    The Ultimate in Luxury

    This was the finest Hotel I have ever stayed at. The room, the private open-air bath, the hospitality, the meals, and the service were all exceptional. I was able to relax and enjoy a truly unhurried stay. Unfortunately, my partner felt a bit unwell, so we could only enjoy the meals with our eyes, which was very disappointing. That’s why we definitely want to come back for a retry. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

    I have been staying ...

    I have been staying here for decades (Sakura Rikyu), but this time was disappointing.\nAs soon as I entered the Room, there was a very unpleasant smell (musty/moldy odor).\nThe futon felt damp.\nThe meals...\nThe staff greeted us with smiles, but they did not feel genuine.\nIt was very disappointing.

    It was wonderful.

    The Room and service were excellent, and the teppan kaiseki at Natori River was truly outstanding. Although it is limited to two parties per day, we were the only guests that day, so it felt like a private stay and we were able to enjoy both dinner and breakfast at a relaxed pace. We stay at Accommodations of a similar class several times a year, and this was one of the best value Accommodations we’ve experienced in quite some time.

    Thank you for a wonderful time.

    This is a Hotel I’d love to stay at again if I have the chance. There was ice cream in the lounge, and my grandchild was thrilled. The Room we booked was spacious and comfortable, so even though my grandchild had their own Room, they ended up sleeping together with us. The meals were buffet-style, which was just right—we could choose what we liked without overeating. I was also surprised to find an escalator on the way to the dining venue; it was my first time experiencing that, and it made everything feel even more exciting. The large public bath had lots of thoughtful features as well, and my grandchild even tried the waterfall shower. Also, my grandchild wanted to watch the DVD from their Room in ours, and although you must have been busy, a staff member kindly set it up for us. Thank you very much for all your help.

    "I felt like I wanted to visit again."

    This was my first time using this accommodation. First, I was amazed by the room. It was a very spacious Japanese-style room with a private open-air bath, an elegantly furnished living area, and a separate bedroom. There were also two toilets and two sinks, making it very comfortable. The bath was clean and conveniently connected to the indoor bath, which made it very easy to use. What impressed me even more was the teppanyaki dinner limited to only two groups per day. The high-quality ingredients were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious—it was truly outstanding. Additionally, the attentive service and recommended wine perfectly matched the meal, making for an exceptional experience. This stay made me want to come back again someday. Among all the onsen ryokans I visited this year, this one is undoubtedly the best!

    I stayed at the Gues...

    I stayed at the Guesthouse Sakura Rikyu. Meals were served at Hotel Zuiho alongside group guests, which was very disappointing. I wanted to enjoy a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but instead had to dine amidst noise with food that wasn’t particularly to my taste. The building of the Guesthouse Sakura Rikyu is impressive, but the design felt unrefined and not to my liking. I was surprised by the pink walls in the bedroom—it completely ruined the elegance of the room. The controls for air conditioning and lighting were not intuitive or easy to use; perhaps it’s just me, but they were confusing. I will not be returning again.
