    Come and enjoy our head chef’s cuisine.

    It has been a while since the head chef moved, but we visited Daichu this time because we thought we could enjoy the chef’s cuisine there. We also wanted to try sea urchin in this season. Until last year, we went to the annex for it, but we assumed it would be the same and chose Daichu instead. (We had visited several times before for the private day-use baths.) We were able to spend a truly enjoyable time, meeting familiar staff as well as new faces. It really felt like coming back again. There is no bath in the Room, but you can use any of the three private baths whenever you like, and we enjoyed delicious sea urchin, great drinks, and obanzai as well—completely satisfied. We were also finally able to see the head chef again. He looked well, which put us at ease as we headed home. We would love to visit again in a different season.

    The meals were absol...

    The meals were absolutely delicious. The carefully prepared dishes were very satisfying in both quality and quantity. The obanzai was also great, but I was too full to eat much—what a shame! The all-you-can-drink option was a real plus for our family. All the staff were kind and attentive. We also managed to try all of the private baths. The bread we received when leaving was delicious as well. This is now one of the Ryokan we’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Exceptional hospitality

    All the staff were lively, and their smiles and kindness truly came through. The cuisine was creative and every dish was delicious. The recommended drink pairings were not only listed on the menu, but also brought to life by the staff’s passionate service, making everything feel comfortable and genuinely happy. At checkout, I was surprised by thoughtful gifts such as photos and freshly baked croissants in the morning. I was completely satisfied with the heartfelt hospitality filled with passion and care.

    The meals, baths, and staff are all excellent!

    We visited from Tokyo, with my son and husband taking turns driving. Although my son has been reluctant about family trips recently, he mentioned wanting to visit again because the meals at Daichu are so delicious. We have already displayed the commemorative photo you provided. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of us!

    I was deeply relaxed by the meals and the Onsen bath.

    Stayed with my husband who is on a solo work assignment. The room was spacious, even for two people, allowing us to relax comfortably. The bed on the tatami floor made it convenient to rest or enjoy tea. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, keeping things interesting. In addition to the men's and women's baths, there were three types of family baths available, adding to the enjoyment. Thank you very much! We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.
