    The Room refrigerator contained only water.

    It was described as all-inclusive, and the Room photos showed a refrigerator stocked with various drinks, but in reality there was only a water pitcher. I thought it might be a mistake, so I checked again after returning home, and it was indeed stated that way. Even though it’s the same rate and the same Plan, I found this questionable. I think you should stop using misleading photos. As others have written in their Reviews, adjusting the bath temperature is difficult. It’s manageable in summer, but I think it would be tough in winter. The Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were only the minimum towels (one large and one small), and while I could sense an effort to save costs, unlike nearby Fufu Kawaguchiko—which I’d like to visit again—this Accommodation will likely be my first and last stay. For dinner, staff grilled sweetfish (ayu) and chicken over charcoal outside. The ayu was tasty. However, there were no particularly elaborate dishes. Because the photos and ratings were good, the gap was far too big, and it ended up being a rare travel disappointment for me. I’ve never written this kind of Review before, but the shock of opening the refrigerator was just too much—though the staff’s smiles were nice.

    Our family stayed for one night. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. Dinner showed great attention to detail, and the wonderful dishes truly brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Both the fish and meat were grilled fresh on the spot, so everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast delivered to our Room also highlighted the ingredients just like dinner, and it was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Above all, every staff member was kind and welcoming, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you very much.

    A Trip to Kofu

    As it’s a new Accommodation, we had high expectations, and it was just as good as we hoped. We were very satisfied with the meals as well—we could enjoy freshly grilled fish and steak on the terrace. The host also did a wine tasting and was able to enjoy Koshu wine.

    Relax and unwind

    Thank you for your hospitality. Over the past two or three years, I’ve become really into visiting wineries. I was looking for a villa and winery where I could stay overnight, and found this Accommodation. It’s not an Onsen, but the Room has an open-air-style bath. Since I stayed for two nights, I was able to relax at a leisurely pace—and even enjoyed wine with breakfast. I’m also looking forward to the wine restaurant scheduled to be completed in November 2026. I’d love to stay again.

    As the Facility is still fairly new, everything was spotless and clean. The Room was also spacious, and we had a very comfortable stay. The winery tour clearly conveyed the producer’s passion, making it both fascinating and enjoyable. Thanks to that, I ended up buying quite a lot of wine (lol). Although the open-air bath is not an Onsen, it’s rare in everyday life to have the chance to soak in hot water outdoors, so it was wonderfully refreshing. Having breakfast delivered in a wine box was a unique touch you don’t find elsewhere, and it was great fun. The only thing that bothered me—just as others have mentioned—was that the tissue box holder was awkward to use. The tissues kept falling inside, which made them hard to pull out. By the way, the adjacent “Tabi no Eki” was clean and well stocked, making it convenient for buying souvenirs.

    The wine, cuisine, Room, and service are all refined and free of unnecessary frills. Its convenient location close to the city center is also a plus. It’s an ideal place to spend a day when you want to take a break.

    Excellent

    We stayed to celebrate my companion’s birthday. From the welcome service at check-in to the final check-out, we had a wonderful time. Not only was the Room atmosphere great, but the food was also delicious. Even in February, using the outdoor bath was not a problem. During dinner, you noticed I was getting too drunk and about to go down and kindly checked on me—thank you for your concern. We also appreciate that you accommodated our requests for a cake and candles. If I had to mention anything, the tissue box was difficult to use, the char (iwana) at dinner was placed on salt and ended up too salty, and the bamboo toothbrush felt like a paper straw and was very unpleasant. Next time, I will bring my own toothbrush. This stay taught me that an Accommodation can be worth spending money on. My companion seemed to love it as well, so we would definitely like to stay again.

    The service was warm...

    The service was warm and welcoming. The food was simple and let the ingredients shine, which paired beautifully with the wine. We stayed to celebrate my parents’ 77th birthday, and they kindly helped us celebrate with a message on the dessert plate. None of the wines had any odd quirks—every one was truly delicious. I also personally recommend the winery tour. I’d love to come back.

    Overall, I’m satisfied, but...

    Just as shown in the IKYU photos, this villa has a high-ceiling Room that feels spacious and open, and it is well cleaned and pleasantly spotless. The lobby where you check in and out also serves as a shop open to the public, and it is also the main dining venue. Since some guests are checking in while others are dining, it does not feel like a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying dinner. The grilled river fish and Koshu beef prepared right in front of us were very delicious, but the rest was disappointing—dishes that seemed like they could be made even without a chef. That said, as you would expect from a winery, we enjoyed the wine pairings thanks to clear and attentive explanations. Breakfast delivered in a wine box was exciting and allowed us to spend a relaxing morning. As it was a cold season, the open-air bath on the balcony was a bit tough, but in warmer weather it would be four stars. The service was not bad, but perhaps due to limited staff, we felt unsure at times—such as during check-in and check-out. Overall we were satisfied, but if you are expecting full Hotel-level service, you may feel let down.

    A Winery That Embraces Local Charm

    The room was clean and comfortable. Although the bath was not an Onsen, I enjoyed it multiple times in the refreshing air with a hint of wood fragrance. Instead of a coffee maker, I ground my own beans and made coffee using hand drip, which felt very satisfying. The minimal amenities designed with environmental consideration might feel insufficient to some, but I found them very pleasant. The winery tour and wine explanations during meals were filled with passion for the grape producers, making it both enjoyable and delicious. Next time, I would love to visit when the grapes are in season!

    Write only the disappointing aspects.

    The staff's response is polite, but it may feel slightly too brisk, possibly due to a focus on accommodating international guests. Some might find this approach a bit intimidating as it lacks warmth, softness, and the sense of hospitality that makes conversations more welcoming. Additionally, the meal quality did not seem to match the price. Many dishes appeared pre-prepared rather than freshly made, which was disappointing given our expectations. The grilled fish was particularly salty and did not highlight the quality of the ingredients. Furthermore, having the lobby and dining area in the same space created a less relaxing atmosphere during meals. The frequent movement of guests checking in disrupted the dining experience and made it difficult to fully enjoy meals in peace. This setup diminished any sense of exclusivity or escape. Overall, this accommodation feels more suited for a quick stay in clean and slightly spacious rooms rather than for special occasions or celebrations. It seems better positioned as a convenient base for exploring Yamanashi rather than being a destination itself.

    It was an enjoyable stay.

    We enjoyed a winery tour, a comfortable Room, delicious dinner with pairing wine, a stylish breakfast, and an amazing time. The nearby travel station made it very convenient for souvenir shopping. Although we were slightly worried about the return trip to Kawaguchiko Station, a taxi was arranged for us, allowing us to return as planned. We look forward to visiting again in another season!

    We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but we were kindly offered a winery tour, allowing us to learn about the background and philosophy of this winery, for which we are truly grateful.     It was a very pleasa...

    It was a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately, we missed the winery tour due to traffic, which was disappointing. We hope to visit again for a second chance. We requested wine pairing during dinner. Including the complimentary sparkling wine, we had a total of six glasses. However, since dinner is limited to two hours, the wine and dishes were served one after another, leaving little time to savor them leisurely. It would be better if the dinner started at 6 PM for everyone, allowing more time to enjoy both the wine and the food. I also heard that sparkling wine is offered at check-in, but since there was no guidance, I wonder if I should have asked about it. For breakfast, I recommend reserving a time slot earlier than your preferred time. We requested 8:30, so the reservation was set for delivery to our room between 8:30 and 9:00, but it arrived around 8:50. If you have plans after check-out, an earlier reservation might be better. As for the room amenities, as mentioned in other reviews, there is no brush, only a comb, so women may want to bring their own. The tissue case was also inconvenient, as the tissues kept falling inside the case, and I had to turn it upside down and use a pen to pull them out several times. Since the facility has just opened, I look forward to improvements in services and events in the future.

    A New Era Winery Auberge

    A newly emerging winery operates this auberge, focusing on local production for local consumption that reflects the terroir. The Room design is simple and modern, with a convenient layout allowing you to move seamlessly from the living area → bed → bathroom → back to the living area. The open-air bath facing the garden is very relaxing. The "7c sauna," where you can enjoy views of the vineyard and stars, is also highly recommended. Breakfast, made with carefully selected ingredients, is delivered to your Room in a wooden box. Compared to Carpe Diem's TRAVIGNE, this auberge feels like a new era of hospitality. Please enjoy responsibly and avoid overindulgence in wine.

    It was a great time.

    I visited in September. The weather was cool and pleasant. It gets chilly at night, so those sensitive to the cold may need long sleeves. However, the homepage was a bit difficult to navigate, and I felt slightly disappointed upon discovering some amenities through the in-room guide that I hadn't noticed before. That said, the atmosphere of the Room and the food were excellent.

    Enjoyed a relaxing time with wine.

    We enjoyed a relaxing time with delicious wine, beautiful scenery, and great food. The contrast of the green mountains, light green grape leaves, blue sky, and slightly colored autumn foliage was truly soothing. The Facility is modern, sleek, and stylish yet provides a calm atmosphere. The view of the mountains from the Room through the garden is mesmerizing—you could watch it forever with a glass of wine in hand. Dinner wasn't about quantity but quality; each dish used excellent ingredients and was satisfying. The Chateaubriand was particularly high-quality. The char also had firm flesh that made it enjoyable to eat and paired wonderfully with the white wine provided. The Plan included pairing wines as well as wine and light snacks prepared in our Room—all were delicious with excellent selections. Booking this Plan turned out to be a great choice. Breakfast was visually appealing with small portions of high-quality ingredients arranged beautifully—like an elegant plate lunch. The watercress salad featured some of the best-tasting watercress I've ever had. The carrot dressing was also delightful. The accompanying wine came in just the right amount for breakfast and matched perfectly. I believe I tried about seven different types of wine during my stay—all suited my taste perfectly despite usually not favoring Japanese wines; every single one here was exceptional! I'm grateful for such wonderful wines being crafted here. The staff members were friendly, professional, efficient yet warm—they seemed like a small but highly skilled team working diligently together. The indoor slippers provided in our Room were not disposable; I opted to use my own instead. However, according to my companion's feedback—they were stylish and comfortable to wear! As for loungewear within the Facility—it consisted of easy-to-wear black separates which meant we didn’t need anything extra during our stay! Although I ended up sleeping in them instead of using pajamas (which also looked nice). I’d love to visit again during another season!

    Enjoyed wine casually.

    The luxurious feel I expected was not quite there. However, as the Facility is still new, it is clean and well-maintained. The meal portions for both breakfast and dinner felt a bit small. Thankfully, the snacks and wine provided in the Room beforehand were satisfying enough to make me full. Making coffee was inconvenient as everything—kettle, grinder, dripper, paper filters, cups—was stored separately. It would be better if they were organized in one place. I did enjoy pairing and savoring the wine from the fridge though, which was satisfying. The staff members were all wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality!

    A Memorable Accommodation

    In addition to the winery, the meals felt very healthy, with a strong focus on quality ingredients. The wine was truly crafted with great care and made me feel genuinely happy. In the end, I bought a total of 7 bottles to take home. Red wine is especially precious, so I’m looking forward to enjoying a variety of them. This was an unforgettable Accommodation.     Spacious Room with Delicious Wine and Meals

    From the moment you see the stylishly designed entrance, you'll feel your excitement rise. The welcome drink is an incredibly delicious grape juice, said to be quite rare. The Room features high ceilings and large windows, offering a sense of openness that is simply perfect. The balcony's open-air bath is also beautifully maintained. Dinner was delightful with playful touches like a dressing inspired by matcha tea. The fish dish was especially tender and flavorful! The wine pairing offered a wide variety of options for a luxurious experience. The staff were exceptionally attentive, making our stay very comfortable.     Highly recommended.

    The Room was new, and the garden was lovely. The wine pairing at dinner was excellent! I wish there had been a half-size option as I’m not strong with alcohol. The food was delicious and plentiful. The dishes complemented the wine perfectly, creating an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for wine lovers. Breakfast was also great. Unfortunately, we couldn’t join the winery tour as it didn’t fit our 14-hour schedule, but we’ll definitely try next time. We’ll visit again in autumn. Thank you!

    It was a very lovely villa.

    Despite being adjacent to a travel station, the winery offers a serene and enchanting atmosphere as soon as you step inside. With the wine-included Plan, the refrigerator was stocked with an impressive amount of champagne and wine! This is undoubtedly an incredibly value-packed Plan! The Hotel staff were all kind and welcoming, making for a relaxing stay. The wine service at breakfast was exceptional! This is a winery I would absolutely love to stay at again.

    It was relaxing.

    Delicious cuisine and wine, along with the soothing scent of wood in the room, made for a truly relaxing experience. The dishes were simple yet flavorful, perfectly complementing the wine and highlighting the natural taste of the ingredients. The wine pairing included five varieties at an affordable price. Breakfast was delivered to our room in a wooden box, which we plated ourselves—an easy process—and it was also delicious. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in our room at our own pace. The moment we entered, the woody aroma of the room created a calming atmosphere. Even the loungewear and pajamas were so comfortable that I ended up purchasing them before leaving (laughs). Amenities were almost fully equipped as well. Unfortunately, the bath is not an Onsen; instead, there is a separate shower room and what seems like a semi-open-air bathtub. During this season, it was pleasant to feel the breeze while relaxing there; however, I wonder how it would be during colder months. We also joined a winery tour this time. The guide's friendly and humorous explanations made it very enjoyable! Wine tasted even better after hearing their stories about it. Thanks to staff members who maintained just the right balance of attentiveness and distance, we had such a peaceful stay. I would love to visit again someday! Thank you very much!

    With no plans yet for this year’s Golden Week, I suddenly searched online at 7:00 p.m. on May 2, 2025 for a one-night stay starting the next day—and found 7c villa & winery. I was impressed by their wine concept and their commitment to supporting passionate producers, as well as the owner’s determination to take on winemaking here in Kawaguchiko. The Accommodation is also thoughtfully designed down to every detail, with a strong focus on creating a truly relaxing stay. The meals were paired with wines from each producer, and the explanations were careful and easy to understand—this was more than just a trip; it was an educational experience. Each Room has a semi-open-air bath (not an Onsen), which allowed us to enjoy a private space. It did feel a bit small for larger guests, though. Breakfast—something rare these days—was delivered to our Room. Everything was delicious: salad, bread, pot-au-feu, quiche, yogurt, dessert, and more. Above all, this is a wonderful Accommodation that truly values your time. This time it was pricey due to Golden Week rates, but next time I’d love to visit again around when wine made from this year’s harvested grapes is ready.
