I had my expectations too high for the sauna...
[Conclusion] Questionable whether it offers value for the price. [Dinner (in-Room dining)] We chose 8 à la carte dishes. The portions were sufficient. A downside was that it arrived 25 minutes late. The meat was also cold, which was disappointing. [Sauna] The Room with a sauna was spacious enough and clean. First, the sauna temperature: it probably didn’t reach 100°C. It would be better if there were a thermometer and a timer as well. When cooling down, an infinity chair would have been nice to have.

A New Experience
The private sauna was my first experience, and it was very appealing. The entire dinner ordering process was done via smartphone, which reduced the enjoyment of dinner by half. It would be better to order while looking at a menu. Why is there no TV in the Room? One should be provided. If you do not want to watch it, you can simply choose not to.

I chose this Accommo...
I chose this Accommodation because I was attracted by the in-room sauna, and I stayed here on this trip. All of the staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. I was also happy that the sauna was already warmed up at check-in, so I could use it right away. Since it was during the Golden Week holiday period, the rate was higher than usual, but my satisfaction exceeded that and it turned into a very fulfilling stay. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a bit disappointing as I had high expectations...
We stayed at the accommodation during our trip to Lake Yamanaka with a sauna-loving friend. While we often use hotels with saunas, there were a few points that caught our attention as sauna enthusiasts. Firstly, when we entered the room, the sauna was not operational, and we had to turn it on ourselves. It took quite some time to heat up, and even after returning from dinner outside, it was not sufficiently warm. Without a thermometer installed, we couldn't confirm the exact temperature, but it felt significantly low. We checked with the front desk and were told there was no issue with the settings themselves. Additionally, since the sauna operates on a timer system and automatically shuts off after about three hours, we had to reset it again manually. Given that our purpose for staying was "to enjoy the sauna," it was very disappointing that it wasn't warm when we wanted to use it or that its temperature felt lukewarm. Furthermore, considering that the accommodation cost approximately 70,000 yen per night, we expected more in terms of amenities and facilities. The hairdryer provided was from SALONIA—not bad by any means—but given this price range, there wasn’t anything particularly special about it which dampened our excitement slightly.

A casual café-style atmosphere in Shin-Okubo
Overall, I was disappointed... The restaurant felt like a café in Shin-Okubo, the Room resembled a shared office, and the bathtub was outside, so bugs had accumulated inside and I couldn't use it. The bed was also extremely hard, which surprised me. Perhaps the price was higher due to the festival period, but 100,000 yen per night feels excessive. In terms of service quality, it felt more like 50,000 yen.

The hotel was unable to provide the reserved plan.
It was the worst experience. The content of the reserved plan was changed without any explanation, making me feel deceived. I booked an anniversary plan over a month in advance for my partner's birthday. The plan included a creative French course dinner with a message plate, which is why I chose it. However, upon arrival, we were told that "from July, it has been changed to à la carte!" and were served disappointing dishes (as shown in the photo, one plate for two people). When I checked the reservation details on the site at that moment, it still stated "course meal." Despite fewer dishes being served than promised, we were charged the same price. When I pointed out how unreasonable it was to change the plan content without any notice, they simply responded with "Yes... sorry about that... so how would you like to pay?" as if rushing us out. I specifically chose this plan because I wanted to celebrate with a course meal; had I known about this change beforehand, I wouldn't have made this reservation. A once-a-year special day was completely ruined.

The Mount Fuji you thought you'd never see.
When we arrived, it was cloudy, and Mount Fuji was not visible from the room. Although we specifically chose a room with a view of Mount Fuji, to our surprise, the clouds cleared around 5 PM, and we could see it clearly. The dinner was beyond words—visually stunning and absolutely delicious. The freshly baked bread at breakfast was also exceptional. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again after saving up some money. I’ve already recommended it to my friends!

A property with a sauna in every room!?
A property with a sauna in every room!? As a sauna enthusiast, I was very intrigued and chose Shizuku this time! The location is extremely convenient, with Lake Yamanaka right in front, and close to the famous amphibious bus KABA stop and many other tourist spots! From the entrance of the hotel, you can see Mt. Fuji in the distance, but the atmosphere inside the hotel is dim. It was my first experience with a sauna in the guest room, so my excitement naturally rose when I entered the room! The sauna functions are quite authentic, allowing you to enjoy a self-service löyly in your own room, which was highly satisfying for a sauna lover like me! It would have been even better if there was a TV in the room! For dinner, a Finnish cuisine course was prepared, which was a first-time experience for me! Some dishes might have mixed reviews, but overall, it was very delicious! If you are considering a multiple night stay, I do not recommend it as the breakfast and dinner menus do not change! I couldn't see Mt. Fuji from my room, so if you want a view of Mt. Fuji from your room, I recommend checking with the hotel in advance! Thank you for this time!

It was excellent!
I was attracted to the room with a sauna and stayed one night in the deluxe twin. The design of the hotel and the rooms is just so cute! It makes you excited just looking at it. I was happy that the amenity box and free towels had original designs. I appreciated that two bath towels were provided per person. The loungewear is also cute and comfortable to wear. In terms of size, it seemed fine for someone 170 cm and 155 cm tall. The in-room sauna warms you up gently and allows you to sweat properly. The mild cold bath and outdoor air bath were also excellent. The public bath sauna is properly hot, the cold bath is cold, and there is an outdoor air bath, which is also nice. There are only two hairdryers, so you might have to wait sometimes. (Even though there is an in-room sauna, many sauna enthusiasts might use both.) However, you can wait leisurely while drinking detox water, so it's not a problem. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very satisfying! The taste was, of course, great, and the explanation of the dishes was enjoyable, making the meals even more delicious. The dishes incorporating ingredients from Yamanashi Prefecture and elements of Finland are something you can only taste here. If I were to mention something that could be improved, it would be to keep the area near the front desk a bit brighter until the public bath is open. It was a truly enjoyable stay. The warm hospitality of the young master, young mistress, and all the staff, the seasonal dishes, and the various room layouts made me strongly want to stay again and again. I especially recommend this inn to sauna enthusiasts.

I look forward to future updates.
I visited for two reasons: "All rooms with sauna" and "Cold bath with Mt. Fuji spring water." The sauna in the room is small but can barely fit two people and is in the 90-degree range. The water for the bathtub is separate from the hot water tap and is cold spring water. On the other hand, the large public bath is 110 degrees (at one point 120 degrees!) with a cold bath in the low teens. This facility inherits the previous building, and while the age is undeniable, the Showa strong style atmosphere adds to the enjoyment for sauna enthusiasts. It's a pity it was only available at night; it would be nice to have a morning sauna. The twin beds are each spacious enough to collapse into. It was a happy time. However, the overall construction gives a cheap (light) impression. I understand they are aiming for a Finnish image, but... first, the chairs (sofa?) in the lobby are very uncomfortable and small, combined with the concrete floor and the simplicity of the tea and sweets served, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. Sitting for two is quite cramped. The small chairs without backrests are not relaxing, and the books provided are hard to read unless you sit up straight. The room key is unusually singular for recent times, so when going to the large public bath, you can only meet up with family here, which was disappointing. The room wear is only one size, and while it was okay for me, it seemed particularly uncomfortable for my tall family members, which was unfortunate. There are many steps in the room, possibly due to the sauna installation. Be extremely careful with your footing, especially when exiting the bath. The safe is located immediately beside the entrance and is a step down, making it completely out of sight from the bed, which was scary and made it difficult to use. The food was delicious. Breakfast was packed with tasty items served in Finland. Dinner was also well thought out and good. However, if you're not fond of wine or craft beer, there's no alcohol to drink, which would be nice to see improved. The staff were all young but provided polite service, making it an overall enjoyable experience. I recommended it to my work colleagues. I hope for improvements in the areas mentioned, as it's still early days, and I look forward to the future. Keep up the good work.
