    The Onsen baths and the meals were excellent.

    We stayed here for a family trip with my mother-in-law, which we do once a year. As others have mentioned, the Onsen is a bicarbonate spring and was a bit hot, so we added water to make it more comfortable. The benefits were still excellent—after bathing we stayed pleasantly warm, and even in April we needed to turn on the air conditioner. Since there were five of us, we chose the largest Room, Miyama Kirishima. It came with an indoor bath, open-air bath, bubble bath, mist sauna, and cold bath—all in the Room—and we thoroughly enjoyed the free-flowing Onsen. Dinner was a shabu-shabu tasting of Satsuma Kuroge Wagyu and black pork, along with seasonal mountain vegetables. The portions were very generous—more than we could finish—and we were extremely satisfied. If I had to mention any issues: because there were five of us, although plenty of towels were provided, there were only four bath baskets and not many towel racks, so towels ended up scattered around. Also, for my elderly mother-in-law the wash basin felt a bit heavy; she said it would be nice to have a smaller hand-held bucket.

    Luxurious Onsen!

    The original Onsen temperature was a bit high, so adjusting it each time was slightly inconvenient, but having both indoor and outdoor baths at this price is amazing. Truly luxurious! I also appreciated the massage chair. I had requested amenities and towels in advance, and they prepared plenty for me, including body lotion, which was very helpful.

    A relaxing Stays

    We stayed at Yamanashiume with my spouse. It is a property with a calm atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay without any souvenir corners. The onsen was very pleasant on the skin, and although I usually cannot take long baths, I was able to enjoy a longer soak by setting the temperature a bit lower. The meal was shabu-shabu with beef and pork, enjoyed with a broth subtly flavored with yuzu pepper, which removed any greasiness and made it delicious. The staff's service was excellent, allowing us to fully enjoy a pleasant time.

    It is a Ryokan that feels pleasant in every way.

    Each room in the detached style comes with an indoor bath and an open-air bath (rock bath and barrel bath), and even a massage chair. The semi-double bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Meals are served in a private dining room for each group, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are creatively prepared, showcasing the chef's skills, and were delicious. The room, towels, and bedding are also very clean, providing peace of mind. Given the quality, I think the price is reasonable, but it is a place to enjoy a bit of luxury.
