We were very satisfied.
We stayed in a first-floor Room, and both the Room and the Onsen were spacious, allowing us to relax in great comfort. The tea served at check-in in our Room was truly delicious. It was the first time we’ve stayed at an Accommodation where we could freely enjoy such carefully selected tea and black tea. The selection of welcome drinks and snacks in the Room was also plentiful. I love drinking tea with good water, so having 2L of water provided was a personal highlight. I also appreciated having both yukata and loungewear. The staff were very kind. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We had a relaxing stay.
I stayed in a first-floor Room with an open-air bath. Since there were no meals included, I was able to relax and take my time. The Onsen heats up quickly, and once you get past the initial waves, you can soak comfortably for a long time. The next day, my stomach felt great. There’s a convenience store nearby, and if you walk a little farther there are plenty of restaurants, so if you’re fine without meals included, this is a very good option. If I had to say one thing, it would be even better if checkout were at 11:00 so you could take it easy the next morning as well. Since there were no meals included, I spent the time sleeping and soaking in the Onsen—but before I knew it, it was 15 minutes before checkout.

Petit Kinchiku
This was my first time staying here. Since I stayed at Kintake in Sengokuhara the day before, I’d like to share a comparison. As for the Room, of course Sengokuhara is more upscale, but while there is less bamboo in the interior here, it has a similar Kintake-style feel. The bed was fine, though it felt slightly less plush. Perhaps the walls are thin—I noticed noise from next door and from upstairs. I stayed in autumn so I can’t say for sure, but in winter it may feel cold outside the Room since there is no heating in the hallway. The amenities were almost the same as Sengokuhara, which felt like a great value. Service is minimal since there are No Meals Included, but they handled emergencies properly and reliably. The Onsen is probably almost the same as Sengokuhara—I was very satisfied and felt it was an excellent deal. Regarding the Facility and equipment: since this wasn’t originally built as an Accommodation, it’s understandable, but it does feel a bit plain and not particularly glamorous. There are no meals provided, but there are several restaurants nearby so you can still enjoy dining out. I recommend making a Reservation in advance. Overall, considering both the quality of Owakudani’s Onsen and the price, I was very satisfied. If you want to keep costs down while fully enjoying an Onsen stay with No Meals Included on a relaxing day off, this place is highly recommended. P.S.: To the staff—thank you very much for your quick help when I got injured in my Room.

Very satisfied.
I stayed at this Accommodation, which has offered a No Meals Included plan since July 3 this year. I arrived a little early and was planning to wait outside, but they welcomed me with a smile and said it was fine because everything was ready. The building is small, but very clean and well maintained. My Room was Ten on the second floor. It was spacious and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. The refrigerator had two cans each of beer, cola, and tea, plus one 2-liter bottle of water. On the desk there were potato chips and other snacks, as well as chocolate and cheese. Although it’s No Meals Included only, there are restaurants and convenience stores within a 5–10 minute walk. There is no TV in the Room, so I could relax quietly. However, it was disappointing that all the shoji windows were fixed shut and couldn’t be opened to enjoy the view outside. The private open-air bath is located at the very back on the first floor. It was more spacious than I expected, making it easy to stretch out and unwind comfortably. The hot spring water is milky white, sourced from Owakudani. Not being tied to dinner or breakfast times made for an especially relaxing stay—even on a No Meals Included trip—and I was completely satisfied! I’d love to drop by again sometime.
