I had breakfast; there was a good variety of colors, but the selection was underwhelming—especially the bread, which was disappointing for an international Hotel.

The Room was very comfortable. There were no cosmetic amenities in the Room, only body lotion. (They are available at the bathing Facility.) The Room had a shower booth and no bathtub. There is a separate bathing Facility, but there are only enough washing stations for about 7–8 people, so I recommend checking the crowd level on the monitor before going. It was crowded at night so I skipped it and went in the morning; the bath was clean and very pleasant. The staff were also courteous and helpful. Thank you very much.

Caution! Room with shower only
The reception was kind. Fairly close to the station. The breakfast buffet seemed well-prepared, and it was rare to see rice flour bread available. I was surprised to find only a shower in the bathroom when I entered the room! This is common in Europe, but in Japan, such cases should be clearly stated. What was the point of selecting "separate bath and toilet" on IKYU's search? I reviewed my Reservation, but there was no mention of "shower only." Paying over 30,000 yen for this—choosing a major platform for peace of mind didn’t seem worth it. Please take note if you are considering staying here.

Compared to other Marriott properties
The rating is lower compared to other Marriott properties. The location near Nakajima Park has limited accessibility. The Hotel itself is relatively small. Compared to other Marriott properties, the view was not impressive. Since it is new, the Room was clean. Customer service was average.

I had a comfortable ...
I had a comfortable stay. However, I deducted a few stars for the following reasons: The spa was fully occupied with all lockers in use, and the locker arrangement and space were cramped, making it feel hectic instead of relaxing. During breakfast, staff informed seated guests about the end of service time one by one, but I noticed they skipped me while notifying those seated on either side of me, which bothered me.

Noise
Stayed for 2 nights. On the second night, I was disturbed by noise from what seemed to be the floor above from around 3 AM to 6 AM. There was a constant thudding sound as if someone was taking a few steps and then jumping down. Just as I was about to call the front desk at 6 AM, the noise stopped abruptly. After that, there was no noise until checkout. The Room was clean and comfortable, which made it all the more disappointing.

Staying for a business trip. It might be good for a solo stay.
Stayed alone for a business trip. I stay at hotels at least 60 nights a year for business trips and family vacations. A new Marriott hotel opened, so I stayed there while checking it out. - Location: Within walking distance from Nakajima Park Station. It's a bit of a walk from Susukino. I went by car, but the sidewalk cutout position is misaligned, and the car drop-off area is narrow, which is a drawback. There seemed to be both flat and multi-story parking, but I didn't know that flat parking could be reserved. - Room: The hotel is brand new and clean. The water area has an old-fashioned plan with the toilet inside the washroom. It seemed to accommodate three people, but since it's a new hotel, I wondered why not have a separate toilet? If someone is in the toilet, others can't use the sink or bath. The wall between the toilet & washroom and the bedroom was made of a semi-transparent plastic material. It's puzzling. Is it enjoyable to watch the silhouette of someone entering the toilet from the bedroom? I ended up researching who the designer was, but couldn't find out. - Common Areas: The staircase area on the first and second floors is open, but the space is too narrow to be effective. Overall, it feels like they skimped on construction. - Dining: Breakfast is a buffet. The display is good. There are various uniquely designed seats, making it comfortable. The food content is somewhat disappointing, with a menu lacking features and flavors that felt bland. - Service: At the front desk, a veteran staff member was freely supporting inexperienced staff, which is a good point. - Satisfaction: Hotels in Sapporo are expensive near Sapporo Station, gradually getting cheaper towards Odori and Susukino, and Nakajima Park is generally reasonably priced, but this hotel's price is aggressive. However, for a 25 square meter room with slightly higher-grade materials and almost no additional facilities, this price... I might choose another hotel next time. It's a hotel that leaves doubts about the abilities of those who built it, which can't be solved by the people operating on-site.

Stayed twice in 3 weeks
I stayed twice using IKYU's special opening plan. Especially during the first stay, I was upgraded to a room, and I was very satisfied with the spacious room and bed. I also enjoyed the gym and the bar's happy hour. The bath, although lukewarm, had water with good heat retention, which my wife liked. Perhaps because the bath is not a selling point, it was not crowded, allowing us to relax. On the downside, as pointed out by a previous reviewer, the dial-type lockers in the bath area were inconvenient, and during my second stay, three of the ones I tried seemed to be broken. Also, the breakfast is not cost-effective. Compared to nearby hotels, both the variety and taste are inferior. It might be fine for first-time tourists, but for someone like me who lives locally and enjoys staying at hotels, it's a negative factor for repeat visits as I compare and choose. (Why did the breakfast venue change from room number registration to a ticket system in just two weeks during my first stay?)

Room is new, clean, and quiet, the large public bath is...
Of course, the Room is new and clean. There is a Nespresso machine and a smart TV, so I was able to relax. However, the public bath is really small. The locker keys are confusing, and it's hard to tell which ones are in use. The slipper holders are of the same type, causing congestion at the entrance. Most Rooms only have showers, so perhaps this is a Hotel aimed at inbound tourists who are satisfied with just a shower. It's not suitable for those who want to relieve travel fatigue in the public bath. I had a Plan with breakfast included, but when I went 5 minutes before opening, there was a long line of inbound tourists, and the line became chaotic midway, so I thought it would be even more stressful once inside and decided not to eat. I would like to try again if I have the chance. The check-in staff was pleasant, but the check-out was not good. Speaking of which, the front desk is right at the entrance, so I wonder if there's enough space to line up when check-in is busy. I might want to visit again when things have calmed down a bit. It's a great location for a morning walk in Nakajima Park.

It was my first stay.
This time I went to Sapporo for work. Since it was for work, a reasonably priced business hotel would have been fine, but I chose this place because I wanted to stay at the newly opened Courtyard. It was better than I imagined. It's a 2-3 minute walk from Nakajima Park Station. Location is important because it's cold, but the food was very delicious. Breakfast while looking out from the second-floor restaurant and the pescatore in the first-floor lounge. It was unforgettable because it was so delicious with lots of seafood, yet at such a reasonable price. Thanks to the delicious food, I was able to work energetically. I would like to stay again when I visit Sapporo someday. Thank you for your hospitality.

I like it.
I used the bathing Facility immediately after check-in. Since there were no other guests, I was able to enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath in a private setting. Both the changing room and the bath were clean and well-maintained, which was pleasant. I hope the quality of cleaning is maintained as it is. The Room also felt comfortable to me, and I was able to relax. After check-in, I had lunch in the lounge, which was delicious and satisfying. It was my first stay, but I had a satisfying experience and would like to use it again. Thank you very much.

Comfortable at the new hotel
It was comfortable at the new hotel. The road in front of the lobby leading to the parking lot is narrow, and the further parking lot has limited flat parking spaces, so it became mechanical. Also, the path from the parking lot to the hotel is outdoors and requires a detour, so it feels a bit inconvenient if you go by car. The room is functional despite being small. The breakfast had a wide variety, with several stations where they cook in front of you, which was nice.

That's unfortunate, I look forward to next time.
I stayed at the newly opened Marriott brand hotel near Nakajima Park. Check-in was smooth, and since it came with a restaurant credit, I had a beer and requested a mini parfait even though it was before the serving time, and they kindly accommodated my request. It was delicious. I booked a Deluxe Twin room, and from the guide photos, the difference from a regular twin seemed to be whether there was a chair or a sofa. The Deluxe had a chair. The plan included a minibar with soft drinks, but there were only four bottles of mineral water. Is this considered a soft drink? I couldn't believe this was the service, and I was quite disappointed. It was unclear what made it a Deluxe Twin. The view from the window was of the parking lot of the neighboring hotel. I didn't feel any inconvenience while spending time in the room. I went to the public bath early, which was good, but it was quite small. I opted for breakfast, but it felt not much different from a business hotel, which was also disappointing. The location is convenient, so I would like to stay again next time, hoping for improvements.

It was clean.
Newly opened, it's understandably clean. I hope it stays this way. The breakfast had a variety of options and was great. Thank you very much.

I wish they had put a little more effort into the breakfast...
I stayed here during a business trip. Since it was the weekend and all the other famous hotels were fully booked, and other hotels had high weekend rates, I decided to book this place, which had just opened and had no information available. As expected from the Marriott group, the staff were polite, and there were no issues with the room amenities, and there was a large public bath, so it wasn't bad. However, the breakfast buffet didn't have much of a Hokkaido feel, which was a bit disappointing. Many hotels in Sapporo put a lot of effort into their breakfasts, so I was looking forward to it, expecting it to be at a competitive level... Perhaps I had too high expectations because the Fairfield, also part of the Marriott group, had a very impressive breakfast buffet. Also, the relationship between the sink and the toilet in the room was unusual, which caught me off guard.
