    After arriving at It...

    After arriving at Itami Airport from Okinawa, I headed to Arima Onsen on short notice to soothe my tired, aching body. I was glad I could find a place to stay even at the last minute. Although I’m from the Kansai area, it was surprisingly my first time visiting Arima Onsen. I enjoyed both Kin no Yu and the meals. The late-night tantan noodles were especially delicious.

    The in-room Onsen, w...

    The in-room Onsen, where you can enjoy free-flowing Kinsen (golden hot spring water) straight from the source, was one of the main reasons I chose this Accommodation. I had wanted to try it for a long time, and being able to relax and truly enjoy it was wonderful. The room was also well maintained and very clean. Overall, the stay itself was comfortable. On the other hand, I had a few concerns about the service. All of the staff were friendly and pleasant, and I had a good impression of their hospitality overall. However, during meals there were several small mistakes that happened more than once, which did stand out. Also, when we entered the room, a few amenities were missing. They responded immediately after we contacted them, so I have no complaints about how they handled it, but it would have been better if this had been checked before showing us to the room. In addition, there was no particular assistance with luggage upon arrival or guidance to the room. Considering this Accommodation’s price range as well as the quality of its Onsen and rooms, that felt somewhat minimal. The Onsen and rooms are highly appealing; for that reason all the more, if day-to-day operations and service details were improved just a bit further, I believe this is an Accommodation where the overall impression of the stay could become even better.

    It was excellent.

    It was farther from the Onsen town than I expected, but when I contacted them, they came to pick me up right away. It’s difficult to leave your luggage at the Hotel and go out for a walk, so I left it at the tourist information center both days. The Hotel was very clean, and the staff were great. The food was delicious, and my first time at Kin no Yu was amazing. You order drinks and other items via smartphone, but since I didn’t know much about the drinks, I asked the staff for advice—they explained everything carefully and I really enjoyed it.

    I made a Reservation...

    I made a Reservation on the day because I decided to visit Arima Onsen. Since I expected to arrive late, I chose a plan with breakfast only, but the breakfast buffet was so delicious that I regretted not adding dinner as well. The Room had just been renovated, so it felt very clean and comfortable. The Room had only a toilet, so I rated the Facility 4/5 and wished there had been at least a shower; next time, I’d like to stay in a Room with free-flowing Kin-sen hot spring water. Thank you to all the staff.

    花も団子も旅行も

    A beautifully renovated Accommodation with free-flowing Kin-sen hot spring water.

    I stayed solo this time, and it was an Accommodation I was truly satisfied with. The Onsen, filled continuously with free-flowing golden mineral water, felt especially luxurious. I was told it comes directly from the source right next to the Hotel. I couldn’t help soaking again and again—it was deeply relaxing and absolutely wonderful!! The meals were delicious as well; the Taikozen served at the start was so good I could have enjoyed drinks with it all night. I also heard there are Rooms with free-flowing golden mineral water in the guest Room, so next time I’ll be back with my family—and aiming for one of those Rooms!

    Great Onsen and dining

    Even though we booked on the same day, it was a wonderful stay—from the Reservation process to the staff’s service. We were able to enjoy the Onsen many times. We had only seen information about dinner on the website, but breakfast exceeded our expectations as well! We’ll be back again!

    The seating at dinner felt too cramped. Even though we were told to take our time, it was hard to relax.

    It was my first stay.

    We stayed with my elderly parents. On the day we stayed, there were no group guests, and it seemed to be mostly individual guests, so we were able to relax and take our time in both the bath and at meals. They also arranged our Room on the 4th floor, which made it easy to get to the bath. The food was delicious, and all the staff were kind and attentive, which made my parents very happy. We would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

    The free-flowing Onsen is exceptional.

    I love Kobe and visit several times a year. This time, because it offers free-flowing Onsen water direct from the source, I stayed at Kamenoi Hotel for the first time. The Hotel is located a bit uphill from the Arima Onsen town area, so it takes some walking, but there are a few shortcuts from the Hotel, which was convenient. The inside of the Hotel was clean, and my Room was comfortable. The Onsen was excellent—better than other Hotels in Arima Onsen, in my opinion. The meals were also delicious. If I had to mention one thing, I think it would be even better if the Shuttle Service ran on a schedule so guests could use it freely multiple times rather than just one round trip. The uphill walk back was pretty tough (laughs). I love Arima Onsen, so I’d like to stay here again next time.

    We stayed here last ...

    We stayed here last year after searching for a place “nearby where kids can fully enjoy themselves,” based on our grandchild’s request to “eat crab.” (Plenty of crab!) This year we had the same request, so we came back—and the renovation was amazing. It was wonderful. As I felt last year as well, the food is delicious, and the children’s meals are not an afterthought—they are properly prepared and, of course, very tasty. (The crab is an all-you-can-eat style anyway… and the kids enjoyed it, so that was fine.) Breakfast has improved significantly. The variety, presentation, and taste were all excellent. So much that you can’t possibly try everything in just one day… The large public bath was standard, but the Room’s private golden hot spring bath was fantastic—I enjoyed the free-flowing water again and again. The Room size and furnishings were lovely. We also borrowed “The Game of Life” and had so much fun we lost track of time. We look forward to staying with you again.
