    I’d love to stay here again.

    My spouse and I stayed with our dog. The meals, the Onsen, and all the staff were wonderful—especially the food, which was outstanding.

    We visited with my husband and our two Chihuahuas. This was our second stay.\nBecause we were very satisfied last time, we decided to return.\nThis time as well, we were able to relax with our two dogs while enjoying delicious meals and the Onsen.\nWe could soak in the Onsen at a leisurely pace, and it was truly soothing both physically and mentally.\nWe appreciated your wine recommendations, and it was great to be able to enjoy them by the glass.\nMy husband and I eat quite a lot, so we were also grateful for the options to increase the portions of pasta and meat.\nMt. Fuji viewed from the clean Room—kept spotless with thorough housekeeping—was absolutely beautiful.\nOur Chihuahuas seemed to love their dog meals too—they finished everything quickly,\nand we really appreciated that you accommodated additional requests and even finely chopped the meat for them.\nThis time we didn’t use the dog run or the spa for dogs,\nbut they still went outside a little, slept soundly, ate delicious food, and looked very happy.\nPerhaps they learned how to get to the restaurant at dinner, because at breakfast they eagerly walked straight there.\nI also felt completely full, went to bed early in a comfortable bed, and slept very well.\nThank you for such a pleasant and delicious stay.

    We were extremely satisfied.

    This was my first stay here. I have stayed at other Regina Resorts before, so I felt reassured, but this exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome on arrival by car to the attentive check-in service, everything was handled with great care. I was a little worried that the standard Room might feel small, but it was well designed, compact, and very easy to use. The Italian dinner was delicious and left both my stomach and heart full. Breakfast was also satisfying, and the staff were thoughtful and wonderful throughout. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Outstanding even among Regina properties.

    I’ve stayed at two properties in Karuizawa, two in Hakone, and also Regina at Lake Kawaguchi, and this one was the best. Everything about the Facility felt new, clean, and uncluttered. The view of Mt. Fuji from every Room was breathtaking, and the Onsen baths—including the open-air bath—were outstanding. I ended up soaking five times: after arrival, before dinner, after dinner, before breakfast, and after breakfast. The Italian cuisine was exceptional—high quality with just the right portions. Each ingredient stood out, the preparation was superb, and of course it looked beautiful as well. Regina properties are generally strong on food. My only personal note is that about half of the wine selection leaned toward domestic wines; I’d love to see more Italian options such as Tuscan reds to pair with the dishes. That said, Japanese wines are popular lately and with the weak yen it makes business sense. For dogs: there was a dog pool—and even dog life jackets—so our dog finally had a proper pool debut (at Hakone Sengokuhara in the past he basically just sank). We also enjoyed the Onsen for dogs. We visited the dog run many times, and our dog happily ate both dinner and breakfast. If I had to ask for one more thing, having a bar like at Karuizawa Mikage Yosui would make it perfect from a Facility standpoint. This time we made a last-minute Reservation for a smaller Room, but next time we’re thinking of staying in a larger Room. We’ll definitely be back. Bonus) As an Onsen lover’s personal comparison: Old Karuizawa — no Onsen (location is excellent) Karuizawa Mikage Yosui — no Onsen Hakone Sengokuhara — has an Onsen but only a medium-sized indoor bath (the in-room open-air bath is not Onsen) Hakone Ungaiso — has an in-room open-air bath but if it’s round you can’t fully stretch your legs; no large public bath Fuji (Lake Kawaguchi) — has an indoor Onsen bath; the large public bath is shared with other Accommodation(s)

    The staff are wonderful.

    Thank you very much for taking care of us yesterday and today. It was our first time staying with Regina Resort, and we had been really looking forward to it. There was nothing at all that concerned us, and we were able to enjoy a wonderfully comfortable and luxurious time. At home, I’m very careful to make sure there’s no dust or items on the floor, but every area of the property was extremely clean with no pet odor at all, so we could stay with our dog with complete peace of mind. I felt that thorough cleaning is carried out so both dogs and their owners can feel safe and comfortable. From the restaurant we could see a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, making mealtime feel truly special. The “Fuji Garden Farm Super White Corn Chilled Potage” and the “Domestic Beef Sirloin Steak” were delicious—we would love to have them again. The Room was very clean and spacious enough for two adults and one dog. We were also happy to see Mt. Fuji from the window. The Room we stayed in had easy access to the large public bath, which was very convenient. The large public bath also had an open-air bath, which felt wonderful. All of the staff were pleasant, and their service was just right, so we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. For our dog’s birthday photo session—since our dog can’t sit still—I’m sure it must have been difficult to take photos. Even so, you worked hard to capture them for us, which made us very happy. Thank you so much; it became a wonderful memory. On the day we left, while taking our dog for a walk, we stopped by the biotope on the grounds where there were tadpoles—and even stag beetles living there—so my son happily caught them. We always want to enjoy nature when visiting around Lake Yamanaka as well, so it was soothing right up until departure. We felt truly refreshed and made great memories. We would love to visit again in another season and look forward to enjoying your cuisine then as well.

    I was able to spend a relaxing time.

    As the Accommodation has only been open for a year, it was very clean, well designed with smooth flow throughout, and a comfortable space to stay in. The meals were also very delicious for a pet-friendly Accommodation. The staff were friendly and approachable, and often spoke to us casually. The only downside was that the large public bath felt a bit small. I think it would feel more reassuring if there were a few more washing stations. Also, we weren’t lucky with the weather this time and couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, which was disappointing—so I’d love to come back and try again!

    Traveling with Your Dog

    I stayed for one night on July 4 and was warmly welcomed. The staff member who guided me to the parking area was also very pleasant. The meals were delicious. It was an Accommodation that was kind to dogs as well.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    This was my first time staying here. The staff were very kind to our two dogs, and the amenities were well prepared. There was no odor, and everything felt very clean. We also enjoyed playing in the dog run. The meals were delicious! However, I wish breakfast started a little earlier. I really appreciated that you promptly shipped the glasses I forgot by courier the very next day—thank you so much.
