    Relax in Tokyo

    We stayed here as a family for the first time to make one last summer vacation memory. We chose this Hotel because it’s close to home and has a pool. As soon as we stepped inside, it felt like an escape from everyday life. The kids were thrilled and had so much fun playing in the pool. We also enjoyed the complimentary monaka served from 3:00 PM and the soup served from 9:00 PM, and we had plenty of coffee and juice as well. It’s not cheap, but it’s a Hotel we’d love to stay at again.

    For those looking to recharge nearby

    Since our family couldn’t align schedules during summer vacation and we couldn’t go anywhere, we decided on a spontaneous one-night weekend stay. It’s only a few dozen minutes from Shinjuku, but it was very refreshing. The Room is wonderful. The design and interior are excellent. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, so there’s plenty to see and do. One thing: I was looking forward to the infinity pool, but it is in a fully paid area. It’s not something you can just stroll by poolside casually. Guests aged 16 and under are not allowed to enter the entire area after 6:00 p.m. I understand that there are many couples at night, but I would appreciate it if access could be allowed until around 7:30 p.m. On the other hand, it opens from 7:00 a.m., so we were able to enjoy it in the morning. For breakfast, we chose Japanese cuisine from a menu carefully curated by the head chef with experience at a traditional Kyoto restaurant; it was truly delicious for adults. The simmered eggplant was exceptional. Considering everything included, I felt it was reasonably priced for what you get. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you for your valuable time and hospitality.

    Infinity Pool with the Grandkids

    I stayed with my daughter and my grandchildren—an infant, a toddler, and an elementary school student. Both the kids and my daughter loved the rooftop pool. It was pleasantly uncrowded for a Hotel pool, with great views—absolutely wonderful. It’s close to our home, which was ideal because long car rides can be tough with small children. I also got to stay at this Hotel I’d always wanted to try, and we truly enjoyed our summer vacation.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    After check-in, it was great to have sweet potato chips, monaka wafers, and drinks such as sparkling wine in the lounge. They also poured iced coffee into my bottle, so I could relax in the Room and enjoy it while taking in the view. Since check-out is at 12:00, I was able to swim in the infinity pool and unwind in the jacuzzi as well. The Sorano Hotel I had been wanting to visit was amazing.

    It was a good Hotel.

    The guest room and bathroom were spacious, and the room was very clean. We had a Multiple Night Stay during several rainy days, but it was great to be able to relax on the large balcony in the morning and evening. We tried both the Western- and Japanese-style breakfasts; both were very delicious, and it was also nice that each came with a salad that could be refilled. At night, we ate at the rooftop bar without a Reservation. The food was delicious and on par with the quality of the Hotel’s restaurants, though there seems to be room for improvement in the kids’ menu.

    The Room is very nice.

    Although COVID-19 is still circulating, I was very concerned that most staff were not wearing masks. People in customer-facing roles who interact with many guests have a much higher chance of being infected, and even a few minutes of conversation without masks can lead to transmission. I understand that the person guiding cars in the parking lot may be hot and it may be difficult to wear a mask, but at minimum I would like the front desk and restaurant staff to wear masks. I would also appreciate it if staff could respond with masks when assisting guests who are wearing them. That said, the staff were pleasant and there were no issues other than masking. The Room was spacious, clean, and excellent. The restaurant terrace seating also had plenty of distance from neighboring tables and felt comfortable; when tables are close together, virus-containing droplets can travel up to about three meters. In addition to COVID-19, other troublesome infectious diseases such as hand-foot-and-mouth disease, influenza, and measles can also spread, so I hope you will continue infection-control measures. I would hate to bring a virus home or into my workplace after catching it from Hotel staff. To repeat: guests who wear masks often do so because they cannot afford to get infected (e.g., caregivers or healthcare workers). Could you please have staff wear masks when serving masked guests?

    Luxury Hotel in Tachikawa

    I was able to relax and spend quality time with my grandchild. The service at the IMA Lounge after playing in the water was excellent. We were allowed to park at the entrance, and we were truly impressed by the courteous female and male staff who bowed until our car was out of sight. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    We stayed with our 0...

    We stayed with our 0-year-old child. We contacted the Hotel in advance and borrowed a baby crib, diaper disposal bin, high chair, and baby bath. They also kindly helped us warm up baby food and sterilize bottles in the microwave, so we felt this Hotel was very comfortable for families with children. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. This is a Hotel we would recommend to others.

    A bit disappointing.

    Although I have stayed here many times, I feel that the hospitality and service have gradually declined. I choose this Hotel expecting a relatively upscale experience, but recently the front desk staff seem to be mainly young, inexperienced women who provide only standard responses, and I do not feel much attentiveness. There is lounge service, but the staff there also vary—some are pleasant while others are not. I used the restaurant once in the past, but considering both the service and the food, I felt it was poor value for money; since then, I have been dining at nearby restaurants instead. Recently, Business Hotels have improved in quality, and depending on the situation they can be cheaper and offer better value. As for amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body soap (in dispensers), towels, and loungewear are provided in the Room, but there is nothing else at all—not even a toothbrush. In my experience, it is rare to find a Hotel with so few amenities. Compared with other upscale Hotels overall it does not feel very good at present, which is disappointing. I would be happy if there were some special services that other Hotels do not offer. I will be visiting Tachikawa again soon; for now I am thinking of staying at another Hotel for a while. If I stay again next time, I hope both the service offerings and hospitality will have improved.

    Um, what about dinner?

    This is a Hotel I’ve always wanted to stay at. The Room was very practical, the lounge was quiet (I didn’t expect there would even be late-night soup), and above all, the kind and warm hospitality was wonderful. What disappointed me, however, was dinner. I had visited for lunch several times, so I chose a Plan with dinner without thinking too much—but I never expected the meal itself to be charged separately. I have seen courses where “drinks are extra,” but not this. On top of that, the first salad had wilted lettuce, and the acqua pazza was served on a flat plate that made it hard to scoop up the broth (perhaps for social-media appeal—stylish, but not considerate of guests). The pork spare ribs were far too strongly seasoned for me and didn’t seem to pair well with the conger eel rice that was recommended as an additional charge. I understand food preferences vary so I don’t want to complain too much, but if rice and clear soup had been included in the Plan, I think it would have been a much better dinner. Thank you very much.

    Your First Stay with Your Pet

    It’s been 10 years since we last had a pet. Until our home handover is complete, the breeder is looking after our dog, so we stayed at this Hotel for a trial night beforehand. Both we and the dog were nervous, but we were able to spend the night without any issues.

    Spend your vacation in the city.

    Since I usually live in the countryside, I like to relax in the city during my vacation. At Sorano Hotel, the warm smiles and kind hospitality of the staff made my stay very comfortable, and I truly enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the attentive service from everyone left me very satisfied. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to use again for my next vacation.

    A Nearby Tokyo Hotel with Wonderful Service and Warm Smiles

    I stayed on Friday night because I had training starting Saturday morning near Tachikawa Station. First, the front desk staff were efficient, and it was a big help to be able to head to my Room right away when I was tired. I also had dinner at the restaurant on the front desk floor (Daichino Restaurant), and every dish was carefully prepared and beautifully plated—so much so that it looked delicious before I even took a bite. Everything was well cooked and cut into easy-to-eat portions, and it was excellent. The restaurant staff always served with warm smiles, making it an enjoyable dining experience. Thanks to the staff at the 11th-floor infinity pool—who checked in on me whenever needed and offered support—I was able to use the pool without any confusion. I enjoyed breathtaking views just as shown in the photos, and it made for a very satisfying stay. This is a Hotel I’d like to use regularly from now on.

    The pool was great.

    We chose this Hotel for a nearby staycation for the first time. The stylish Room and the pool were excellent. At check-in, when I asked for an adult bathrobe and pajamas for my 140 cm child, I was repeatedly told it wasn’t possible because they would be too large. I eventually said it was fine, but they were already in the Room. My child wore them without any issues, so that exchange felt unnecessary. The lounge service was very good, but the evening staff member was unfriendly. The Facility is great, but it’s disappointing that a few staff members can spoil the experience—especially since other staff were wonderful. Overall, it feels like a slightly nicer Business Hotel.

    - To the lobby lounge team, front desk staff, and the Ima Lounge team: I truly felt your attentive service and thoughtful care without ever losing focus on guests. Thank you very much for making my time in the lounge so comfortable. I would also like to express my gratitude to the leader of the accommodation team for your kind consideration regarding our valuable Room. In addition, every corner of the Room, as well as the corridors and throughout the Hotel, was spotless and well maintained—credit to the excellent work of your behind-the-scenes housekeeping team. Although we refrained from walking in the park due to rainy weather, we were able to spend our 20th wedding anniversary and birthday comfortably inside thanks to all of your Hotel staff. - Breakfast was very satisfying—the steamed rice and bread were delicious, and I was happy to be able to have seconds of the fresh salad. Thank you to the farmers and kitchen staff. The Japanese black tea monaka at Ima Lounge was also delicious.

    Comfortable in every way except for the bed height.

    Email communication for questions after the Reservation was very courteous. I needed a higher chair for physical reasons, but it didn’t come across well and only a low chair was available, so I had to request another one. The phone call felt a bit brief, but the person who delivered it to my Room was polite. The Room was open and spacious, and I was very satisfied with the service—every staff member had a wonderful smile. If you have physical needs, you may find the bed is low, but otherwise I stayed comfortably. My only regret is that I forgot my fluffy slippers.

    It was a clean and lovely Hotel.

    The building is new, the Room was spacious, and the Facilities were excellent, so we were able to relax and take our time. In the lounge, they kindly poured coffee or tea into a pot for us to take back to our Room, which was great because it stayed hot. We had dinner at the restaurant on the 2nd floor; both the food and the staff service were very good. Breakfast was at the same restaurant, but the fish had many small bones and was difficult to eat even for someone used to eating fish. Lunch was at the bar on the 11th floor; the view was wonderful and the food was also very good. The only disappointment was being asked to move our car in spite of staying overnight and having lunch inside the Hotel. When I asked how long we could keep it there, I was told that since checkout is at 12:00, it would be fine until 13:00—so we ate quickly and left before 13:00. The Hotel itself is lovely and all staff were pleasant, but having to go to the parking area, retrieve the car from a mechanical lift system, and re-park in another area felt inconvenient; I hope a better solution can be considered. We chose this stay specifically to enjoy a relaxed Hotel experience. We would like to use both this Hotel and its restaurants again, which is why I felt this way.

    Relaxing Park View

    I stayed for two nights to relax and unwind. The greenery of Showa Kinen Park from the Room was wonderful. I didn’t use it this time, but the infinity pool is definitely a must. The breakfast salad was very tasty, and you can choose either Japanese or Western style. I also wished they offered a buffet-style breakfast. The coffee and sparkling wine in the lobby, as well as the dorayaki served at check-in time, were much appreciated. Also, there are many stylish cafes and restaurants around the Hotel, so I had no trouble finding places to eat.

    The Room was spacious, and the view was great, so I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste in the Room and I had to request them at the front desk.

    This time I traveled...

    This time I traveled with my elderly mother and my younger brother, and I truly appreciate how kindly the staff looked after us. I was happy that there was a guest-only lounge, but I would have liked a wider selection of drinks and snacks. The restaurant offered delicious food with plenty of vegetables and healthy options. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use the spa this time, but I’d love to try it when I stay again with my daughter or husband. Thank you for your thoughtful care for my mother.

    A relaxing Hotel

    This was my second stay. I stayed with my grandchild. The Hotel staff greeted us with warm smiles, and we had a very pleasant time. The Room was spacious and relaxing. I also used the fitness facilities, which was a nice change of pace. I would like you to consider offering room service for breakfast. Infants and toddlers tend to run around, so it would be helpful to be able to eat in the Room.

    I stayed here the other day. The Room was spacious and the view was wonderful, so I was able to relax a lot. However, the breakfast salad vegetables were wilted. It was very disappointing, as the vegetables are delicious.

    I can’t believe a place like this exists.

    I didn’t know about this place. It’s just a little over 30 minutes from Shinjuku, and it really felt like a resort. We had a great time hosting a girls’ get-together in the spacious Room. The infinity pool was a bit cold, though. The Onsen downstairs was also lukewarm, so it would be nice if it were hotter. The food was delicious as well.

    A Comfortable Trip with Your Dog

    Pets are welcome to walk in the lobby, on the restaurant terrace seating, and on the pet-friendly guest room floor, and the staff were extremely pet-friendly. The room was well equipped with essentials such as a playpen and pee pads, and had flooring that was easy for pets to run on. Showa Kinen Park is right next door, so you can let them run freely, and there are nearby shopping facilities where you can get takeout—making it a truly wellbeing-focused trip.

    The Room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were no aspects of the Room’s setup that felt inconvenient. However, there were no amenities due to environmental conservation. I was able to get a toothbrush when I asked, but not having amenities was inconvenient. I also planned to use the pool spa, but I was told it cannot be used after check-out. Since that was the main reason for my visit, I was very disappointed. Of course, it was my fault for not confirming in advance, but I had mentioned at check-in that I might use it, so I would have liked to be informed then. The food was average. Considering the price, I don’t think I would use the restaurant a second time.

    I stayed here for an...

    I stayed here for an event at Tachikawa Stage Garden. The area has lots of greenery and no car traffic, so it was quiet and a lovely neighborhood where I could relax. The route to the station was straight and easy to follow. There are plenty of restaurants around the Hotel (within GREEN SPRINGS), and if you go to the station, you can also enjoy shopping at Takashimaya and LUMINE. I went to leave my luggage before check-in, and they kindly completed pre-registration for me, so I was able to enter my Room smoothly at 3:00 PM. In the lounge across from the front desk, I enjoyed drinks, sweets in the evening, and soup at night. The Room was clean and spacious, so I could relax comfortably. However, with three people, the sofa becomes a bed, leaving only one chair, so there wasn’t enough seating. Since there is plenty of space in the Room, it would be helpful if two more chairs could be added. The sink was quite high for me as a woman, making it a bit difficult when washing my face. As improvements to the in-Room Facility amenities, I would appreciate a wrinkle-release clothing spray/mist and a larger trash bin in the washroom. Breakfast was great—the restaurant staff were very attentive. You can choose either Japanese or Western style breakfast, and there is also a kids’ menu. They carefully confirmed allergy ingredients as well, which made me feel reassured. Everything was delicious, including local vegetables and meat.

    It is a wonderful Hotel.

    Cherry blossoms were displayed at the front of the lobby, and it was wonderful. The guest room was also well cleaned, and I was able to stay comfortably. One thing I noticed in the room—though it may be unavoidable in a Hotel—was the smell of the pillow. The scent, like scalp oil, bothered me too much to use it as is, so I covered it with an unused bath towel. Also, during my stays I always visit the bar on the 10th floor. The view and atmosphere are great, and I really enjoy the drinks as well. The sunset on a clear day is especially moving; however, as far as I remember, the à la carte menu is always the same each time, so it was a bit disappointing not to have that excitement of choosing from new options.

    White Day

    I stayed here on White Day. The Hotel features many wooden elements, from the walls to the amenities, with a simple and calming design. The Room was very spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The top-floor infinity pool—one of the main reasons for my stay—had an even better view than I expected and felt wonderful. After getting chilled outside, you can warm up in the jacuzzi or mist sauna before heading back. It was a lovely Hotel that made me want to come again.
