufficient—everything felt high quality, and we could sense thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Drinks were available free of charge, including beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee—and even shochu and whisky. As people who enjoy alcohol, we were thrilled with the selection. The scent in the Room was also very pleasant; there was a lovely aroma diffuser provided along with original oils from the Accommodation. We liked the fragrance so much that we bought the oil at the Accommodation—and after returning home, we even purchased the same diffuser (laughs). Dinner (Italian) and breakfast (Japanese), served about a 5-minute walk away, were both excellent, and we could really feel their commitment to using ingredients from Kagoshima. Not only was the food outstanding—we were also deeply impressed by everyone’s hospitality. On the way to the restaurant there’s a beautiful river and nature scenery; being able to see Kirishima-Jingu Station in its different morning and evening atmospheres became a great memory as well. The in-room Onsen can be adjusted to your preferred temperature by adding water to fresh spring water from source—something I especially appreciated since I’m not good with very hot baths. Even so, you can still clearly enjoy that distinctive spring aroma, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. Everyone at Kasumi-san interacted with us at just the right distance—attentive without being intrusive—so we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you as well for taking time to chat with us even after check-out. It truly was a happy stay. This is an Accommodation I would love to visit again.

  We had an amazing time in Kirishima.

  Away from the bustle of everyday life, I was able to spend a truly relaxing time. My stay at “Kasumi-san” was pure bliss. Every corner of the Accommodation had a refined, calming atmosphere, and I could feel IFOO’s attention to detail throughout—from the design to the architecture. In the quietly flowing time, I was able to savor this rich space at a leisurely pace. The chicken rice breakfast made with chicken broth simmered for four hours was also exceptional. This is the best Accommodation imaginable. I will definitely return.

  First-time stay

  I stayed here for the first time with a friend. Surrounded by a quiet environment in and around the Accommodation, we were able to enjoy a relaxed pace of time that felt different from everyday life. As it was completed last year, the Facility was clean, and we could feel the attention to detail not only in the furnishings but also in elements such as the Room’s color scheme, making for a calm and comfortable stay. I would definitely like to stay again.

  It made me feel truly pampered.

  The furniture selection and the way the fixtures fit together were beautifully done, creating a wonderful space. The Room we stayed in had an indoor sauna, an Onsen bath, and a cold plunge, making for a truly luxurious stay. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, from the amenities to the tea and snacks—an Accommodation I would definitely recommend to others!

  I was able to enjoy ...

  I was able to enjoy a truly luxurious stay. The private Onsen/sauna in the detached annex allowed me to relax without worrying about anyone around me, and it was a restorative getaway that helped both body and mind unwind away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The amenities and drink selection were also excellent, and I could feel the attentive hospitality in every detail. I was also impressed that each guest room has a different layout; you can sense the unique character of each space and the careful attention to materials and textures, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay.
