    The location is the only good thing...

    I guess it really comes down to the Accommodation Fee. Within or near the Yamanote Line, you could never stay for this price with a Room this size. It would probably cost twice as much. So I suppose it’s all about the location. If you want to hang out in central Tokyo, having to take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho (the Rinkai Line station is a bit far) and then go all the way to Osaki is tough! Even if you shop around the Yamanote Line area, you don’t feel like going back to the Hotel just to drop off your bags. It’s more like: leave in the morning and come back after dinner. For that kind of stay, I think it’s an incredibly good-value Hotel. Compared with places along the Yamanote Line, for the same price you can stay in a Room that’s more than twice as spacious—and cleaner too. The Room was very clean. The bathroom, toilet, and sink area were also clean with no issues at all. Even though there are two separate controls for air conditioning, I couldn’t get it to reach my intended room temperature... I had seen other guests mention this in their Reviews, so I understood and made my Reservation anyway. But there was an electric heater provided, which really helped—it was very useful (lol). Breakfast was buffet-style and there were lots of manga books—an atmosphere I’ve never experienced before. It felt unusual at first, but it was nice overall, and the seating was comfortable. Given this Accommodation Fee, I was satisfied with the food selection. Just one thing: for egg dishes you write your order on paper and Hotel staff bring it to your table, but then you still have to take it yourself to add ketchup, so it ends up being an extra step. Of course you can just wait until it’s ready or go pick it up yourself. Over 2 nights/3 days, we only actually ran into two Japanese groups, so maybe manga-loving Western guests stay here and read manga all day (lol). Considering both the Accommodation Fee and the Room quality, if you can manage around the location in your own way, it’s a Hotel that should be more than satisfying—so I’d be happy to stay again.

    Celebration

    We stayed at the accommodation while celebrating and using the library. A celebration was prepared in the room, and my daughter was overjoyed! We would love to visit again. The front desk staff provided courteous service.

    It has undergone a wonderful transformation.

    The location is directly connected to the station, which is why I have frequently used it since its previous days as a Hotel. While the building is old and features like electrical switches are outdated, the Room and first-floor restaurant have been beautifully renovated, making me want to stay again. The night view is also stunning. One point of concern: bottled beverages (such as ginger ale) are sold near the front desk, but there was no bottle opener in the Room, which caused some inconvenience. It would be helpful if an opener could be provided upon purchase.
